What’s the highest number of denim jeans they carry in New Yorker?

I’m with Paul Peterson6 on this one. I’ve been wearing my pair from Tally Weijl for six years now—dark wash, no rips, no fading... honestly, they’re absolutely perfect.

I’ve also had pretty decent luck with jeans from Lidl and Amadeus.

I’ve got wider hips, and honestly, sometimes I just want to vent because it feels impossible to find good denim that looks amazing on my shape. It’s so frustrating when you see something you love but know it’s probably not going to work. Does anyone know a good spot in town?🙂

Wide hips are the ultimate hallmark of a true woman—a symbol of pure fertility—and honestly, they make you want to throw those skinny jeans straight into the trash.

Does anyone have a recommendation for denim that won't lose its shape after just a few hours of wear? I have a few pairs that look absolutely perfect right after they come out of the laundry, but once I've been walking around in them for a little while, they stretch out completely and look terrible. Naturally, I am looking for something at a reasonable price point.😁

I swear, I saw people wearing stuff exactly like that at Target last year—it was everywhere. $23 😁Honestly, I don't even know—do they actually have them now? Or is it just one of those things where everyone talks about it like it’s a done deal when it really isn't? Who knows.

Word on the street is that those $70 H&M pieces are just as trash—honestly, why do we even bother?

Her only real flaw is that they let the color bleed. I haven't even taken them out for a spin yet—fingers crossed they don't start acting up once I actually get them out on the road.

Tally Weijl is hands down the best! 🙂 Are they actually going to show up?... $100 But it’s worth it...

Thank you, ladies!
I have one excellent pair from Tally, whereas the others look as if they were worn by someone twenty kilograms heavier after only two hours. I shall take a look at C&A as well. 😁

Hehe, you nailed it! 👍 I guess I’d throw in one more thing—why do women even bother with jeans so much anyway? Like, wouldn't wearing a skirt be way nicer? And hey, if you're really feeling the denim vibe, there are plenty of denim skirt styles out there!

I was wondering how you guys keep your jeans from stretching out so much...?
Aside from people saying you should skip the fabric softener, are there any other tricks?😁
Do you have a specific rule of thumb when checking the fabric composition?

Years ago, I used to get all my jeans from Amadeus without a second thought. But last year? Total disaster. I picked up three different pairs and they were all trash. One bled dye like crazy, another ripped way too fast, and the third one started splitting right at the crotch because the denim was just paper-thin and cheap. Honestly, I’d swear their quality has completely tanked lately. 🤔

Everything I’ve bought lately has ended up ripping right at the crotch—basically splitting at the hips. Even my Tom Taylor pair is useless now because they’re way too big, so they just sit in my closet. Lately, I've been trying stuff from F&F, but honestly? They looked killer when I first grabbed them, but after one wash, the quality just evaporated. It’s like they were made of tissue paper; the elastic basically vanished and the zipper keeps popping open. I’m hoping Stradivarius gets some new stock soon since that’s my go-to, as long as they don't just stock those annoying models with the pre-ripped knees...

Has anyone actually given the denim from Calzedonia a shot?

I actually gave their denim a try—though, if I’m being honest, they feel incredibly slim and lightweight, almost somewhere in that middle ground between actual jeans and leggings. They are definitely high quality and have a really flattering fit, too. My only real gripe is that the legs felt way too short on me. I tend to wear a smaller size, but since I'm quite tall—around 5'9"—it just didn't quite work out. I think I’m missing maybe 4 inches of length to make them perfect.🤣

It sounds like we’re cut from the same cloth. I’ve honestly just accepted that my jeans are always going to be a bit short; as long as they hit that perfect skinny fit, I can live with it. Thanks so much for the heads-up, I’ll definitely give them a look.😉

Hey everyone! Quick question—does anyone know where I can pick up some wider-leg pants around town? Everywhere I look, it’s just slim fit or standard cuts. Plus, everything seems to have those weird grey faded patterns on them, which I honestly can't stand. I really prefer a looser fit because it's just way more comfortable, but since I have a narrow waist, 😁 I'm having a bit of a struggle finding anything that actually fits right.

C&A. buys stuff there. 😁They have tons of options—regular, wide, slim... 😁

I didn't see any wide options on their bio, just slim and regular.

Where can I find some decent jeans for about $167? I'm on the shorter side, curvy hips, tiny waist. Heading to the mall today and honestly, I'm already dreading it because I know I'll try on a million pairs just to be disappointed. Not looking for anything crazy, just classic skinnies—light wash, dark, or black. Ideally something with just the right amount of stretch. And they really need to flatter my curves 😁 I used to grab stuff from H&M and it was fine, but the ones from Zara stretched out after one wear. LTB was actually great though. Any other suggestions?
