I'm thinking about trying Pilex since it's available here in the States now—has anyone actually had any success with it?

I guess I'll just answer my own question—don't worry, I haven't lost my mind just yet. Regarding Pilex: they are incredibly expensive (around $233), and a friend of my wife's from work mentioned they weren't particularly impressed with them either. To be fair, he was dealing with severe inflammation, bleeding, and significant pain, so maybe they did offer some relief, but overall? It felt like paying a premium price for very little actual results.👎

Hemorrhoids aren't even remotely pleasant—they’re straight-up painful. And honestly? I just don't get people who have even the slightest issue with them but refuse to actually go see a doctor to get it handled. We've gone through pages and pages of posts here, yet people are still out there begging for advice that's just a repetitive loop of the exact same thing over and over again. It’s like they're stuck in a circle! Instead of just going out there, getting fixed up, and then coming back to share what worked so the rest of us can learn, they just sit there struggling. Some people deal with them constantly and do absolutely nothing about it, just endlessly hunting for tips that won't do a damn thing if you don't actually take action. Just man up, get the courage to deal with it, and get rid of those things once and for all ☕. Let me know how it went 🙂

I tried every single over-the-counter cream you can find at the local CVS, but nothing seemed to make a dent. Eventually, I decided to consult a herbalist, and I am so glad I did—it was a total game-changer. I ended up buying a salve they made using a blend of natural ingredients like beeswax, honey, chamomile, lovage, lavender, and a few other herbs.
That specific combination was truly a lifesaver for me!

Could you share a bit more detail about the ointment? Whereabouts did you pick it up?🙂

Lawrence Walker37 said:Look, I don't know exactly what you're dealing with, but it sounds like it could be hemorrhoids. You really just need to get it sorted out. Please, don't suffer through it like I did—I spent fifteen long years in agony... all because I was absolutely terrified of doctors. But seriously, the exam isn't even painful. Not even close! It’s totally standard; they just put on a latex glove, use some lubricant so everything is smooth, and since they're only checking with one finger, you barely feel a thing.

The THD method is available in Cincinnati over at the K-center. It's performed by an Israeli specialist—I think he's a visiting doctor, meaning he only comes in once a month—but man, you can tell the guy is incredibly experienced. He's a proctologist. If you want to dig deeper into how that specific method works, just do a little digging online... all I can tell you is that after just two days, I could finally sit down without pain. My hemorrhoids were still there, and yeah, you definitely feel them when you're on the toilet, but that passes quickly (especially if you use some witch hazel soaked in cotton pads as a compress). Though, I should emphasize, the doctor assured me they would disappear completely within a month.

Just to clarify why that area is so sensitive: the doctor explained that there are actually more nerve endings back there than there are in a woman's nipple, which is why the pain feels so incredibly intense...

Use some witch hazel, wash up more frequently throughout the day—if you can't, just use baby wipes (make sure they're alcohol-free!)—and eat plenty of fruit and salad. Avoid heavy pasta and dairy for a bit. Just hold off until things calm down, maybe two or three weeks.

If there is anything else I can do to help, please just ask.

Hi Nikola, I read that you got rid of your hemorrhoids using the THD method, and I was wondering how you're doing now? Have they fully cleared up? I'm suffering from unbearable pain😠 and mine are also stage 4. I'm considering the THD method myself, so I'd love to hear your thoughts.

So it's just like I thought—you pretty much have to head to Chicago for everything...

Honestly, just scroll back a page or two... I laid it all out so clearly, explaining exactly what, where, how, and how much...🙄And yes, this can be done right here in Cincinnati.😉

I missed it.

Fantastic.

Not for me. I dealt with bleeding for seven days straight, and the result was still a big fat zero... negative. And all that stuff isn't exactly cheap, either. But hey... if you've got the itch and the extra cash to burn, go ahead and try it.

I’ve run out of that vein gel I usually pair with this Italian cream—Proctolyn (not an ad, I promise!)—which I’ve honestly found way more helpful than anything else I've tried. When I stopped by the pharmacy, they showed me about five or six different types of gels, and the pharmacist actually confirmed that using these gels can be super effective for managing hemorrhoids. Since I haven't seen any blood in quite a while—knock on wood, knock on wood, knock on wood—we're talking years here—I really think that staying consistent with this cream and gel combo has helped toughen up those "wild" capillary walls enough so they don't burst anymore. They've been sitting at about a grade 3 (from inside to out) for years now; they aren't growing, and while living with them isn't exactly a walk in the park, we've kind of reached a peaceful coexistence.

