Oh, and if you’re around on Saturday, Samobor—wait, I mean, maybe check out the local fair in Dayton? Definitely worth a look. Honestly, you could even find some good stuff down at Miller’s if you’re looking to browse.

So, I’ve been on a bit of a mission lately trying to figure out who actually handles zipper repairs for wallets. See, I have this one wallet—it's honestly gorgeous and fits everything perfectly—but the zipper just gave up on me. It snapped, and now the whole thing is basically useless. If anyone happens to know a good repair shop or a specialist who deals with this kind of stuff, I would be incredibly grateful.

I checked out the selection at Target, but it was pretty underwhelming. I’m really aiming for something in the 1,000 to 2,000 piece range featuring an abstract design
(Not necessarily landscapes, cities, or that sort of thing...

I remember there used to be a shop specializing in all sorts of brain teasers over in the gallery district, and I’ve poked around some Barnes & Noble locations too—though those are usually a poor choice

I think most physical back issues just get recycled—which is a shame, really—but plenty of major papers maintain digital archives now. You can usually find an article online and just print it out. For instance, the New York Times has a massive archive, though you’ll likely have to pay for a subscription to get in there.

It really depends on which paper you're hunting for. If you're lucky, you might be able to reach out to the layout or graphics department at a local press; they tend to keep electronic files of everything they produce, so you might be able to snag a PDF to print.

With the big national dailies, it's a bit of an uphill battle—not impossible, but definitely more work—but for smaller local papers? A quick email should do it. Honestly, I suspect most people would be happy to help you out with something as sweet as this.

I’m looking to print out some flag pictures from the web for my kid, but I am hitting a total brick wall trying to find a decent site to actually 'download' them from... I’ve messed around with all sorts of Google filters, but it’s just endless pages of tiny thumbnails, low-res scraps of posters, or just random bits and pieces of flags. What I’m really after is something more substantial—like a decent-sized, full-color A3 poster that actually includes the names of the countries.

Does anyone happen to have something like this tucked away in their files they could send over, or maybe you could point me toward a reliable website? Honestly, I thought this would be a total piece of cake, but I’m starting to feel a little bit frustrated 🤦 🙂 so I’m reaching out everywhere I can for a hand... thanks! 🙏
