Honestly, someone needs to put you in a frame... maybe give you a little hope for once instead of just the constant venting. Seriously—I just hope this lasts for you. But look, you aren't really saying (without me going too far back) what the actual size or scale was like? If we're talking about something roughly the diameter of a pinky fingertip—long-term issues, but they're under control—how does that work with this specific method when dealing with those "in-out-in" movements? Even though I still stand by my usual thought—that we manage to endure things for a long time and relatively well—it’s never a bad idea to have more details on the table!

I’ve been doing a bit of reading on this, so I figured I’d chime in and help out.
I think someone might have mentioned it already, but Hädensa is really the gold standard when it comes to tackling the issues you guys are describing.
One thing that helps is taking a shower with a sharp, cold spray...
It’s basically a nerve issue, and nerves like that just can't handle hot water.
For anyone struggling with this, my sincere recommendation is to go with this cream. It’s pretty hard to track down in local pharmacies here in the States, but if you happen to have any connections in Canada, it’s easy to pick up there. You don't need a prescription, and it only runs you about $4.

Hey everyone... I just had a hemorrhoid burst and there was some bleeding... thankfully it’s stopped now, but the thing is still right there... (external hemorrhoid). I'm getting a little anxious because my doctor isn't picking up the phone... Is it actually normal for a hemorrhoid to pop like that, or should I be worried? HELP... 😲 I've been using Ultraproct ointment for the hemorrhoid

Honestly, I think it might actually be a good thing if it pops—it probably takes some of that intense pressure away, so maybe it won't hurt as much now?😕

Hadensa might seem like a good option to some people, but honestly, it caused me a massive amount of trouble—I actually dealt with some bleeding and all sorts of issues, so I ditched it pretty quickly!! It seems like it doesn't work well for older folks at all; maybe it’s fine for kids, but I've heard from plenty of other frustrated people that once they tried it, they were "never again." So please, be careful with recommendations—we don't want anyone else ending up worse off.
It isn't even available here in the States, and nobody seems to know why—which makes me wonder if there are certain ingredients in it that wouldn't pass our FDA regulations.
Just to be clear, I'm not trying to push any products or anything, but after trying a bunch of different things, I found that the Italian Tylenol works best for me, and it's actually pretty affordable.

I had my surgery about a month ago, and I’ve got a follow-up appointment scheduled for tomorrow. Honestly? I think I finally kicked those damn issues for good. It was a nasty situation—really gross stuff—but man, was it worth it. Breathing just feels easier now. If you're struggling with that kind of thing, seriously, just go see a surgeon. In my opinion, it’s the only real way to actually fix the problem once and for all.

I can't even begin to deal with this level of nonsense right now. Seriously, does anyone else feel like we're just circling the drain? It’s like every single thing that happens lately is designed to test my patience—if I even have any left. Is it just me, or is everything becoming an absolute circus? You see these headlines, you hear these people talking, and you just want to put your head through a wall. Honestly, I’m exhausted. Does anybody actually care about getting things right anymore, or are we all just playing pretend? It's ridiculous. Truly. kaže:
Give me a break... I am honestly freaking out here. These things just showed up on me today and I'm losing my mind. I’m really hoping FactCheck can actually get this sorted out quickly. But seriously, what if they decide I need surgery? Do I have to stay stuck in the hospital for a while then???🤷

Look, I was at a level 4 out of 4—the absolute worst they can tell you—so surgery wasn't even up for debate. It was the only way out. I spent weeks jumping through all the hoops for the procedure: running tests, dealing with blood work, seeing the pulmonologist, the anesthesiologist, the internist... the whole nine yards. You even have to deal with blood transfusions if things go sideways. Then comes the hospital stay itself. Day one is basically just prep—you aren't eating anything, and you're stuck dealing with nothing but enemas. Then day two hits, you have the actual surgery, and then you start the recovery process. I ended up being stuck there for seven days because my recovery hit right during the Easter holiday weekend. But honestly? From my own experience, I’m telling you: it’s really not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Peace.👍👍👍

You were using all caps... which is basically considered shouting online. It makes things harder to read and slows everyone down. Just wanted to clear that up since people seem to miss the point... that was the issue. 😉

There is just too much here—it’s honestly overwhelming to read through it all. Anyway, I’ve been dealing with internal hemorrhoids, etc., etc.—and I started using Preparation H about a week ago, which seems to be working wonders. Since I also struggle with constipation, I’m happy to say that since starting the Prep H, I haven't had any pain at all from those issues.
So, I was wondering if anyone else has experience with Prep H—did they actually clear up for you?

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this yet... but wow... that HEMO EX oil from Aromare... it is absolutely fantastic for hemorrhoid relief and just general care down there. Honestly, it worked wonders for me, especially since it's all-natural. No side effects at all. And it actually smells nice too (not that that matters much, right? :P ) ...it's just a really solid product. That oil...

I’ve run into a bit of a situation myself. About a year and a half ago, I noticed a small hemorrhoid and tried treating it with some FactCheck ointment. It wasn't really helping, so about a year back, I went to see a specialist. After a rectoscopy, my doctor identified a single small hemorrhoidal knot. There hasn't been any internal bleeding or any visible growths, but he did diagnose what he called an "exposed, vulnerable hemorrhoidal plexus."

