I don't know how you handle pills, and I haven't tried the ones from CVS myself, but I think some girls mentioned that the Solgar ones have twice the dosage of Natural Wealth. I believe people here said the CVS brands are fine to take.😉

Thanks... I guess I'll have to take a much closer look at everything then. 😉

If the left one’s working fine, you should be good—honestly. My mom actually had a cyst burst when she was 14, and it took out the whole ovary with it—she almost died from the bleeding... but hey, she still ended up having two kids later on. Obviously, everyone's body is different, but if your OB-GYN says the left side is normal, I don't see why you wouldn't get pregnant.

Has anyone else noticed that EVINE DROPS aren't even the same anymore? Like, seriously... I grabbed a new bottle at the pharmacy yesterday and when I took them, they felt way weaker—thank God I still had my old box left so I could actually compare the ingredients. And get this...
old box (bought a month ago): agnus castus fruit 100%, drops contain 60% ethyl alcohol.... take 40 drops in the morning

NEW BOX (bought yesterday): lady's mantle (alchemilla vulgaris, herb) 90%, AGNUS CASTUS FRUIT (agnus castus, fructus) 10%, drops contain 60% ethyl alcohol.... take 30 drops in the morning—which means you're getting way less of the actual fruit, like 20 mg less than the old stuff!!!

Hi, I’ve been reading through the first 7 or 8 pages because I started getting this dull ache near my right ovary, and I began wondering if maybe it could be cysts.
My symptoms are basically this: a dull pain after sitting for a long time (like 2 hours), or if I sit with my legs crossed. That pain kind of radiates down my leg, so I often find myself taking a pill or just walking around to see if it helps. My periods are regular. This pain stays with me constantly if I sit too long; it isn't just happening during ovulation (I know what that sharp stabbing sensation feels like). Over the last month, even having sex has become painful in any position—not to the point of being unbearable, but it definitely kills my libido just thinking about the discomfort.
Aside from that, I've had perfect skin my whole life, but over the last month, I've been dealing with issues I've never had before. Also, I've been needing to pee very frequently, though it doesn't actually hurt when I go.
What do you all think? Is there a chance it might be a cyst?
The pain is always on the right side!

My last period started on July 25th, lasted 6 days (it came about 18 days after the one before 🙂)... My breasts have been hurting non-stop for like 25 days straight, and then my ovary started aching 4 days before... but I didn't ovulate. On the night my period arrived (July 25th), the whole left side of my pelvis felt swollen, like I was going to pass out, plus nausea... Has anyone else dealt with this? It’s never happened to me and I’m totally panicking. Now I'm already 2 days late and the pain and swelling just come and go. Since I've never seen a gynecologist before, I can't even get an appointment until September and then I have to wait my turn 🙂... Plus, the discharge is just unbearable 🤷 so inconsistent (sometimes looks like my infertile days, then suddenly watery, then after sex it's like during ovulation)... I searched online but couldn't find any actual quality info ☕... I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but the panic is real... I really hope someone can help me explain what might be happening. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hey everyone.
They diagnosed me with a clear cyst on my left ovary—about the size of my fist. I’m headed in soon to get my tumor markers checked. My OB/GYN warned me that this thing could rupture, which would cause bleeding, and that if it does pop, I’ll pass out immediately. My GP also mentioned that if it ruptures, the pain will be intense and I'll experience some vaginal bleeding; apparently, it’s actually "better" if it happens during my period. I get that the gynecologist had to cover her bases legally, but I want to know—has anyone dealt with something similar? Did you end up in the ER?
Thanks 🙂

Hey,

Don't stress too much about whether it's going to pop or not. Just try to get an ultrasound with color Doppler done by a specialist at a hospital as soon as possible so they can see exactly what's going on with the CA 125 levels. In my case, they thought I just had a cyst for six months, but it turned out to be a tumor the size of a hand—so from my experience, a cyst that size almost certainly means surgery.

I recently went through the surgery myself...

Basically, if it does rupture, the pain is excruciating, and you'll definitely need to make an immediate trip to the Emergency Room.

And yeah, I don't think that happens all that frequently. I’d suggest heading to the hospital for an exam right away; they'll tell you what the next steps are.

Try not to worry too much, just focus on getting the ball rolling on getting this sorted out...

Thanks. I might just wait for the markers, or maybe head to a private clinic for a Doppler. We'll see. Thanks. 🙂

Rebecca James3, seriously though, what kind of doctor were you seeing? I honestly can't believe someone actually fed you that nonsense—the idea that you'd pass out if a cyst ruptures? Like, how could anyone possibly know that? Most of the time, a cyst just pops and you don't even feel a thing. And honestly, trying to measure something by "fist size" is such an exaggeration too. Just from my own experience, I'd really recommend heading in for a color Doppler right after your period ends... that way you'll know exactly how big the cyst is, what's actually going on, and what steps you need to take next. Those markers are really just indicators that, when paired up with the Doppler, help figure out which therapy you should be using. And hey, who knows, maybe the cyst already ruptured and you didn't even realize it.

Well, it isn't nonsense! In my case, they told me there was a cyst on my right ovary, but it turned out to be a tumor on the left. I went for five different color Dopplers, and honestly, they just aren't reliable. You don't truly see the full picture until things actually open up... and it turns out it was a tumor the size of a hand...

But regardless, it's definitely a good idea for her to get an ultrasound so her doctor can recommend the best way forward.

It really depends on what kind of cyst we're talking about. If you’re dealing with something like an endometriotic cyst, for instance—you can't just brush that off—you might actually need urgent surgery. It's definitely not something to take lightly... things can escalate pretty quickly, leading to things like vomiting or even passing out...