Look, I've been dealing with this since back in the day during the war, and since I haven't done anything about it, I can tell you for a fact that you can actually live with hemorrhoids. Sure, it might take a little bit of a toll on your stamina or how you handle intense physical activity, but it's not a total dealbreaker. That said, after two or three hours of heavy lifting or hard labor, things can definitely flare up. This is why I think it’s just plain wrong to claim that everyone needs surgery—we aren't all built the same!

Thanks for the input. I've actually decided to move away from using Pilex; instead, I'm trying an Aloe vera regimen. It's a bit of a multi-step process right now—I'm taking some tea and omega-3 supplements, followed by Lycium, along with topical sprays and creams. So far, after about a month, things are looking pretty good. I expect it will take closer to three months to see the full effect, so I'll check back in later to let everyone know if this specific combination worked out completely for me.

Honestly, TREBAVAC wasn't much of an actor anyway. 😁
Personally, I’m doing fine with these Hemic products now (no issues at all)... I haven't even needed to use anything for the last month and a half... fingers crossed it stays this way.🙂

Hey, my husband dealt with occasional hemorrhoid issues (which he totally ignored, obviously) until last summer when everything just went south. It was a total disaster. He couldn't sit, walk, or even lie down because of the pain. He tried a whole box of Detralex and some antibiotics, but things just got worse.
After seeing a proctologist, they confirmed it was stage III/IV hemorrhoids. He decided to go with rubber band ligation. He had four sessions, spaced about a month apart, done after work hours, so he could just head straight home. By the second day, he was back at his job—just had to take things a little slower. He absolutely loved it! He says neither the exam nor the procedure hurt, and he’s got a pretty low pain tolerance. Each exam and follow-up session cost $83. Not trying to run an ad here or anything, but it was at a phlebology and proctology clinic over in the Malešnica area of the city.
Hope this helps anyone else looking for info.

Hey everyone... I think my issue fits right in here. I've been sitting for long stretches lately (it's mandatory for work), and over the last two days, I've noticed 😬 some thin streaks of blood on the toilet paper and some discomfort during bowel movements. It’s likely just hemorrhoids. I've never dealt with anything like this before, so I wanted to ask. I tried scrolling through the previous posts, but there are honestly way too many to find a specific answer to my situation... Is there a chance this is just from sitting too much? Will it clear up if I try warm chamomile baths and cut back on sweets, chocolate milk, and stuff like that for a while? I don't really eat fast food, so... help, please. 🙂

It feels like I'm dealing with hemorrhoids. I've never experienced anything like this before, so I wanted to reach out. It’s going to take some time and a lot of patience. While these issues have only just started and don't seem critical yet, unfortunately, the most difficult part is often still ahead of you.

Try adjusting your diet—incorporating more whole grains can make a huge difference. Make sure to stay on top of hygiene using wet wipes, and consider applying a vein gel
(to help strengthen those capillaries so they don't burst). You might also find relief using chamomile oil or taking Hemoroidin—which is a supplement from Encijana-kao. If you catch it early enough, you shouldn't need anything else, but if things get more intense, there are other options available. This forum is actually quite helpful for this kind of thing; feel free to browse through the previous discussions here.🙂

William Hayes9, thanks for the heads-up 😬 ... today was actually okay... I don't really feel that discomfort while sitting anymore... we'll see how things go after the "technical" stuff happens (you know, when nature calls)

vividcrane25, I've already cut out all the bad stuff that makes stools hard—things like chocolate, cookies (sigh), toast, and pork for lunch... so we'll see. Thanks so much for the quick product recommendation! 😉 I'll definitely be scrolling through the threads if things get worse, though I hope they don't 😢

The worst part is just not being able to wipe my butt like a normal person😢. Look, it doesn't hurt and there's no bleeding, but I just want to grab some toilet paper and actually wipe properly instead of constantly patting at these little cushions😢.

I just needed to vent a little bit☕.

Oh, man, sorry about that—I certainly didn't mean to scare you. I've been dealing with this for years, but honestly, I was negligent and didn't do anything to address it. About two weeks ago, I started bleeding quite heavily, and that was my wake-up call that things were getting out of hand. I barely managed to get the bleeding under control. Now, I'm drinking plenty of water, snacking on dried fruit (mostly prunes), and slowly adjusting to a new routine. I've never been a huge meat eater anyway, and I hardly touch alcohol. I went through a full round of Pilex (which is expensive as all get out!) and now I'm just working on maintaining a manageable baseline. 🙂
If things stay this way, I'll be fine, but I'm still a little worried that my backside and I might have a few more rough patches ahead of us. 😂

Warm regards from Cincinnati👋
