Megan Ruiz13 said:He clearly didn't know what he was talking about. You guys jumped to conclusions way too fast. Who knows what was going through his head—thinking we’re out here torturing little kids or that there are even any deaths involved? 🤣 😁

Every once in a while, you get some random newcomers who lose their minds the second they wander into the guys' section. They have zero clue about the history here or the nuances of the community. They don't know the regulars—most of whom are just decent guys who enjoy the kind of low-key, chauvinistic banter that actually fits this corner of the forum. 🙂

If I recall correctly, we have a few ladies here who are regulars and actually know their way around a kitchen when it comes to making a good pie. 😁And they don't even have any issues. 🤷

Look, I’m saying it again: you're overreacting. You've crucified this guy over absolutely nothing. It's total nonsense... so much for your feminism. Honestly, what a joke. 🙂

Actually, it’s usually the other way around; when those trolls push back using that classic "MK spirit," that's when the MK crowd starts losing their cool. 🤷

And as for all this mockery—don't you think it should actually be a little bit funny? 😁
Or do you honestly find bitter responses like suck it to be peak comedy? 😁

Nicholas King said:A little bit of futurism here: if—or rather, when—some individual or group (from that persistent collection of clowns we deal with) decides to hire some high-priced, flashy lawyer to discreetly threaten a lawsuit and a subsequent media circus (which isn't even particularly likely, since such stunts are perfect self-promotion for the individual or organization involved), the MK policy will pivot by about three hundred and sixty degrees before you can even finish saying "defend the status quo." Until then, moderation will continue under the principle of, "Man, here we go again, they’re messing with us on PŽK again—I get it, I really do—but look, we have to do this, just keep it low profile so we don't make waves now and regret it later..."

The thing is, no matter how much we have to admit there is an enviable level of skill in the "I'm going to screw them over, but I can't prove it" department (think atomic bomb metaphors or funeral processions during discussions about Pride parades—of course, nobody actually wants anything bad to happen to the participants, because who would ever think of being that malicious 🙄), there is always some clumsy, half-baked attempt at camouflage. Take, for instance, this: "In order to protect ourselves from this vile disease, we won't just take to the streets; the streets will be orderly and become a safe extension of our own backyards where our children can grow up without having to stare at that queer FILTH!"—which, I suspect, would be incredibly difficult to prosecute as a call to clean up neighborhoods or pick up cigarette butts in the park.

To support my thesis regarding the instant course correction triggered by the mere threat of a serious lawsuit, I offer just two words: Robert Pauletić.

Exactly. We should just monitor everyone's internet traffic from here to eternity to keep those creeps in check. I mean, nobody’s coming after our privacy, right? Let's just bake Article 123.2 straight into the Penal Code. It could basically say you have to be a "good citizen" and ignore whether any law actually makes sense, works, or is even remotely realistic. Then we can just ban whatever we want whenever we feel like it. I guess.

Maybe we can just quietly tip off the court about the adultery thing. Then, when some high-priced lawyer decides to show up, they can finally clean up this mess...

A fetishist lawyer, some non-profit association, and a threat... that’s the recipe for happiness and satisfaction, I guess. Real peace and quiet. Cheers to those associations that exist just to push whatever agenda keeps them funded. 🙂

The hallmarks are pretty clear: an absolute, unwavering belief in one's own truth, a total lack of humor or irony, zero sense of life's nuances, and a certain childish self-importance.☕

Luckily, they're usually not smart enough to push things too far before a crisis hits—one big enough to make people trade their common sense for pure instinct.😳

Not really about moral values, I guess. More about stupid beliefs. ☕
the hallmarks are absolute certainty in everything, zero sense of humor, no irony, no grasp on life's nuances, and just childish posturing ☕

Sounds like you're describing your dear Chuck. 😛

Nicholas King said:I honestly think you're missing the point entirely—the statement "kids don't get hit enough today" isn't some attempt at a historical comparison (it’s strictly an expression of regret and an argument for fixing that deficiency), or am I just failing to grasp that specific, highly questionable sense of humor that seems to baffle everyone else?

There was no regret expressed, just an observation. I said that kids used to respect their parents and elders more, and weren't 5% as insolent as they are now. Then I said I don't know what the smart move is; hitting isn't okay, but raising your voice or giving them a smack once in a while probably is.

No nostalgia for the past, no calling for child abuse or domestic violence... just talking sense. That's why we're here. 🙄

Nice burn. You try so hard to explain things from your feminist perspective, and then some guy, a total MK-ovac, just tells you to shove it. 😁

Then the rest of us just sit back and imagine you dealing with that, and suddenly we're not so stressed anymore...🤣 😛

Anyway, it wasn't an insult... it's just part of the fight against feminists trying to wipe out the few men left. 😳

They completely miss the point of this guys' corner. 😉

Look, let's get one thing straight right from the jump: leave the trolling, the insults, and any attempts at provocation—along with dragging their relatives into it—for some other venue. We have a zero-tolerance policy for that kind of behavior here, and it simply won't be permitted.

