Believe me or not, after dealing with endless rounds of vaginal suppositories, I’ve decided to go the "natural" route. I'm thinking about trying lard... I know, sounds absolutely revolting, but I've been reading online that it actually works, and a friend even swore by it. The plan is to just smear some on a pad and head to sleep for a few nights... any girls here actually tried this who can tell me if it's legit? 😉

For some time now, I’ve been dealing with this brownish-orange discharge that seems to come and go quite randomly. Some days—or even just certain parts of the day—everything looks perfectly white and normal, but then by the evening, it turns brown. It also feels like there's a slight stinging sensation every once in a while. This all started after I had sex with my boyfriend, and I have this nagging suspicion, unfortunately, that it might be due to his poor hygiene... I really can't afford to go to a private clinic right now. Has anyone else here experienced anything similar? And is there any specific treatment I could try? I’ve already been taking Lactogyn, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for me... I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that women used to deal with infections using things like garlic or other alternative remedies, but I’ve never actually tried that, nor do I know how one would even go about it.

Okay, so... I’m not actually posting this for myself 😁 but for a friend who can't get online right now because her internet was cut off at home 😬

Here’s what’s going on with her: She has totally normal whitish/clear discharge that gets stretchy sometimes (which I know means she's in her fertile window 😍), and the smell is usually fine. But, since she has a desk job where she basically sits all day without moving much, she notices things start to smell a bit funky down there—but only while she's at work. Once she’s home or up and moving around, everything feels perfectly fine again. Also, during sex, she gets some pain near her ovaries (just at the beginning before she’s fully lubricated). So, she’s just wondering if this is all actually normal? I already know the first thing people are gonna say is to go see a gynecologist 🤣, but she really just wants to hear your thoughts. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, or maybe tell her if it sounds like nothing to worry about? 🤷 Kisses 😍

Look, I'm definitely no expert and I honestly have no clue what's actually going on, but it wouldn't hurt to try putting a tampon soaked in Acedofil in 2 or 3 times a day for a few days. Or maybe you could try wrapping a clove of garlic in gauze (even though it'll smell absolutely terrible 🤣 ) and leaving it in for a few hours... I mean, I don't know if it'll work, but I know it helped me when I was dealing with stinging and extra discharge. Now that I think about it, I get brown discharge too, but only during my fertile days and usually just for one day. Last month I didn't have it at all after I used the Acedofil, so whether that actually fixed it or not, I really don't know. But hey, it shouldn't hurt you at all, and it might just help. 😉

But seriously, why not just see your own gynecologist or your primary care doctor? This sounds serious enough that you shouldn't be ignoring it.

I just realized what this post was about... :/ I managed to get a private consultation, but of course, on the exact day I went, my discharge was totally normal, so nothing showed up on the lab tests... The doctor gave me Polygynax, but that’s only going to help while I'm actively using it; once I finish the treatment, everything will probably just go right back to how it was 😢. I’ve heard about that famous garlic trick 😁 before, but I'm not entirely clear on what you meant by that... please explain it to me... How exactly would you wrap it in gauze? My main concern would be whether other people would be able to smell the garlic on me?? (Or should it be washed out first?) Should I just place the garlic near the vaginal opening and use the gauze like a pad? And does it matter which type of Acedofil I use? I hadn't even thought of that, so thanks for the advice 😁. I’ve read through this entire thread and noticed several women mentioned having strange brown discharge after sex... But it seems like nobody really knows what it is either... I’m going to give this a shot and let you know how it goes!

I've been taking birth control pills, and this month my period just stopped right after the 3rd pill. I had sex on the 5th, but I've been dealing with this discharge ever since my menstruation ended. It’s white and quite thick—it actually leaves these clumpy bits on my underwear. Sometimes it even dries near the edges and looks almost exactly like white (or maybe pale yellow) liquid concealer. I did some digging online and read that this can be totally normal at the beginning or end of a cycle, but I’m currently on the 11th pill and it’s still happening. During sex yesterday, it left a milky white trace on my partner's penis (we're certain it was mine). He is my first and only partner, and I've been with him exclusively too; all my previous checkups with gynecologists and the Pope have come back perfectly fine. Please help!
By the way, does anyone happen to know more about smegma in women?

Help 😢

Over the last couple of months, I’ve noticed this strange discharge appearing about a week after my period ends. It’s mostly clear, but filled with these tiny white, beige, or pinkish cottage cheese-like clumps 😕 that usually last for a day or a day and a half.

I have an appointment with my OB-GYN next week because I've been dealing with some pretty intense discharge issues lately—it feels like I'm never actually dry. My concern is that by the time I see the doctor, that specific clumpy texture will have vanished and turned into something else, leaving me unsure of how to describe it since they won't see it firsthand.

