Amy Jackson5 said:I’ve got a serious problem on my hands. I’ve gone through every possible medical checkup you can imagine—skull scans, sinus exams, eye exams, MRIs—and every single result comes back perfect. But this headache? It’s absolutely killing me. Every day, the pain gets so intense I just want to give up. Let me try to describe it. Sometimes it feels like a stinging sensation in the top of my head, and other times it feels like there's fluid trapped in the back of my skull. I dealt with migraines a few months ago, but those luckily cleared up. Now, the real issue is my concentration. I can’t get anything done to save my life. It’s like I’m a magnet for bad luck lately; I keep attracting irritable people, and over the last two months, I’ve already been in three car accidents and wiped out on my bike once. I can barely write ten words without messing one up. So, how did this start? You might think I’ve lost my mind, but honestly, it felt like I was experiencing a shift in consciousness... though the transformation didn't quite take. I’ve seen a psychotherapist at least 20 times, and even he’s completely stumped. My neurologist just keeps handing me magnesium supplements, but they don't do a damn thing. This has been eating at me for six miserable months now. If anyone knows what might help, please, let me know. If my talk about higher consciousness doesn't make sense to you, there's a good description of it here: , 3. Power - MANIPURA chakra, the navel center, the fire center. I know what you're thinking—that I've gone crazy and an asylum is the only place for me—but please, just try to help and give me some advice. Thanks.

Have you had a color Doppler scan on your cranial blood vessels?
To me, it sounds like your brain isn't getting enough oxygen, most likely because of a misaligned cervical spine—you can check that with a neck X-ray.
A neurologist can use a Doppler to see the blood flow and exactly how much it's being restricted.
The symptoms are fucking hellish, they'll drive you insane.

I actually did the color Doppler, and they said nothing was wrong. I have to admit, though, my spine is in pretty bad shape, and I haven't even done an X-ray on my vertebrae yet. I did get an MRI of my cervical spine, and one vertebra is slightly out of place, but even then, they tell me the headaches aren't coming from that.

Nah, you should go ahead and get a referral for a physical therapist to take a look at you too. You need a specialist to actually confirm that those headaches aren't stemming from the spine.

Well, there you have it. My doctor told me the exact same thing—nothing serious—while I'm sitting here feeling absolutely miserable.
Even if the headaches aren't from the spine, they're probably coming from hemorrhoids.
Do you get any ringing in your ears too?
Your best bet is hitting up physical therapy to get that neck posture back where it belongs.
Down the road, you just need to stay active—walking, hitting the gym, whatever.
I started going to the gym regularly, and honestly, my circulation improved quite a bit; the headaches aren't hitting nearly as hard now.
You could also try some Ginkgo Biloba.

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else here has dealt with something similar lately... For the past few days, I’ve been getting these intense headaches out of nowhere at least twice a day, and then the pain starts spreading down into my neck and shoulders. It honestly feels like a nerve is getting pinched somewhere in that area—sometimes it’s the neck, sometimes it’s the shoulder—and there are times when I can't even turn my head or shrug my shoulders without feeling this sharp, stabbing pain for a few minutes. I really don't want to go running to the doctor immediately unless I have to, so I wanted to see if any of you have gone through this and how you managed to fix it? Thanks!😕

Those headaches are probably coming from spine issues or just bad posture...
Maybe a professional massage, watching your posture, or sleeping on a totally flat surface... might help ease things up...

It’s probably just a tension headache triggered by some neck pain. You should probably touch base with your primary care doctor—they can prescribe you a muscle relaxant. One of the most common ones they'll likely suggest is diazepam (like Valium).

I've actually been sleeping without a pillow for a while now. Honestly, whenever I try using one, everything just feels way worse. As for massages, yeah, I'm down, but only if it's from a physical therapist—at least that's what everyone tells me. I wouldn't touch those spa massages in a beauty salon.

