Mr. Stinger isn't interested in making changes; he’s just out there earning his bread, and thank God for that. Even if he did care, he's already in the green. And honestly, if he wasn't in the black, what would be the point? It's not like CDRW or Wonders are complaining either... I don't know who else around here has enough posts to actually matter... it's a shame he didn't care.🙂))))))), or maybe he did... who knows..

What actually gets under my skin is how you communicate and how you enforce the rules whenever you feel like it. It's just pure inconsistency. Arrogance. Narcissism. A total lack of self-awareness.

Basically, all the exact traits a moderator should never show toward the users on this site.

Not sure what else there is to say that hasn't been said already...

Maybe I'll just add that perception can be the root of all screw-ups...

Reading through the posts, plenty of people hit the nail on the head... it's just that you few refuse to see it since you clearly can't grasp it yourselves...

Honestly, I'm sorry I don't know how to explain this any differently than the way I spent my entire afternoon and night—getting into an argument with my girlfriend and ruining dinner... So yeah, I'm sorry, but I really don't know how else to put it...

It's always some random person on Reddit misinterpreting you... honestly, it's weird.

I don't know... I just notice that even the people who couldn't make heads or tails of me before end up changing their minds after they actually read what I wrote... strange. 🤷

Michael Lee4 said:Alright, here’s a guy who can't stand me. We’re constantly at each other's throats, arguing about everything under the sun. He’s easily one of the most penalized users on this site—and he had plenty of reasons to be—but even after getting hit with a permanent ban once, I still keep him around for one specific reason.

Unlike most of you lot, despite all the constant attacks on me and everyone else, the guy actually knows how to write a high-quality post. Plus, he never whines when he gets a warning because he knows exactly why he earned it. It's not exactly a virtue, but I respect it.

Look, when I first joined this forum, it was practically a sin to praise any French car... I've never seen such a fascist community... I just responded using the same vocabulary everyone else used, including you... now things have calmed down and it actually looks like a real place, and you've become a bit more objective... though you're still a weird character—too obsessed with this forum, and sometimes you swallow nonsense whole (thinking back to those arguments about the last purchase still makes my head spin)... whether you try to hold me to your standards or not, I don't really care... and if you think I hate you, you're wrong—I don't even see you... to me, you're just letters on a screen... I suggest the rest of you start treating this forum the same way, because honestly, I'm starting to worry about your mental health.

If you're asking me—and maybe I don't have enough posts here to be considered "relevant"—just get out of here... You'd be doing yourself a favor anyway. It'll be better for you, (not for me), but it'll definitely make things easier for future generations...

silverviper44 said:I used to be a mod on a different forum, but the principle remains the same: equal rules for all members. No exceptions. Whether you’re a newcomer with two posts or a super VIP with massive contributions, everyone can screw up. You give them a fair warning to watch themselves, and if they don't, then the sanctions follow. It’s like what happened on that Honda forum with one specific member—he was given a polite warning, then a formal warning, but since he wouldn't settle down, he eventually got the boot.

Simple as that.

Obviously, we’re all human, and there needs to be some level of tolerance. Everyone has bad days or feels off sometimes. But it can't happen every other day; that isn't normal, and something has to change.

Personally, I have nothing against Mr. Stinger or any other moderator, but I certainly have an issue with their poor judgment. Like the time I got caught in a clash with some of their "friends"—even though I provided accurate info, I got flagged for "trolling." Or that other time I got banned just for responding to systemic provocations and insults from a member who hadn't even received a warning.

I'm not bringing this up to justify my own actions—I was punished for a reason—but rather to illustrate poor moderation. This poll was started precisely because of these kinds of situations.

No, you've got me wrong...

Let me try to clarify... it isn't the same thing when a member with 5,000 posts gets provoked into losing it and lashes out, versus a member with only two posts doing the exact same thing. First off, it's not the same because a guy with two posts hasn't been around long enough for anything to provoke him that deeply (unless it's a personal insult). Second, there's a high chance in those cases that it's just an "old" forum regular who registered under a new nickname just so they could go to war with everyone without ruining their reputation...

