They carry just about everything, from the standard stuff to more specialized options.

thanks 👍

Does anyone actually know where I can hunt down some thinner red onions that won't take up the whole damn container?

A friend of mine just got a promotion, and I’m looking to pick up a plush teddy bear wearing a graduation cap and holding a diploma. Does anyone know where I can track one down?

Great question. The closest thing I can think of are those little wind-up gadgets they have in some of the gift shops at Macy's—you turn the crank and a tiny tune plays. They usually have a decent stock, maybe a dozen or so. Might be a solid Plan B?
Also, try asking the folks working the gift shops; they might actually know something.

I’ve got two music boxes myself and zero clue how they ended up in my house. Pretty sure one came from somewhere near San Francisco and plays Moon River, but the other one? Total mystery. It plays Love Story.

Check the local Walgreens, they should have it if you can't find it in town.🤷

I'm on the hunt for something like this, so if you guys spot it anywhere, please let me know 🙂
- something made right here in the States 😁 goes for $25, but then I look on eBay and there’s Chinese knockoffs going for like $1 including shipping!?

thanks

Does anyone know where I can pick up some red satin by the yard here in St. Louis? To be more specific, I’m looking for satin silk—the soft, delicate kind—in a vibrant red, just like this (hopefully the picture helps):

I’ve already checked out Eurotextile, Marabou, and those fabric shops over by the local market, but I couldn't find this exact material in this color anywhere. Does anyone know of another spot in town where I might be able to find it?

Frankopanska Street, near the tram stop... there’s a shop selling underwear there (Leonardo?).
$20
I saw it in a shop window today.

Does anyone out there actually know where I can snag a massive world map? Like, huge. I’m talking wall-sized, the kind of thing we used to have plastered on the classroom walls back in the day. 😁
It would be absolutely perfect if it was a political map, you know, with all the actual country borders clearly marked out...
Thanks!

So, here’s the situation—my mom has a birthday coming up soon, and since she’s a dedicated smoker, I put together what I thought was the absolute perfect gift combo. But, of course, once I mentioned it, she completely changed her tune.

Basically, she smokes rolling tobacco, so I picked out this really nice silver tin for her—very classy—and I was planning on pairing it with a more budget-friendly Zippo. But the second I hinted at the idea, the interrogation started.

"Why would I need that? I'd never use it. It's too expensive. You're just throwing money away," and blah, blah, blah... you know how it goes.

And honestly, even if I went all out and actually bought the Zippo, I know deep down it would just end up sitting in a drawer somewhere. She wouldn't want to carry it around or mess with it too much, and I’m just not really into buying "display pieces"—I prefer getting things people actually use.

So now, I’m hunting for a better alternative to a Zippo—something cheaper—but the most important thing is that it has to be a butane lighter.

I'm sure they exist in plenty of places, but I really don't feel like driving from shop to shop across town just to hunt down a single lighter. I figured I’d check here to see if anyone has some experience or could recommend a good gift shop or something similar.

Anyway, here is basically my vision of how the set should look:

It doesn't necessarily need to be a jet flame style; I just want it to look sharp without breaking the bank.

If anyone knows a spot where I might actually have some decent variety to choose from, please help a guy out—I'd love to save myself the trek through Chicago.

🙂

Google isn't cutting it. I'm wondering, can you actually pick these pens up in local stores here?
(And if so, which ones been seen on the shelves?)

I’ll probably ask on Reddit too, but

does anyone know where I can pick up an Invicta school backpack? Looking in Seattle—though I wouldn't mind checking around Portland either...😁

hm... is there anywhere (online or maybe in Chicago) to pick up postcards with different themes? I mean—not just cityscapes, but stuff like flowers, animals, kids, etc...
