Right now, my best bet is Bershka—their high-waisted jeggings look so much like actual denim that I sometimes forget they aren't real jeans.

The other day in Vienna, I saw these ultra high-waist jean leggings on a mannequin at Hollister... I couldn't find them on the rack, and the store was packed. There wasn't a single employee in sight, and I was way too tired to deal with trying stuff on anyway. I thought maybe there was a Hollister near Chicago where I could just shop in peace, but it looks like we don't have one around here.

After less than two years of regular wear, the fabric between the thighs has practically rotted away. That’s two pairs of jeans straight into the trash. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? How long do your high-quality denim pieces actually last, and which brands are truly worth the investment? Should I be looking at something like Diesel instead?

Jeans are such a headache lately—honestly, I don't think you can find any good quality anymore... For me, Diesel is still the gold standard, even if some of their thinner summer pairs stretched out on me way too fast. On the flip side, Replay was hands down the worst stuff I’ve ever bought. They lost their shape after just a couple of wears—and yeah, I actually fell for them twice.
Calvin Klein is probably my top pick, which is kind of funny since they’re on the cheaper side. Tommy Hilfiger is similar—their cuts are always a bit weird, but occasionally I stumble upon a pair that actually fits right.
As for brands like Gap, none of their styles really work for me, and let's be real, the quality has gone downhill big time.
Hugo's cuts are way too tight for my liking. Boss? Yeah, those are solid...
Ralph Lauren is a total disaster, pretty much on par with how bad Replay was.
If I had to narrow it down, I'd stick with Diesel and Calvin Klein.🙂