Did they mention they might suspect an endometriotic cyst? I had one that was like 10 cm—it actually ruptured and the fluid started leaking into my abdominal cavity. I puked six times in a really short window and the pain was just brutal. It happened while I was traveling, so I didn't get surgery until a few days later. At the ER, all they gave me on that first day was a single pain injection.

My water broke, thanks to some meds. No pain involved, just this intense bloating sensation—it got stronger and stronger, then suddenly, that was it. 🙂

She didn't tell me if it was pure or what—just that she had it. I'm hoping it’s diluted or something.

Started bleeding on Monday—turns out my period was two and a half weeks late. At first, it was this weird reddish-brown, almost blackish color, then it turned light with some mucus mixed in. There was also this strange smell—kind of like pus. It hurt just like a normal period, and my stomach felt flatter and smaller, plus I wasn't peeing as often. It lasted four days, so I scheduled an ultrasound for day six of my cycle, just like the doctor told me to. During the bleeding, I felt this slight stinging sensation and a few sharp little jabs near my left ovary. Yesterday, I felt bloated again and had that familiar ache—like I’m about to start my period all over again.
I’m counting down the days until Wednesday—hoping they finally tell me it’s either gone or at least shrunk.

Even if I have an endometriotic cyst and it starts leaking, at least I know I can handle the pain—I’ve already dealt with the agony of an inflamed appendix that was so swollen it nearly burst. It ended in emergency surgery.

Okay, maybe I was totally in the wrong place before (I was posting in the thread about Provera, which I'm currently taking), so I figured it might be better to ask here. So, after going three months without my period (my cycle has been irregular for the last few years, mostly due to stress and being overweight), I went to see my OB-GYN. He found a clear cyst on my right ovary about 4 cm long and told me that if I take Provera for the next 10 days, I’ll definitely get my period. Well, today is already day 10, and there is absolutely no sign of my period. To make matters worse, the day before yesterday (day 8), I felt this massive pain right where that right ovary is—it felt like someone took a knife and just stabbed me. It was so intense that I actually ran a fever and started vomiting (plus, I had started sneezing the day before). Since then, the pain has vanished. Last night, I noticed some brownish discharge and a bit of mucus, but it’s nowhere near what my period usually looks like. Should I start worrying and head back to the doctor? Because, honestly, I'm heading into my fourth month without a period. 🤷

That stabbing pain everyone talks about? That’s usually what happens when things just snap. It might even be that discharge you're seeing—it's basically a sign that something's broken. Look, just call your doctor right now, get some actual advice, and tell them exactly what happened.

So, back on October 24th, I went for an ultrasound because of some lower abdominal pain, frequent urination, and bowel issues. Everything looked fine on the scan—nothing unusual. I also had my PAP done, which was okay, just some slight changes in my flora. My hormones were normal too.
They told me to get a urine culture and an abdominal ultrasound. The urine culture came back clear. But I just had the abdominal ultrasound this past Thursday (December 4th), and they found a 7x5.5 cm cyst on my right ovary.
The pain is actually worse than before now. It’s the whole right side—from my ovary all the way up to my kidney, my spine, and even down my leg. Turns out, it's a corpus luteum cyst.

Is it even possible for it to grow that fast in just a month? I saw the same gynecologist again that same day (December 4th) right after the ultrasound, and she said I just need to monitor it and come back after my period. But then, that very evening, I started bleeding—just a light flow—and the pain feels similar to when I'm on my period, though the stuff near my kidney and spine calmed down a bit.
She told me to head straight to the ER if I get sudden, intense pain accompanied by vomiting... I haven't hit that level of pain yet, but this bleeding is messing with me since I wasn't supposed to start my period for another 10 days.

What do you guys think?

And what the hell was causing my pain before the first ultrasound on October 24th if there wasn't a cyst back then?

Hey everyone, could I get some help or advice?
So, I've been dealing with PCOS for four years now. I was on Belar for a year, and it’s been nearly a year since I stopped taking them...

My cycle usually runs about 35+ days, but over the last two or three months, I started taking Vitex. My second-to-last period (maybe because of the Vitex?) arrived right on day 28. However, about two weeks later—just a week after my period ended—I had intense abdominal cramps and then started bleeding heavily. The bleeding lasted five days. I immediately scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ginić. With my PCOS, having a period arrive only 14 days after the last one just doesn't feel right. An ultrasound revealed a 6cm cyst. According to the doctor, it formed because a blood vessel ruptured, causing blood to pool into a cyst.

The doctor suggested we wait one cycle and then come back after my next period to see how things look. What I'm wondering is, what happens if the cyst doesn't resolve on its own? Would surgery be necessary, considering this isn't a simple fluid-filled cyst, but one filled with blood?
I'm a bit confused, and I didn't think to ask him all of this because I was mostly just reeling from the news that I have a 6cm mass inside my ovary... 🤔

About a month ago, during a routine abdominal color Doppler ultrasound, they happened to discover that I have polycystic ovaries. Up until that point, I’ve never had any issues with my ovaries. Four months ago, I suffered a miscarriage, and during a follow-up exam, they found a single fluid-filled cyst on my ovary, which eventually cleared up. At my next checkup, there was no sign of a cyst and everything looked perfectly normal—only for this to pop up by chance during an abdominal scan. I deal with daily lower abdominal pain; it's symmetrical on both sides right where the ovaries are located. The pain isn't intense, but it's a constant, dull ache. It tends to flare up when I strain or bend over. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? Is it actually possible for ovaries to suddenly become polycystic if they were never identified as such before?

So, I finally picked up my lab results today. My CA 125 is sitting at 188 and my 19-9 is at 68... honestly, I feel like I'm in a coma right now. 😔
