It’s not even a struggle for me... I’m basically applying this 🥳 every half hour or so... but honestly? It all comes down to whatever brand you pick, and from what I can tell, most of them don't actually offer much of a long-term difference

I’ve been testing out this Nivea stuff tonight right before hitting the sack... ---it’s actually not bad, thanks a ton. I tried it once the other night and—get this—it didn't even last a minute before that greasy cream just soaked straight in... totally vanished... I mean, I was like😲 😲 😲

Apply a thick layer of Aquaphor baby cream right before you hit the sack. In the morning, just dab a little bit on to give your lips that healthy shine and 👍 👍

At night, after washing up, gently scrub with a towel or a wet toothbrush, then apply what I already mentioned above 😁

Navce, sometimes instead of the Aquaphor cream, you could try putting honey on your lips (just don't eat it!) and 👍 👍

You'll definitely see some improvement

As for ChapStick, it’s honestly an addiction. Right now, I’m cycling through Chamomile, dark blue, rose dark blue, and sensitive rose—basically baby blue.

It's a total trap

I really need to kick this habit, seriously 👋 👋

I’m honestly obsessed with the Avene lip balm with cold cream ($15). I just swipe it on whenever I feel like it, and unlike ChapStick or whatever other cheap stuff you find at the drugstore, it actually keeps my lips from drying out. 👍

I don't usually deal with this kind of thing, but for some reason, every single winter it just catches up with me...

Does anyone know if there’s an actual, effective remedy out there?

Slather it thick with honey, hold it as long as you can stand, and then lick it off.

I know this sounds absolutely wild, but if your lips are incredibly, seriously, insanely chapped—like we're talking next-level dryness—the best thing I’ve ever found is actually lard. Just smear a thin layer on before you hit the hay, and by morning, they feel completely brand new! It feels pretty gross at first, I won't lie, but man, it works like a charm. Besides, most people have some sitting in their kitchen anyway, so what do you have to lose by giving it a shot?

Just use Johnson & Johnson ointment. It works instantly...

A few of us over here on the mainland will have to mail you a pound or two of some good local stuff!

My lips get so dry they actually crack and bleed (honestly, I’m as parched as a desert!), but I could never bring myself to use lard on them—I think my stomach would turn just thinking about it!

Ointments don't really do much for me, but I've found that some good old-fashioned propolis salve works wonders.

Those lanolin creams are a total mystery... some people swear they work for everything, while for others—absolutely nothing.

They don't work for me either.

It’s actually making things worse for me, not better
My skin feels like it's thickening up, yet it keeps cracking, which makes it look like I have fish scales—okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but that's the vibe
It just looks terrible

You might be allergic to lanolin, for all we know.

I guess everyone reacts differently—who knows... For me, it was the only thing keeping my lips from peeling. I used it for years, but honestly, it felt like it had some kind of addictive quality to it. You apply it and within minutes you feel this tightening sensation—not super obvious to look at, but you definitely feel it—so you end up constantly licking your lips or reapplying, which just left me with a permanent crust... Not to mention the constant licking actually ended up cracking my skin. It was just awful.

The real Labello stuff is acting weird lately. Honestly, my go-to right now is Baleine Lip Balm. If your lips start cracking, just use honey—it’s what
says works best.

Honestly, lip balms like Labello are absolute death for my lips.

The only thing that actually works is taking some Johnson & Johnson moisturizer and applying a thick layer right before bed. Generally speaking, any decent cream works way better than those cheap lip sticks; using stuff like Labello just creates a total disaster for me. After two or three days of using it, my lips—which were perfectly healthy and not even dry—end up totally cracked and peeling. I just don't get what the problem is...

I’m telling you all, the issue lies with the lanolin.

You can pick up some fish oil ointment at any local CVS; it’s honestly amazing. It’s loaded with vitamins A and D, and yeah, it smells a little funky, but nothing you can't handle. Just grab some, $9.00. It works wonders if your Chapstick isn't doing the trick.
