Susan Garcia6 said:Anyone here who’s actually bought Salsa jeans? I could use some help figuring out sizing. I noticed they ship incredibly fast and the quality looks solid, so I’m seriously considering placing an order 🙂.
I’ve been staring at their size chart and it’s suggesting a size 28, but that translates to a US 4, while I usually wear a US 6. Are their size recommendations actually reliable?
Also, I’m completely lost on how to pick the inseam. Given that I’m 5'10", 147 lbs, and have curves—specifically my hips and glutes measure about 38 inches—would a size 28 with a 32 inseam work? I can barely find a 34 length anywhere... I assume they're sold out everywhere?

I'm about 5'7"
It really depends on whether you prefer skinny or straight leg cuts. For me, the skinny ones are perfect at a 30 length, but for straight leg, I need a 34.
I ended up grabbing a 32 length this time. It wasn't a huge mistake; they bunch up a little at the bottom, but any local tailor can fix that in five minutes.
As for the waist, the chart suggested a 27, but I went with a 28 since my older pairs are both 28s. It was the right call.
I actually emailed them for advice, but the jeans arrived before they even replied 🙏
Yeah, from what I've seen, just size up... especially if there's more stretch involved. I'll post a photo later so you can judge for yourselves.😍

Susan Garcia6, if they're sitting all the way down low, then you'll probably cruise through with a 32 😉.

Has anyone actually tried these new Levi's jeans yet?

Susan Garcia6 said:Thanks, frozenbadger38 🙂. So, I just double-checked everything. The 32" pair measures 82 cm along the inner seam, which hits right at my ankle—it would actually be perfect if they were just 2 cm longer... Then there's the 34", which comes out to 87 cm. That feels like way too much fabric, and I really don't want them bunching up at the bottom since I'm aiming for that sleek, skinny look. The specific ones I've got my eye on aren't even available in a 34, so I'm leaning toward grabbing the 32s. They look pretty slim-cut, so maybe being a tiny bit short won't even be an issue 😬. Honestly, I can't make a decision to save my life 😵.

Jeans hitting right at the ankle is totally fine, and since you'll likely be wearing deeper boots once winter rolls around anyway, the style should work perfectly fine 😉.

On another note, returning jeans is such a lifesaver!! I wasn't feeling mine in person at all, and getting them sent back was just a few clicks away. My FedEx shipment is arriving today right on schedule. Once that's settled, it's officially time to hunt for some new ones 😍. Best of all, I finally confirmed that I'm definitely a size 26/32, so now I feel brave enough to order those pricier models knowing the sizing actually works. Yes!

I'm actually curious about some Levi's jeans myself. Is there any decent sale going on in the city right now? I'm mostly eyeing those 501s. Besides the Europa 92 shop, where else can one pick up Levi's around town?

There's a Levi's store over at the Arena Mall.

Oh right, I saw it yesterday while I was browsing online—forgot to mention it. You should swing by if you get the chance. Anyway, thanks.

Not sure where else to look 🥱... Dark wash bootcut jeans—low rise, 34 length...

I can't believe I'm coming up empty everywhere—it’s like I’m hunting for something impossible...🤷

Is there a shop in the city that carries LTB jeans? I used to pick them up at their spot in the mall, but if I remember right, they aren't there anymore 🤔
I need jeans ASAP, and honestly, their store was the only place I could find stuff that actually fits—you know, long enough legs, low rise, straight or slightly flared, and not breaking the bank :/

If anyone knows where they moved to, please help 🙂

Actually, if I recall correctly, there was some kind of grand opening over at the arena last weekend. I'm pretty sure I caught an advertisement suggesting that a certain retailer might be bringing them back into stock there.
😉

I swung by the LTB at the mall last weekend, and honestly... not impressed. Like I mentioned in my post above yours, I was hunting for the exact same thing. Out of their massive selection, they only had one single pair with bootcut legs and a low rise (which weren't really my style)—everything else was just skinnies. Maybe they updated the stock since then... 🤷
Ended up grabbing a pair from S.Oliver and ordered some Pepe Jeans on ASOS instead—both were low rise with straight/bootcut legs.

Check out Lee—they have some straight-leg options (I personally dig the Marlin style), and I think they carry some bootcuts too.

Anyone here picked up these denim jeans from Salsas? They’re currently marked down: http://www.salsastore.com/en/index.php?id=45&pid=29901

Found some high-waisted denim shorts at Pull&Bear—they come in four different colors and they're actually on sale right now.

Where in the States can I find some actual, honest-to-god denim from a real denim maker? I’m looking for jeans that aren't loaded with spandex and won't feel thin as tissue paper or highlight every single imperfection on my legs.

Don't even bother suggesting Zara, Mango, or H&M. Those aren't real jeans, they're just fast fashion garbage.🙂

Thanks.🙂

Personally, I’m fine with brands like Hilfiger, Replay, or Wrangler.
As for those shops you mentioned—honestly, I wouldn't trust any of them for a single piece of clothing. 😉
If you want decent jeans, you really have to be willing to shell out some actual cash—you can't just expect to find top-tier denim for $149 or $66 and hope they won't lose their shape, sag at the waist, pull at the legs, or bunch up uncomfortably in the crotch area.

You should give Taylor and Diesel a shot too—they’re definitely on the pricier side, but the quality is honestly there...

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
I can definitely swing a bit more cash for some decent denim, but honestly? I think brands like Replay and Diesel are just total rip-offs.

I bought my first pair of Replay jeans right at the end of high school—wore them through basically my entire college years—and they finally just gave out, splitting right at the knee when I went to squat down. Honestly, I kept wearing them even then. Now? Well, I just wear them as shorts. And yes, I’m 41. 😁 So, look—they really are worth the investment... provided that "quality" isn't just a marketing buzzword these days. The ones I’m sporting right now actually date back to 2005 or 2006; I also have four other pairs tucked away, though I tend to favor trousers more often now. Back in my younger days, though, I lived in denim every single day... specifically one solitary pair that I constantly had to wash and dry on the radiator.