In any case, I'm sticking to my guns: reputation is built through the quality of your posts and your tenure within a community. There isn't a single community out there—whether IRL or online—that can claim veteran members aren't in a better position than the newcomers... saying otherwise is just a fantasy...

Honestly, I feel like Michael Lee4 has gotten way too carried away trying to flex his authority around here. He’s got this constant air of superiority, just casually deleting posts whenever he feels like it. Personally, I think he needs to chill out and be a bit more flexible and tolerant with what people post. At the end of the day, we're all just sitting here debating tin cans on rubber wheels.

As for User, he dug his own grave long before I even showed up. It happened right in that chat that both yours and his were eventually removed from. Get it now? That's another issue with having chats on the forum. Clear enough?

Right when I arrived, reports started flooding in on his clone, so per the forum rules, it had to go. How much this forum misses User is proven by the fact that I actually personally convinced him (breaking the rules myself!) to make a nickname that wasn't linked to User just so he could keep posting. He did that several times because he'd always give himself away with his specific writing style. If you want to judge my character based on that... let's just say we're still in regular contact and he reached out to me today about this. Any guess how?

Regarding the poll, it says right there that it's irrelevant... the reason it isn't matters. Honestly, I have no idea how one would even change a poll, but I certainly wouldn't touch it. Why? That's just not how my brain works...

What I said about the old guard stands. You spoke your piece as a member of the old guard, and they'll do the same. What's not clear about that? Am I supposed to leave just because you said so? Not happening, especially since I can't wrap my head around how you manage to twist everything I say...

Of course—that’s exactly what I expected to hear from you.

Oh, sure—you were probably the one holding his bag for him. My bad...

I saw why User was banned. Some random person reported him for harassment, claiming some kind of mental distress that had absolutely nothing to do with her or anything he actually posted to her.

And of course, we all take your word for it when you say Drocca has your back. I assume he’ll do more than just that—he'll probably organize massive protests in Times Square to make sure you stay right where the mod left you. And naturally, Stinger will get a tattoo on his chest as a sign of support. 🙄

Of course the poll means nothing to you. You were probably expecting maybe four or five votes for your shift, not twenty-something in just a few hours.
The issue is really just your mindset and how you process things. Or rather, how you don't.

It's pretty obvious—you only accept anything from the old guard if it agrees with you; anything else is worthless in your eyes.

Regarding that last sentence, there's an old saying: "One day I realized the whole world was wrong and I was the only one right, so I stopped and took a second to rethink everything..."

Personally, I don't think you're ever going to stop and rethink.

On this PDF, you’ve got certain people who constantly derail serious discussions with their sheer stupidity—it’s either some misplaced loyalty to a model designed 25 years ago or just a total lack of basic physics knowledge. Not to mention, there are clones floating around who haven't even been banned yet, even though there's plenty of reason to do it. Honestly, I think we should be dealing with them first, and maybe without sending a ton of private messages as warnings? (I don't really know how the moderator handles things, so I guess that's one way he does it). Dealing with them would actually improve the quality and seriousness of this PDF way more than just deleting every single chat or nitpicking ten off-topic posts during an automobile guessing game.

Alright, here's a serious question... why won't you give Michael Lee4 his own chat topic, especially since everyone's already crying about him? Is it against the Reddit rules or something?

Oh, is that how it works now?

So the guy just shows up and has to endure all this nonsense, while this other user, who's been lurking here 24/7 for five years, can just... what? Spit venom and vent bitterness whenever they feel like it?

Because besides the parrot (not me saying that, ask Malnar), you've only got User, and he barely has any posts... let alone smart ones..😉 That's why he has so many..🙂))
And that nickname isn't doing you any favors either.. It sounds like... I don't know, some random thing from India...🙂

The only thing dominating the chat on this PF is Stinger's massive ego—it's been proven countless times. When he’s out there flexing his power, I bet there's some militia music playing in the background to keep him disciplined...

Add Grace Turner to that list. Stinger is a tough guy with plenty of CM, but that doesn't mean he's the strongest one out there..

When would the US national soccer team ever beat BRAZIL?... Maybe once in a blue moon, but definitely not like that.. 🙂
