You might have some luck checking out Stradivarius or Pull & Bear at the mall; prices there are usually around $33. They carry several skinny styles, though if you want to actually enjoy the experience, I’d suggest going on a weekday. It’s much quieter then, so you won't be stuck waiting in line for a fitting room or navigating through total chaos.

On a side note, my sister mentioned that Mustang has some great deals over at Ross, but since I've never stepped foot in one of those stores, I can't say for sure what their selection looks like.

Well, I was actually at Peek today, and it was the exact same story—nothing in my size among the pairs I actually liked. It was always either too tiny or way too huge 🤣 and I was only in there for about half an hour, too!

As for Esprit or Dorothy Perkins, it's all oversized stuff—size 12 and up, basically 🤷😕

But, I ended up scoring some jeans at C&A for $67. They're actually quite good. I’m not a huge fan of their t-shirts—not really my style—but their pants and denim are solid. They don't lose their shape, and honestly, the quality beats places like Urban Republic or New Yorker any day of the week.

I got mine at Benetton—they’re the real deal. I paid $130, which was over five hundred bucks, but honestly? Totally worth every cent. I'm obsessed.

So, I finally picked up some jeans from C&A. Honestly, I must have tried on at least ten different styles—and there were probably another ten just sitting there waiting for me. 🙂 One pair was absolutely perfect, but they didn't have my size in stock, which was such a bummer. In the end, I went with these ones; they feel good so far, though we'll see how they hold up after a few washes and if they stretch out. My biggest gripe, though, is their sizing consistency—it's all over the place. I need a 2 or 4 in one style and then a 6 or 8 in another, even though they're both C&A.
Anyway, does the C&A in a big city like Chicago really have this much variety, or am I just tripping?

Does anyone here actually own a pair of salsa jeans and feel they were a worthwhile investment? I'm curious if they tend to stretch out too quickly, or if they hold their shape after a wash and wear...

I have a few pairs hanging around; I think I posted a photo earlier in that "what did you buy today" thread. They don't really stretch out much, I guess. The only real issue I had—well, my mom actually caused it—was when she threw them in the washer and that brown leather patch on the waistband bled dye all over the pockets. Since then, I just hand wash them, though thankfully the stains eventually came out.

Anyway, I found the photo:

Well, if you head downtown, you’ll find a massive selection of denim—everything from budget-friendly spots to high-end boutiques... $100there are tons of styles to choose from...
I bought a pair at Target once and they stretched out significantly—I grabbed a size 6, but I clearly should have gone with a 4 (you know, the Yessica brand)... meanwhile, with this other brand, the 6 was way too tight, so I actually need a size 8 (I think it's Clock House, if I'm remembering correctly).

thanks🙂

My main concern is simply that they don't lose their shape and start sagging... I've spotted a few styles I really like that happen to be on sale right now. I'm hoping they fit as expected, though I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I tend to be a bit skeptical whenever I see those "booty push-up" labels or similar marketing gimmicks.😁

I picked up a pair of Yessicas a few months back, and they haven't stretched at all—they're actually fantastic. My only real issue was that my cat decided one of the legs was a chew toy while I was busy filing down my nails... total chaos, really.

Push-up boots work 😍
But it’ll be even better once I actually commit to a workout routine 🙂

I own those Wonder Jeans, but they’ve stretched out on me because I was "smart" enough to avoid sizing down. Even though the sales clerk insisted I could fit into the smaller size. It feels foolish to buy pants that are a struggle to pull on, knowing they always stretch out eventually. I just keep making the same mistake 🤷

Is that the Wonder Jeans brand, or are we talking about those Salsa jeans? I can't tell. 🤷 I guess I might actually give those push-up booty jeans a shot.

Those are Salsa jeans. The specific push-up model is called "Wonder." They feature a removable leather patch on the back with an "S" embellished in rhinestones.
Here is what they look like. They come in several colors (first ones shown here):

So, I have a bit of a predicament here—and it’s honestly becoming quite a nuisance. It seems my denim doesn't last longer than a month or two before they inevitably give out right in the crotch area. Just... friction, I suppose. I was wondering if anyone else deals with this particular issue? And more importantly, how on earth did you solve it? If anyone knows of any jeans that are actually durable enough to withstand the wear and tear without costing an absolute fortune, please let me know—it would be a total lifesaver, because this is starting to drive me a little crazy. I’ve already gone through three pairs since September—one from Gap, two from S.Oliver, and even these new ones from Tom Tailor are already showing signs of thinning. People, please... help!

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hey everyone, I could really use some enlightenment here... So, I usually wear a size 8, but I'm seeing these jeans listed as "26'' reg" or "27'' reg." Does anyone know how that works? Which one of those numbers would actually be my size?

I’m wearing a size 40 from Turbo Sport,
dorothy perkins 10
C&A 38
Mustang 29/32—though the actual lengths run about 30, 32, or 34... I think 32 is the standard reg, if I recall correctly.

So, you should probably aim for a 28 or maybe even a 27...

It’s impossible to guess blindly. You really need to try them on yourself because sizing varies wildly between brands and cuts...

I fluctuate between a US 4, 6, and 8. Diesel is a 25 or 26, Replay is a 26, length 32.😉

Thanks girls, I'm totally eyeing those platform heels

.. I'm in such a dilemma because I seriously want them, but I'm terrified of picking the wrong size.

Since there’s absolutely zero info in the size guide, I'm stuck.

I feel like talking about numbers today is just too much effort—I’m a size 25 for one brand and a 29 for another 🙄
but seriously, why doesn't ASOS have a size guide using centimeters?

They’ve got a size guide using centimeters, but I have no clue what "26'' reg" actually means. What am I supposed to be measuring? Which part of my body? 😁

Okay, I think I figured it out—I did a little digging online. That "reg" thing refers to the waistline. Plus, ASOS says a size 28 has an inseam of 33'', so yeah, we're definitely talking about the waist here. 😉
