Can pants be widened, just like they can be taken in? For instance, denim jeans that are too tight around the waist?

@Patrick Anderson3 - Listen, a decent tailor can fix just about anything. You could actually tuck some fabric between the seams on the upper part of those jeans. If you’re wearing shirts untucked so that the patch isn't visible, you'll be fine.

So, what’s the deal with AllSaints jeans? Are they actually worth dropping a couple hundred bucks on... or is it just clever branding?

Hey ladies—I’m looking for some advice on what to do with these pants that are just way too tight through the legs. I mean, they are incredibly narrow from top to bottom; I can barely even stretch them over my legs. They arrived today and honestly, I’m pretty disappointed. :/ Do you think a zipper might help, or maybe some kind of tailoring? 😢

Wait, did Salsa really get shut down? 😢 And if she did, does anyone actually know if they have any branches over in SLO...

I've been on the hunt for some high-waisted trousers lately, and I'm really looking for a specific fit—something tight through the hips and waist, with a rise that hits right at the belly button. Ideally, they'd be full-length or at least knee-length. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I could pick these up in Los Angeles? I'm also totally open to shopping online if that's easier!

You might want to check the website for that shopping center in Ljubljana—Salsa used to be there... they definitely had a much wider selection than what we see around here.

Has anyone here ordered Salsa jeans online before? I’m curious about the customs duties and everything. I was hunting for some new denim, only to realize they aren't even available in our stores anymore—and those were my absolute favorites. It’s like missing the big clearance sale at Macy's right before the doors lock for good.
I also went to try on the Levi's Revel line today, since they're supposed to have that same sculpting effect for the booty. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. I tried on almost every pair they had, but it's all the same; they just flatten everything out.😢

The price you'll find is whatever they've listed on the website when you click through to the US site...

Greetings!
Does anyone happen to know if there is anywhere in the greater metropolitan area where one might acquire denim that actually performs its duty—specifically, trousers that effectively contour or accentuate the posterior? I am searching for something akin to those old Salsini push-up models that used to be quite the sensation.

I remember Amadeus used to carry push-up styles—not sure if they still do or if they're actually any good, though—but maybe it's worth a look there?

Where can I find some decent men's jeans here in the city before $67? I'm looking for something that actually holds up.
So far, I've noted down these spots:
Kik
Target
Nordstrom
C&A
Old Navy

What’s everyone's experience been like with their denim quality? 🙂
Thanks 🙂

Maybe H&M, or check Motivos for sales. Currently, Terranova seems okay if you have a slim build.

Just another New Yorker, though I suppose even we can find something worth a discount if we look hard enough.

To breathe some life back into this thread and speak directly to all you denim enthusiasts out there—I have to say, my recent experience with online shopping has left me absolutely speechless... 😍 I placed my order last Thursday at 3:00 PM, and they arrived here in Chicago just this morning. Yesterday, I received a notification stating they would be delivered on the next business day, which, given how FedEx usually operates around here, almost certainly means Monday. So, essentially, you can have these jeans in your hands within three business days... 😁

On another note, they frequently run promotions on specific items—right now, they have over 50 pairs of jeans at 50% off (some even deeper), plus an equal amount of denim-style trousers. If you happen to be an average size, the selection might feel quite limited due to stock levels, but finding a size 26/32 is going to be a real challenge... 😉 This sale runs through tomorrow, and as for what comes after that, I simply haven't a clue...

In any case, I am feeling as giddy as a little kid, and I am just crossing my fingers that I didn't get my sizing wrong... 😬

Oh, and I should mention—shipping is completely free!!!! The discounted prices range from $49 to $90, while the original full prices are listed at double that amount...

Can you drop the link to the shop you're talking about?

She mentioned they were talking about those Salsa jeans, so I guess she meant the Salsa jeans store: www.salsastore.com.

I've been staring at this site all day like a maniac, just trying to find my size. I usually wear a 28/34, but when I look for a 28 waist, they only offer a 32. They don't even show a 34 until you get into those much larger sizes... and honestly, their 34 seems to be the biggest they carry, which makes zero sense to me since I’m not exactly tall...
I was actually digging through Allexis's old post from January 2013, where she mentioned the pants were only about 200-$133. Prices have shot up since then. Now they're retailing for around $110, maybe $65 or $70 if they're on sale... so yeah, I'm feeling pretty regretful that I didn't grab them when I had the chance.

Back in January, they were running sales, and if I recall correctly, the standard prices usually started at $233 or even higher. I actually own a pair of their jeans, and honestly, they’re fantastic. I'm a size 28/34 myself, so I'm planning on picking up another pair soon—though I think I'll hold out for the next big sale before I pull the trigger.😁
