So, where can I snag a Christmas sweater? (Looking for guys' or women's, though honestly, they're pretty much the same thing when you're talking about these kinds of tops), just classic vibes like you see in all those American movies—you know, the ones with snowflakes, maybe some blue, green, or red patterns... something exactly like this: http://image.shutterstock.com/displa...s-60236884.jpg
🙏 Seriously, I will forever be indebted to anyone who can point me toward where to buy one in the NYC/Chicago/Vegas area. I really need to find one ASAP for a holiday gift.

I mean, I know I could just order one off eBay or whatever, but that’s totally out of the question. I’m just not interested in that kind of shopping, not even a little bit.

Where can I pick up some Black Devil cigarettes? Those are the ones with the vanilla flavor, right?

You can probably find them in the cheaper retail spots. Last year, I think I saw some over at New Yorker... they might have something like this too.🤷

Check the shop over on Gorjanski Street near the Trešnjevka district. If you’re coming down El Paso, look for a little side street right between the T-Mobile and the local bookstore.

A while back—maybe a year or more ago—there was a tobacco shop right by the entrance to the mall, the first one on the right near the stairs.

I actually have a question of my own, too. I’m looking for a bookmark as a gift. Nothing fancy or expensive, just something cute and sweet. Or, if anyone happens to know where I can order a custom one online with a specific picture, maybe? 🙂
Thanks everyone in advance 🙂

Which shop would you recommend if I wanted to pick up something—anything at all—with a genuine 1950s vibe?

Does anyone happen to know where I might track down some interesting calendars for 2012—ideally desk versions if we're lucky?😕

A quick follow-up. Does anyone know of a children's book specifically designed to teach days or dates? Everywhere I look, it’s all clocks, animals, colors, and the usual suspects, but nothing quite hits this specific mark.🤷

Does anyone know where I can find glasses like these, but with the curve on the right side? I think that style would look pretty cool on me. If anyone happens to have a lead, please let me know. Ideally somewhere in the Chicago area. 🙂

Well, I have some like that myself... they’re about twenty years old now.
I’d also be interested to know if there are any other places where they might be available for purchase.

Banana jelly? Like a banana jam or something

Or just any other kind jelly? (For instance, I only ever saw quince jelly at Lidl)

image

What would be the actual American equivalent for "jelly"? ... Jam? Marmalade? ... But that’s not quite right either....

If they don't have it in that specific "jam" style, I'd settle for gummy candies....

But please, nothing lemon or orange... maybe an infusion so I can actually pick my own flavor...
🙂 I tried those candied banana bites once, but they're all foamy and airy.... way far from what a real jelly is like

Hopefully the link opens for you. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pick this up for a better price (it’s for my boyfriend) and what it’s actually called... I forgot the name of that charming soldier 😁
thanks

Brandon White4 said:Does anyone know if those big retail chains carry those tiny little sugar packets, you know, the ones you get at a diner with your coffee? Or is that just something restaurant owners order in bulk straight from the manufacturer? I haven't spotted them anywhere yet, and honestly, it would be such a lifesaver at work so I don't have to lug a whole bag of sugar around in my purse... 😬

There it is—just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. I’m not sure why anyone would bother clicking through to that link. It looks like another one of those outdated web pages from the early 2000s that someone forgot to take down—the kind of thing you'd find buried in the back corners of a Craigslist archive. Honestly, looking at the structure, it feels less like a legitimate business offer and more like a digital ghost town. I remember back when we used to spend hours scouring old forums for niche information, thinking every single URL was a treasure trove. Now, most of these dead ends just feel like a waste of bandwidth. If you're actually looking for what this claims to be, you'll probably have better luck starting from scratch on a modern search engine.
