Well, why don't you just get them tailored? Fabric plus a seamstress equals perfection $67, and they'll be custom fit. Besides, Macy's can do that too.

I saw this absolutely darling shirt-dress today at Amadeus—it was linen, you know? But they were down to just a size 46 left by the time I got there. I picked it up over at the Spanish Market.

.. honestly, I don't know. A few times I've gone to a tailor, but only when I've known weeks in advance what I needed. In reality, I have this totally irrational impulse to just walk into a store and buy whatever catches my eye. 😳

Pants, shirts... the sizing just keeps climbing—Marks & Spencer. My struggle there is finding anything in a smaller size. Their stuff follows that classic fashion mold; a bit pricier, sure, but the quality holds up.👍

C&A—if you're looking for larger sizes, it’s actually worth making the trip over to Austria or Canada since they're closer to you anyway. They carry much more substantial pieces, but they also have great stuff for younger crowds (and they use the same sizing models from S to XL 🙂 ). I personally wear larger sizes and have a fuller bust, so finding their tops was a total lifesaver for me. Their summer collection is decent right now; t-shirts run anywhere from about $5 to $15.

When I'm in the city, I usually hit up Marks & Spencer for tees—though you can find larger sizes at Nam—especially if you look through the Liscine collection. I also picked up some long-sleeved shirts at Amadeus last fall; who knows if they’ve switched to summer stock in bigger sizes yet? Just grabbed a few XXL shirts from Ledy over on Tratinska today, $50 they're actually pretty great...
Plus, whenever I'm traveling abroad, I make sure to hunt for deals. Like the girls mentioned, C&A, H&M, and Ulla Popken are solid finds in Austria. Just a heads-up though... if you're shopping at Ulla Popken, grab one size smaller than usual 🙂

I'm looking for pretty much anything except Maxi Poker, Gjuro XL, or those random mail-order catalogs...

You can find some stuff at the Marks & Spencer over by the waterfront—it goes up to size 22 (which I think is about a US 18, if I'm guessing right)—and you might actually snag a decent piece of clothing without breaking the bank too much

I have never come across anything quite that significant at Target or Walmart, at least not hanging on the racks. I never thought to ask, though perhaps they might have pulled something from the back or some stockroom area for me....

Lady XXL is currently out there somewhere between the local CVS and the downtown flea market. It’s a bit cheaper than Poker, but honestly, the selection isn't much to write home about.

Anyway, they probably have some in stock (though maybe not every single style), but you should probably check when their next shipment arrives..

I barely managed to find a slightly more modern "boutique" where they custom-made a top and a long tunic for my wedding. And I paid $533 three years ago—it was one designer who happens to be pretty pricey...

I know Nataša Jeletić works on a per-project basis, but she isn't cheap either.
