I checked it out too—definitely looking great for a wedding. What size did you end up grabbing? I’d probably need a 50, but I guess I'm not totally sure how those gathers at the waist would actually look on me.

Ordering it next week. Torn between the US size 6 or 8—not sure what the exact conversion is here... maybe a small or medium? I'm leaning toward the smaller one because the measurements look spot on, but I'm paranoid about it being too tight. Might just grab the larger size and take it in myself if it's too big. I know my way around a sewing machine. How long does shipping usually take from Amazon? It's my first time ordering.

btw. There's a shorter version that's way cuter, but I can't be bothered dealing with pale legs in May.🙂

The dress is lovely, truly—but nothing about it works for me. Those pleats? They just don't play nice with a peplum or those front extensions. I’d much prefer a short, crisp blouse—maybe paired with a blazer. This style is just far too overdressed for my taste.

Need advice and suggestions on what to wear over it. The wedding is in May, so it'll be chilly and I need some kind of layer. Is a blazer too formal? I'm looking at this or this

I have the exact same dress, except mine is shorter—just below the knee. 🙂 It's really comfy and unique 🙂

I wore a black blazer over mine, totally professional vibes, with those horizontal youthful cutouts on the shoulders and it worked great 👍 Down below, I paired it with these black sandals.

A shorter dress looks great, and honestly, I prefer it too... but the issue is my pale legs. Nobody’s going to see them in the May sun, so I ended up deciding on a longer one instead. I'll have to hunt for a blazer to throw over it... just figure out some combo. Thanks for the advice. A pashmina isn't exactly practical when you're juggling two little kids, especially since I won't be able to drape it around myself while holding one of them.

I don't get why you're worried about pale legs (no matter the month). They should be tanned, right? If you prefer them lighter, just buy a shorter pair. 🙂

And if they really need to be tan, you could try creams, oils, sprays, or tanning lotions. There are so many good ones out there now, unlike back in the day when everyone just left ugly orange streaks all over their bodies. Artdeco, for instance, has a leg spray in several shades that looks totally natural.

I'm breastfeeding, so I'm not interested in tanning chemicals. Plus, since we're outdoors in the sun every day, and it won't be warm enough until May, my face and hands will have color, but my legs won't. The difference will be obvious because I tan quickly, so a long dress is better.😉

Haha, once you get there, then I'll agree—better to just avoid unnecessary stuff. 🙂

Need help figuring out my dress size... I heard ASOS curve dresses run bigger than their actual sizing, so I’m looking for some insight if anyone has experience here. I'm torn between a UK 18 and a UK 20. My measurements—bare, no bra or clothes—are 108cm bust, 97cm waist, and 120cm hips. Looking at 's version of these dresses, the bust seems to be the main factor, which puts me in a bind. Based on the numbers, a 20 might be safer since I don't want anything too tight, but if they really do run large, it might end up being way too big. I've read through all the ASOS threads and I'm still just as lost as when I started. 🤦

Yeah, Marks & Spencer—they go up to a size 16.

My bust is 107 cm, so I usually grab a UK 16 in the regular line—though, mind you, almost everything I buy has some stretch. A friend of mine who typically orders a UK 18 or 20 in the Curve line actually has a bust around 115-120 cm. I’d suggest going with the UK 18; I've seen enough feedback to know that an ASOS Curve 18 is definitely roomier than a standard 18.😉 A UK 20 would almost certainly swallow you whole.

Thanks, if I was even thinking about it. Even if an 18 ends up being too big, I can always take it in. You said 42 inches... I'm at 42.5, so maybe an 18 will be loose on me too. How does the math actually work with these measurements? If my bust is 42.5 and the size 18 dress says it fits a 42.5, does that mean I need to size up, or is the dress actually my size?

Well, I have a 120+ cm bust and I've always gone with a size 20—so you definitely won't need to go that high 😁

I need some help, so I'm quoting a post from another thread:

I’m looking for knee-length or 3/4 length cotton pants. Think sweatpants style. They can have elastic cuffs at the bottom or not. Old or new, I don't care—just nothing tight like leggings. The size needs to match a US 14/16. Don't bother trying to sell me smaller sizes because I'm strictly looking for specific measurements. Please DM me offers including photos and exact measurements (waist width: laid flat and fully stretched; hips: laid flat and fully stretched; plus the leg length, both outer seam and inseam). Since I'm being picky about the fit, send a photo first so I can see if I actually like the style. I'm on a strict budget, so please keep prices low. If you have multiple pairs, you'll have priority. I'm offering up to $10 per pair, or I'm open to trading for some of my items (message me for a link to my listings).

Something like this:

Ladies, does anyone know if you can use a Maestro debit card to pay in installments at stores like Macy's or Kohl's?
Thanks 😉

I saw this killer black and white zebra print jumpsuit. I'm tall and wear a US size 20, so I have to ask—is it brave to pull that off with a long cardigan over it, or just a bad idea?
I'd love to see some actual women's clothing offered in stores for once...