What could this be, and should I ask them to run a full panel of four swabs?

I'm also not sure if it matters that my last checkup showed some microcysts. Plus, I can't really use my discharge to track ovulation anymore, and my cycles have been getting longer, now stretching to about 33–35 days.😢

What kind of pads are you using?

swiftfox72 said:Today I noticed some small, but very clear, traces of blood in my discharge. 😕

The discharge itself is a sort of beige color—I’m not quite sure how else to describe it—but other than that, I haven't noticed anything else particularly unusual.

My period ended about 4 or 5 days ago, though it actually lasted a little longer than my usual cycle.

About a month ago, I dealt with a bacterial infection, which seems to be something I struggle with quite frequently.

I had my last pelvic exam three months ago and everything was fine, and my most recent Pap test was done about a year ago.

Do you think I have any reason to worry?

Thanks. 🙂

If the discharge is that color or brownish, and since your period just ended a few days ago, it could honestly just be leftover blood.

And you mentioned having an infection, so that could be a factor too.
Discharge like that happens all the time due to ovarian inflammation or something similar.

Try drinking some cranberry tea or pick up some vaginal suppositories.😉

Charles Fowler73 said:Guys, I need help!!!! I’m an 18-year-old woman. I’ve been dealing with white discharge that has this weird, sweet smell. It happens every single day, not just during ovulation. I haven't had any sexual intercourse, my period is regular, and I actually went in for a checkup where they told me everything looked normal. Sometimes it gets itchy and my vulva looks red. Since I’m not sexually active, the doctor didn't take a cervical swab, just a vaginal one, and prescribed Rivanol cream. I don't get how the results can be "normal" if I'm clearly having issues with this discharge—is there any chance the tests were wrong? I honestly have no clue what this could be. If anyone knows the answers to this, I’d really appreciate it :S

If the discharge is white, it's most likely Candida albicans—a fungus.
It can happen because your immune system is down or maybe you've been on antibiotics.
Or, it could be E. coli from your digestive tract.
Go buy some vaginal suppositories.

Can someone explain what an increase in clear discharge—or "clear white" (though occasionally it’s a creamy white, but rarely)—might mean if there's no specific odor? It's not ovulation. Has anyone else dealt with this? 🤷

I've been dealing with this for a few days now. It’s super creamy, white, doesn't really have an odor, and there's plenty of it. I’m due for my period in about two days, so who knows? I haven't had any stinging or anything like that, but I honestly think I just irritated my lining by using regular soap. I switched to a specific intimate wash because of it. Really hoping it isn't something else going on. 🤷

I’ll quote myself here since I’m starting to get seriously annoyed by this discharge that just won't quit. Today, it felt like it was literally flowing out of me. No gross smells, no itching, and I’ve been using specific care products, but still. It’s never been like this before—to the point where I’m actually starting to wonder if my partner went on a little "side trip" without telling me... yikes. Anyway, lately, it feels more watery than it did at first. Anyone have any clue what's going on?

I was supposed to get my period two days ago, but nothing yet,
instead I’m just getting this watery discharge, kind of a grayish-green color,
it's definitely not the usual white stuff, so what's the deal?
ps. I tried sleeping with my boyfriend for the first time about a week ago,
we didn't break the hymen or anything, could that have anything to do with it???

Help! 😲

I'm certainly no medical expert, but I've read quite a bit in this thread, and most of the women here suggest that very watery discharge could be Candida... I think someone mentioned earlier in the discussion that Candida can stem from a weakened immune system rather than being passed on by a partner. Though, obviously, it's always better to just drop by the gynecologist to be sure.

Go see a gynecologist. It sounds like it could be an infection.

Well, I went, and yeah, turns out I have an infection. The doctor prescribed some Macmiror vaginal suppositories,
but honestly, I have zero clue how to actually use them. I'm kinda freaking out, so I haven't even started yet.🤷

Also, they found a clear cyst about 1.5 inches on one of my ovaries. Is that dangerous? 😲

You're probably going to have to check with Gina about the specifics on how to handle the cleaning part.

You should use the vaginalettes right before you hit the sack (they melt, then start leaking out—doing it while you sleep means less mess and they work better). Wet them slightly with some water so they slide in easier, then pack them in just like a tampon. If you have an applicator for them, even better; you can get them in deeper. Just moisten the tablet a bit, pop it into the applicator, slide it in, and squeeze. It’s done in a flash. Seriously, it's not rocket science.🙂

thanks 🙂,
I somehow managed to get it in while lying down,
since I've seriously never used tampons before,
and I'm still a virgin, so everything feels kind of awkward—plus I don't even have an applicator,
so I just sort of shoved it in there. It probably won't even work,
but whatever, life happens. 🙄