They didn't respect them anymore; they were just afraid of them. I guess those aren't really the same thing.
Even if they weren't at least 5% as blatant as they are now, I guess things still wouldn't be much better.

It seems like every generation just repeats the same old patterns. I guess.
Then I mentioned that I wasn't quite sure what the smart move was. I guess hitting a kid isn't okay, but maybe raising your voice or giving them a little smack on the backside is probably necessary sometimes.

Neither this nor that seems right, I guess.
In the past, that supposed obedience and "respect" was often just the result of actual physical discipline. I guess.
Just call things by their actual names. Maybe then MK won't have such a hard time with those precious PDFs.☕
I'm not looking to reminisce about the good old days, nor am I suggesting anyone should go back to hitting kids or any kind of domestic violence. I just feel like I need to vent, which is why I'm posting this now. 🙄

I guess it was just some nostalgia for the old days, when you didn't actually need patience or any brainpower to raise kids—you could just hit them and call it a day.
It's just sad. You really can't go on like that... I guess. 🙄

Do you actually have kids? I'm curious if any of you people making such a huge deal about "patience" and "intelligence" in parenting actually have children of your own, or if you're just calling everyone else violent maniacs from the sidelines.

Kids go through certain phases where they can drive you absolutely insane. You can listen, plead, or spend all 24 hours of the day right next to them, but once they decide to be difficult, they are difficult as hell. They'll use everything—tantrums, breaking stuff, throwing themselves on the floor—just to get their way.

There really are those rare moments where you have to show some real firmness. It doesn't mean you have to slap them; a slap hurts. But raising your voice is necessary. Any parent knows there are times you might give them a swat on the butt—it’s not even about hitting, it’s more about that sudden correction that makes them jump.

But people are so quick to scream "abuse" at the first sign of discipline...

And I think a lot of people on the MK forums were just trying to express that same sentiment in their own way.🙂

I haven't broken any laws, I'm certainly not inciting hate or discrimination, and I'm definitely not justifying or praising any crimes or anything like that. 😕

I think we really need to learn how to tell the difference between an actual criminal offense and just something that happens to be prohibited by law.

Oh, yes they have; there are honestly so many posts floating around here that promote corporal punishment for kids.

Daniel White9 said:Oh boy. 🤦

Nice try, but you completely missed the mark.😁

If there’s any censorship to be found on this forum, it’s coming straight from MK. It just seems like that censorship is specifically targeted at anyone who... They aren't. The inventory over there.

If you're looking for the ultimate sensitive souls on this site, look no further than the MK section.
What should we call these types of users—the ones who constantly force moderators to step in because they resort to insulting people just because they can't find a clever comeback? It’s like they lack the wit or the imagination to actually win an argument, so they just gang up on someone ten-to-one instead of using logic. Then, the moderator swoops in, hands out a single yellow card to one person, and just wipes the rest of the posts clean.
I suppose one shouldn't go around offending anyone from the MK. 🤷

There is an entire series of examples like this; for instance, the most recent one is currently a hot topic. Divorced mothers seem to have a distinct advantage when it comes to gaining custody of their children—it’s a clear byproduct of modern feminism..
Alex Barnes8 was dealing with a massive wave of chauvinistic attacks on the forum. At first, she handled it with incredible grace, choosing to just ignore the insults from those MK users—even though their harassment wasn't being moderated. But the second she finally decided to stand her ground and fire back, she was hit with a red card.
Since they couldn't find a way to actually counter her well-reasoned arguments, the users just resorted to frustrated insults—it seems they're already used to having someone shield them from reality.

Well, that’s just plain sweet.😁

Hey Charles Fox10, I have to ask—why was Alex Barnes8 getting hit with so many red cards while those vulgar, insulting posts from that guy from MK just get deleted without any penalty? Specifically, brightcrane56 quoted her post and, apparently unable to come up with anything remotely intelligent, just wrote... Go screw yourself. That post was deleted within minutes instead of being sanctioned.

It’s honestly hilarious watching some people on this thread try to paint MK as some chill, laid-back spot that everyone else is just out to censor. If that were actually the case, they’d be complaining about the thread titled—get this—😁) How does one go about sabotaging a Pride parade?
From what I can see, that thread is sitting there perfectly fine without any moderator deletions for homophobic remarks, and the only ban issued there is—get this...😁) on this post. Basically, someone had the nerve to suggest the title sounds like hate speech and deserves a red card. I don't want to upset whatever sensitive little soul from MK is offended. 😁
That’s enough about how "laid-back and joking" MK supposedly is.

Those constant sexist outbursts that they try to pass off as "just a joke" fail immediately—as soon as some woman on the forum manages to shut them down with actual wit (which isn't hard 😁), these immature types can't dish it out. Instead, they resort to insults, swearing, and calling for the moderators. 😂

:facepalm :🤣

Alex Barnes8 just came in to troll and provoke the thread. She was being insulted, so she insulted them back, and she only ended up getting a card after she ignored a warning from the mods. It's the same old story, and that's really not what we're talking about here.

Megan Ruiz13 said:Time to give you the view from the muški kutak...😳

And there they go again, the feminists are attacking. 🤷

Honestly, with this kind of PMS-driven feminism, the mods and regular guys on this forum are fighting battles every single day.

