So, I’ve officially been smoke-free for five days now, and honestly? It wasn't even a big dramatic decision. It just kind of happened. I was traveling home for New Year's Eve, spent two whole days stuck on a bus, caught a bit of a cold, and I just didn't feel like lighting up. Now, the cravings are starting to creep in a little, but I'm trying my best to just ignore them—I'm basically living on pretzels right now and it's actually working!
I mean, I never really took quitting seriously before... but now...

First off, I want to wish everyone the absolute best for the New Year's Eve ahead!!!
👋
On New Year's Eve, I decided to treat myself to a box of cigars, and now it feels like I'm reaching for one way more often than I used to. It’s driving me crazy! Look, I know I have no one to blame but myself, but I smoked for so long that grabbing a cigar just feels like second nature—it's honestly ridiculous. I don't think I've done enough to actually quit, especially since I don't smoke inside the house, only outdoors. Right now, I feel like I'm stuck at this awful crossroads, trying my hardest to stay inside 😢 because everyone around me is smoking, and it's just too easy to give in when you're in that kind of crowd.
Is anyone else dealing with something similar?👋

👍 👍

Even though I wasn't exactly a heavy smoker—I never smoked inside my house, though I certainly could have.
Going without a smoke for a day or two? I still couldn't bring myself to do it.
Giving up those little rituals—like having two or three cigarettes with coffee while catching up with someone...
Honestly, my friends and I couldn't even imagine a night out on the town without a cigarette in hand. Sitting around...
Coffee shops without smoking just weren't the same... etc.

I haven't smoked in eight months. No grand epiphany or major life decision involved.
It just happened naturally through awareness and acceptance.
A healthier lifestyle.
I don't hang out at bars anymore, and I definitely don't party until dawn. I used to, though.
More than fifteen years straight. 🙂 Honestly, I just don't have the energy for it anymore.
I spend my weekends out in nature—hitting the coast in the summer, and now I'm off to hit the slopes. 😍 My boyfriend just told me he's happy to have a girlfriend.
If she doesn't smoke, it actually works in his favor. It’s a total win.
He cut back, even though he wasn't exactly a "full-time smoker."

Even at work—my boss and a colleague are already smoking while we drink our morning coffee.
Coffee. ☕ And I'm just sitting here having breakfast. 😁 Yeah, I'm totally fine. 👍

I don't really have a specific reason for posting here, other than to brag a little bit: after fifteen years of smoking two packs a day, I haven't touched a cigarette in over 24 hours!
I feel absolutely incredible! 😎

Mind if I jump in here? 🙂

So, I decided to quit about ten days ago, but then Sunday rolled around and I ended up lighting one up anyway... I haven't touched one in three days now, but man, the cravings are absolutely wrecking me right now...

But hey, I just gotta power through it!!!