He prescribed a custom cream made at the pharmacy based on his specific formula. I used that cream religiously. Honestly, I would have stopped if I felt better, but every 15 days or so, everything just resets. That’s where I am now—I’ve started using the cream again, but lately, after a bowel movement, I notice a tiny amount—just a single drop of bright, fresh blood—on the wet wipe by the second or third wipe. I can't feel any actual hemorrhoids or swelling, just a slight stinging sensation that passes pretty quickly.

I stay on top of my hygiene, obviously... keeping things clean and everything. But this persistence is starting to worry me. Given that the diagnosis wasn't anything major and my blood work came back totally normal, I’m wondering what my next move should be. Should I be concerned, or just keep doing exactly what I’ve been doing?

My diet has always been heavy on fruits and vegetables, white meat, and fish. I've eaten this way for years.

I’m hoping someone can give me some clarity here. I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac, so this whole thing is honestly driving me a little crazy.

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone

So, I actually have a bit of a question regarding hemorrhoids... I mean, they've popped up here and there before—nothing too crazy—but just earlier today, I noticed this pain right around my tailbone area (well, a bit higher than the usual spot). It’s honestly hurting quite a bit and there's this stinging sensation, too. It makes sitting down a little difficult, and even walking feels a bit off... I suppose it might be because sitting at my desk all day at work and having an irregular bathroom schedule has become such a frequent thing lately... so, I was wondering, could this also be an internal hemorrhoid?

The pain started up last year—since I was doing yoga every single day, I figured I just tweaked my tailbone, but deep down I knew that wasn't it.
Then things got messy with some bleeding, and after getting some serious exams 😲 they diagnosed me with internal hemorrhoids, grade one.
Now, I’m stuck sitting for like 10 hours a day at work and there's just no avoiding it. Since they aren't external, I don't even know what to apply, so I feel like topical stuff is useless. My bathroom habits are totally normal and I eat super healthy, but still—whenever I have to sit for a massive stretch like this week, the pain around my butt flares up and it starts bleeding again.

My doctor basically told me to "just eat better" and called it a day. Honestly, that helps zero percent.🙂

What should I do next? Anyone dealt with internal ones before?

Also, please tell me where I can grab a cushion like this one?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I suppose I could try asking my question again, since it seems nobody really addressed it the first time.
So, regarding Hemoclin gel—I started using it for internal hemorrhoids about two weeks ago. It definitely helps with the pain and stinging after a bowel movement—which makes life much easier, honestly—but I haven't noticed them actually receding at all.
I realize this is a relatively new product here in the States, but I'm wondering if it’s actually effective at shrinking them, or if it just works as a pain reliever?
Since you aren't supposed to use it for more than 30 days straight, and I've already been at it for two weeks, I'm starting to worry that maybe it won't actually solve the underlying issue. Perhaps I'm just being impatient and expecting results too quickly—I guess I don't know.
Thank you in advance

Hey doc, you probably saw my previous posts about having surgery for stage 4 hemorrhoids. The procedure went smoothly and I’m actually feeling pretty great today—really can't complain about that part. But look, I need some guidance on what comes next. What kind of follow-up therapies should I be looking into? Is there anything specific I should be keeping an eye on during recovery? Thanks.

Look, I’ve got a situation that’s a bit more intense because, honestly, I’m a total panic attack sufferer and a massive hypochondriac. My biggest fear is getting hit with some terrifying diagnosis, so I end up avoiding the doctor altogether. About two years ago, things started getting pretty rough with what I think were hemorrhoids. It started with some kind of intestinal infection, and then I had this one instance of bloody stool—I mean, bright red, fresh blood... but after that, it hasn't happened again.
Since I deal with panic attacks, my gut gets incredibly cramped up all the time. And of course, following those recurring bathroom issues—even though my bowel movements are mostly normal now—I get this intense burning and pain. It feels like everything "down there" is hurting—my bladder, the whole area around my rear... it just feels completely inflamed.
When the pain hit a peak during one of those bad stretches, I finally saw my primary care physician. She gave me an exam and concluded it was just a single external hemorrhoid and that nothing else looked wrong. Before that, I actually went to my gynecologist because I couldn't figure out where the pain was coming from, and she told me everything was fine there too...

The thing is, whenever I'm stressed and dealing with those bowel movements, that stinging and burning sensation kicks in. Usually, I just slather on some baby cream or use chamomile compresses, and that typically settles things down within a day or two...

Anyway, I'm wondering how I can get my hands on these specific remedies that are sold over in Canada—is there any way to get them here through local pharmacies? There’s gotta be a way to find them in the States... I see ads for all sorts of meds around Pike Place Market, maybe there's a way to order through them?
Thanks in advance for the help.

I really need some help, and I need it fast. I honestly don't have the energy to read through this entire thread right now...
I just noticed a lump near my anus, and there’s this purple-blue spot on it that’s stinging like crazy. This just showed up last night, and I haven't even used the restroom yet... I'm honestly pretty terrified about what might be going on. What should I do? Please, help...

Just take a breath and scroll back through the threads; there’s already plenty of info in there...😉
Don't panic over a little spot. That sounds like a typical external hemorrhoid. Is there anything else specific you can tell us?
