I checked that site too. Still a total dead end. Out of those 30 links, maybe two actually mention vacuums, but none of them have what I'm looking for. There's a similar model at Best Buy, but the only issue is they're on the complete opposite side of town and I don't have a car.

America is one of those rare places where you can't get exactly what you want, even when you know precisely what it is. And it's not just about vacuums—it applies to phones, MP3 players, and pretty much everything else under the sun.

Is Kišobrani Sviben still a thing? Does it even exist anymore?

So why not just pick up something else? There are hundreds of them out there. I don't see what makes this specific one so special.🤷

I've got two myself. One's just a standard one, a Liv Optimo or something—it gets the job done, that's my main one. Then there's the Worwerk for
8 $0.00 for dry cleaning carpets and mattresses; no water involved. I take pretty good care of that thing.
Point being, you have more than enough options. This second one I picked up came after seeing a presentation and having it delivered.

And yeah, I asked if they offer delivery. Some shops in the area do, if you're dead set on that specific model.
Not sure how things work over in NYC.

Good luck with the shopping.👍

Look, I’m being blunt because I don't see the point in dancing around it. I stalled on those other models because they’re budget options with decent dust filters—and I deal with serious allergies. But then I saw you basically have to walk on broken glass just to get near those specific vacuums. At this point, I'm just going to buy the exact one I want, even if it costs me an arm and a leg. It's an obsession. Call it what you want.

Honestly, the best-case scenario would be finding out the vacuum is actually garbage once I finally get my hands on it.

Thanks 😉

VIS umbrellas are top-tier 🙏

I had mine for years, right up until I left it on the Greyhound 🙂 😵

Ugh, allergies are just the worst. And honestly? It feels like every vacuum cleaner out there just spits fine dust right back through the filter—that invisible stuff that gets everywhere.

The expensive one I picked up is supposedly "allergy-friendly" because it uses a different kind of dust collection system. It’s even got a dedicated air filter. Luckily, we don't have any allergy sufferers in our house, so it doesn't really matter to us.

Maybe you should look around and see if there are others specifically designed for people with sensitivities.
I know doctors usually give all these instructions for them—stay off the carpets, ditch the heavy curtains, use a damp cloth to wipe away dust instead of vacuuming or sweeping, since those just kick the dust back into the air.

Anyway, you'll probably find something that works.😉

Honestly, I wouldn't bother buying it. It’s pretty garbage, and mine is just sitting in my closet right now🤣 because the suction feels okay for maybe the first thirty seconds, but then it just completely dies on you.🤣 So, yeah, I ended up switching back to the most basic kind, the ones with the bags.

I am personally unsure if anyone here carries that specific brand of tobacco locally, though I usually manage to procure mine while traveling through Turkey. One really ought to have a reliable connection with our folks working out near the Middle East 🙂

On another note, I find myself curious about a different matter entirely. Specifically, I was wondering if it is true that smoking a hookah in a public space within America is considered illegal. Does anyone happen to know if this is indeed the case?

A Samsonite umbrella.
I've been going through the wringer for years now. It’s just one thing after another.

Hehe, it’s a pretty sweet setup, but it’s sitting at about $333 which honestly feels like a bit of a stretch, don't you think? 🙂

It was a few years back, actually. I picked up that little black folding umbrella for about $67 at the department store near Times Square. But honestly, I have absolutely no clue where to find a Samsonite these days. You should check here: .

I really need one like that, as long as it's foldable and actually sturdy...
I absolutely hate lugging those massive umbrellas around, I'd honestly rather just get soaked than carry one all day...
I've already gone through maybe six or seven of those cheap little folding ones this season because the wind picks up and they just snap...
Maybe I'll just go ahead and grab a Samsonite so I don't have to worry about it anymore...😍

hey, so, looking for a globe. needs to be actually decent, not some cheap crap you'd find at a gas station in middle-of-nowhere Ohio. anyone know a spot around here? maybe somewhere online I can order from, but it better not be shipping from halfway across the world just so I get hit with a massive international shipping fee. i kind of need it ASAP.

help me out, thanks.🙂

You know when you go down to the local Target or maybe that big Staples to pick up some school supplies and all that nonsense... I was there earlier and saw those globes...

Give the local Staples a shot. You might find a printer there, or maybe check out the office supply shop near the community college or over by the downtown business district.
