Mardi is coming up soon and I’m feeling a bit of a dark aesthetic vibe.
Since my hair isn't naturally dark, I'm on the hunt for some black hair spray. I have zero interest in actually dyeing my hair just for a holiday. I’ve seen all sorts of colors floating around—greens, oranges, you name it—but I haven't run into any black lately.
If anyone knows where I can pick some up, please let me know.
THANKS IN ADVANCE 🙂)

I'm not sure about the lacquer... but what’s your take on those colored shampoos? 😁 They tend to wash out after just a few rinses 😬

I'm honestly not even sure if they make them in black 🤔

So, what, you’re just gonna buy a wig—like a costume mask for the occasion? I'm pretty sure they have those masquerade wigs sitting on shelves in stores somewhere.

And hair lacquers... I think they're all colorless. You've got foams and stuff, but as for black spray? Doesn't seem to exist.

They have it in black. I tried it once and ended up looking gray. Maybe I didn't use enough of the stuff.

If I can't find the polish, I might give that a shot.

I'm really not a fan of perukes. Not my thing at all.
Maybe I should dye my hair. It might make the whole thing look more convincing.

Yeah, those local guys are putting out the colors right now. Just in time for Mardi Gras.
I mean, if there's a loud green color, then black has to be in there somewhere too.😂😂

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up some spitke in the Split area?
Ideally, I’d prefer something that isn't the genuine article, just because the prices on the originals seem a bit excessive for what they are.

In case nobody recognizes them, I've attached a photo below. I think I could probably track down both versions😁

the first one

the second one

Oh, and just so you know, I haven't had any luck finding them at the local farmers market🙄.

Does anyone happen to know where I could pick up that specific mask from Friday the 13th here in the States? The one this guy is wearing:

You can probably find that at Eurosport or one of those similar retail chains—it’s just a hockey jersey, after all. If you happen to be in the city, head over to Medved and grab one there. 🙂

That’s just an old hockey mask... and honestly, you don't see players wearing gear like that anymore...
I just don't have the energy to deal with ordering anything through eBay right now... especially since that whole situation with the site's reliability and those endless, frustrating delays... and honestly, I simply haven't got the time for it at the moment...
Does anyone happen to know where I might find a decent deal on a mask like this... or perhaps something similar? If you have any leads on where they're affordable, please let me know...

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up a small electric air compressor (standard US outlet)?
I need it to blow the dust out of my keyboard, PC fans, and stuff like that...
Just for some light maintenance work, really.🙂

Trampoline

I'm on the hunt for a mini-trampoline, looking for something about 3 feet in diameter. Does anyone know where I could pick one up here in the States? Specifically looking in the Chicago area if possible.
Thanks!

Is this kind of thing even possible to get in America?

Check out these categories:
cuboro-marble run
And you'll see the cugolino starter kit—basically, the cuboro basic set is what you're after.
(Price is honestly a steal 🙏)

I don't really have any idea how I’m supposed to go about starting a thread like this, but here goes nothing, I suppose.
Basically, I’m on the hunt for some kind of LED floodlight—nothing fancy, really—that I could just mount here and there to light up the backyard if, you know, someone happens to be out there late at night having a drink or whatever.

Something along these lines, maybe:

I need it to run on standard 120V power, and if possible, I’d really prefer something with a warm light temperature; I absolutely cannot stand that harsh, clinical white light that feels like it’s staring right into your soul and giving you a massive headache.

Just a standard 150W halogen floodlight for $17 or whatever else works for you?

This uses way less power 😁—honestly, I don't think there are any LEDs that actually put out a decent, warm glow. I remember seeing some sort of little attachment you can pop onto an LED bulb to make the light look more natural, but I can't dig up the link for it right now.

So, I happened to stumble upon these LEDs that supposedly put out a warm light at around 6000K, though I suppose calling that "warm" might be a bit of a stretch depending on how you look at it, I guess.

You’ll want an LED bulb in the 2700 to 3000 K range—that’s what gives you that warm, yellowish glow. If you go with 6000 K, you’re looking at a cold white light, which might feel a bit clinical, I guess. You might want to check out Unitrgu in Chicago—they import a lot of those Chinese LED "toys," and they usually ship them via fast delivery. Now, if energy efficiency is actually a priority for you—though maybe it isn't—you could look into a Commel energy-saving reflector on a stand. If you browse their site, they have a set of three warm-colored bulbs. You can usually find them at most big-box retailers for about 240 to $100 USD

Where can I find those clear laundry clips? I saw them once, but they weren't sold on their own—they were all bundled up with the colorful ones. Does anyone know if you can buy just the clear ones in their own packaging, without all the extra colors mixed in?