Scanning through the subforum, I’ve realized that censorship in the muški kutak only seems to target the moody feminists. Everyone else can blather on all they want until they drive my respected colleagues crazy... and then what? You're left with nothing.🤷

Look, if you can't handle some guy banter, just shut down the muški kutak entirely....

And regarding those gay topics—come on. This is the muški kutak: grabbing beers, watching TV, porn, boobs, hookers... and then suddenly, "oh, let's bring in the gay topics or we'll be violating someone's rights." Give me a break...🙄

Just open a separate subforum for gay people and call it a day. 🤷

Feminists have their own space, but nooooooo, they just *have* to invade the muški kutak....😁

That’s the kind of nonsense going on over there.

Before the moderators stepped in, the topic we're discussing was nowhere near that state.

Daniel White9 said:😂

Well... maybe it would be helpful if you actually took a moment to look up what feminism actually means, just so we can avoid these kinds of blunders.😁

MK constantly sees attacks from some sort of feminists... much like how the Church sees communists everywhere.😬

Feminism and pie—that's just their own little internal joke, and honestly, that's perfectly fine by me.

It’s an absolute tragedy that your post—where you were essentially advocating for corporal punishment—got wiped out (and I’d honestly love to know: was it a cardboard cutout of a post?) because you think kids will become obedient simply out of fear. There were a few more brilliant 🙄 sentences in there about how "instilling fear into their bones will make everything fine," but, well, I had work to do so I didn't bother 😢replying.

What you wrote over there has absolutely nothing to do with raising your voice or any of the other sanitized rhetoric you're peddling here—which, frankly, just continues to prove a tragic lack of understanding regarding child development, regardless of how many kids you might have—but, I suppose, that’s beside the point.

That’s true, I guess, but strictly speaking, corporal punishment isn't actually a crime itself. The rules say it's forbidden to justify or glorify criminal acts, but a crime is only what's specifically defined under the Penal Code.

It seems like a bit of an oversight by the admins, but hey, since we're already nitpicking, we might as well go all the way, right? 😁

I’ve only skimmed part of this thread, so I might have missed it, but here’s my take: stripping a kid of their phone, computer, and TV access—it’s way more brutal and painful than any slap they could ever get.
If you lay a hand on a child, you’re an abuser. Period. There’s no middle ground between being an abuser and just letting them run wild when they act up; those are the only two options.

Is there some magical law out there that stops a parent from taking away things they actually paid for? What do we call a parent who does that? A thief? No, because let's be real, they bought the stuff... 🤔
Besides, kids under 13 aren't even allowed on Facebook without parental permission, yet there are tons of them doing it anyway. 😉>

Anyway, MK can get pretty flooded with trolls who hide behind "reasonable" posts just to derail good discussions. Sometimes they're hard to spot because they all act like they're smarter than everyone else.

The first part of my post is factual; the second part still stands.

There. My response to the first part is done, and that's my conclusion.

I don't see where I ever called for instilling fear into their bones. 🤷

Nicole wasn't trolling or being provocative.
If staying on topic counts as trolling, I guess we have a new definition for it.
As for provocation...
In those pdf-ov where people just mess around constantly—talking about 'making pies' or 'feminism'—anything beyond that is considered a provocation.
But in a thread where people have been messing around for five pages straight, maybe provocation is actually a good thing. ☕

Feminism and pies are just their internal jokes, which is fine.

No, it isn't. 🙄

Give me a break. What if guys started hanging out in the women's section just to mess with people? Asking about breast size, claiming they don't know how to drive, and then complaining that their threads aren't getting the same attention as the guy threads...

They’d be kicked out in a heartbeat. 😁

I really don't get why it's so hard to accept that the men's section is what it is. The regulars there shaped its culture. There's a specific vocabulary, a certain type of banter. That's just how it works...

Then some outsider wanders in, gets offended, and starts whining. Honestly. 🙂

I was reading some news reports about various foster care facilities and group homes for kids under 18. Honestly, if a 12-year-old genuinely thinks they're being abused, they should just head straight to one of those institutions.
I have a feeling they’d be begging to go back home pretty fast. A little occasional spanking or getting a firm earful isn't nearly as bad as the reality of what kids actually face in those state-run homes.

You are spreading falsehoods; physical discipline and abuse are not the same thing. An elderly person isn't an abuser just because a senile grandmother loses her temper once and gives them a quick smack, but that smack is still violence and is prohibited under Family Law.

From what I've observed here, nobody has claimed that every single strike is abuse, but every instance of physical punishment is violence, and all physical punishment is illegal in the US.

Moderator Charles Fox10 has been encouraging physical punishment of children, which is prohibited by law.

That is precisely what this topic is about.

Exactly. By that logic, an occasional slap to a senile grandmother or a sharp tug on her ear wouldn't be considered "abuse" either when compared to the conditions some seniors endure in certain nursing homes. I don't think anyone would feel comfortable maintaining that specific line of reasoning if we applied it to the mistreatment of the elderly. 😉