Oh, totally, definitely go for a physical therapist. Most people at those spas are just there to chill out...

I get headaches almost every single day

I don't even bother telling my people about it anymore. I mean, okay, I can tell if I skip a meal (like if I head out without breakfast or don't eat lunch until 6 PM), but I have no clue why my head hurts right when I wake up or if I've just been hanging out at home all day. I sleep either flat without a pillow (90% of the time) or using an orthopedic one.

I know it could be my bra, maybe like if the straps are pulled way too tight.

I know a bra can definitely be the culprit, like if the straps are pulling way too tight on your shoulders.

Honestly, I don't think that's my issue. It’s more likely just my terrible posture, or maybe the fact that I spend way too many hours hunched over at the university or just sitting around all day.😢

So, I deal with headaches pretty often—usually about twice a week, for as long as I can remember.
But lately, I’ve been tracking it over the last three weeks, and man, it’s been hitting me basically every single day.
Sometimes it’s just a quick ten-minute flare-up, other times it hangs around for hours on end.
I'm planning to head to the doctor, but probably not until next week—so in the meantime, I'd love to hear what you all think is going on.🙄

Up until a few months ago, I was going through the exact same thing—terrible daily headaches, sometimes mild, sometimes lasting half the day. It turns out the whole mess was actually caused by a rotten tooth.

Headaches can stem from all sorts of things—low blood pressure, weather changes, certain foods, stress, PMS, and so on.
Personally, I’ve reached a point where I can tell if a headache is just due to the weather, my cycle, or if I'm heading toward a full-blown migraine attack...
I generally think it might be worth seeing a doctor and getting some tests done, just so you can get back to enjoying life without being held back.
Best,

I’ve dealt with headaches since I was old enough to remember. It wasn't just "sometimes"—it was constant. Seven days a week, 24 hours a day. I’d wake up with them and go to bed with them. I went through endless tests and specialists, and nobody had a clue what was actually happening. Some doctors even floated the idea of epilepsy, but they couldn't tell me how to fix it. I tried everything—homeopaths, energy healers, you name it—but nothing worked.
Then this year, I started going to yoga. I mentioned my constant headaches to our instructor, explaining how many doctors I’d already seen, and he just looked at me and said he knew exactly how to fix it. 🙂 He told me the real culprit was actually my stomach. Apparently, we’re always subconsciously sucking it in, trying to keep it tight, without even realizing we're doing it. He said I needed to relax my core (he threw out some technical terms about internal pressure and how it all travels up to the brain, but honestly, I forgot most of it). And then there was one other thing—sounds totally weird, but it works: you have to relax your anus. 😲 Look, laugh all you want, but it actually worked for me. My headaches are completely gone now, except for those rare times when stress hits so hard that I physically can't relax my gut or... well, anything else. And if I can't relax, I probably shouldn't be pushing it anyway. 🙄 Honestly, living without that constant pain is just incredible. I’d recommend this to anyone.
The whole thing comes down to just letting go (even when it feels impossible, at the end of the day, it's your body and your health, and hey, you can do anything if you set your mind to it!)
Good luck to everyone fighting the headache battle!! 😉
And to everyone else too, of course 🙂

I agree regarding the yoga... it definitely helps. Once you shift your focus elsewhere, the relaxation kicks in. That constant headache could also be a sign of frequent, low-level toxicity. Even in small amounts, those toxins can really wear down your system. Check your diet and what you're drinking...

True, half of that comes down to nerves... though there are plenty of other things that can trigger it—sinus issues, bad eyesight, or just spending way too much time staring at a TV or a computer screen

The sinus thing is definitely a factor for me. I deal with polyps, but my doctors kept insisting that wasn't the culprit. Turns out, it was actually my brain waves acting totally erratic instead of staying steady. Maybe? Anyway, it's finally sorted out now! 🙂 😁

I’m right there with you... it’s been every single day for two months now. I am reaching my breaking point. 😠
