If you happen to be heading toward Chicago, you should definitely check out the Mega Factory Store. They have way more denim brands all under one roof, so you can try on different styles without having to bounce around all over town.

Wait, what are you talking about?😕 (I think that jerk, not LJ)🙂
That situation over at the mine is a total mess, isn't it? Not good at all.😕

Everyone is wearing the exact same sneaker models and jackets. 😁 😁 😁 So, I decided I’m heading to Europe this Saturday to shop because I couldn't find anything decent here. Everything is just some tacky, "blah" style—not my vibe at all. 🙂

So, what kind of sneakers are you into?

Is it that mess over by the old coal mine?😕

Well, they just reopened it downtown, and it actually looks pretty decent now.

Honestly, I can't think of any other spot where you can try on so many different brands of jeans all within a few square feet.

Plus, I honestly can't think of anywhere else where you can test out that many different denim brands all in one tiny little shop.

I’ll have to check it out.
Actually, I'm looking to buy some new
jeans.
Those modern styles, though...

boldeagle3 said:My take is that Diesel offers an incredibly wide spectrum of cuts, sizing, and even lengths.
I’ve personally never owned any Diesel pieces—they do cost a pretty penny, after all—but my sister mentioned they are exceptionally high quality... she also noted that once you actually find your size, you can pick the specific length you need, which means you don't have to deal with the hassle of getting them tailored.

(Now I just find myself hoping everything I've said here is actually true 😁)

By the way, there’s a Diesel boutique over in the Upper East Side that carries some of their older collections... you can find those jeans there for about half the usual price.🙂

Honestly, for the last five or so years, I’ve been buying nothing else... yeah, they’re pricey—definitely a hit to the wallet—but man, they are so worth it. I still have my old pairs from two or three years ago, and I'm wearing them right this second. Is it worth the investment? Absolutely.

Hey everyone!
I need some advice from anyone who actually knows their way around denim shops—and better yet, people who know their raw denim.
I really want to buy a pair of high-quality jeans just once in my life... my criteria are pretty specific: I don't want them to sag the second I wear them so I don't end up looking 10 pounds heavier, they shouldn't be so thin that they highlight every single imperfection, and I want a tougher fabric that flattens things out a bit and maybe a slimmer cut.
To all my fellow shopaholics out there, tell me where I should start looking!!!
Thanks in advance🙂

p.s. Are 100% cotton jeans actually better, or are blends with elastane better or worse?

Your best bet is finding denim with minimal stretch. They hold their shape better and won't sag on you after a few wears.

As for where to shop, I can't really help you there—I've been struggling to find a decent pair myself for a month now. I used to be super thin and anything looked fine, but I've put on a little weight lately (which is how it should be), and now nothing fits right. The smaller sizes are too tight, and while the larger ones fit my legs and butt, they’re always gaping at the waist.😢

The last few pairs I picked up were from Zara—honestly, I’m beyond thrilled with them 😍. They are exactly the kind of models I had in my head... just take a look, maybe you'll get lucky too

Ugh... finding that perfect fit is seriously an art form... but I have to say, I’m obsessed with my Wranglers. They are hands down the best jeans I own right now, and I'm not even embarrassed to admit I could live in them forever... they're a bit pricier, $233, but finally, I've found a pair that actually feels like they were custom-made for me
(My issue with almost every other cut I've tried is that they stretch out in the seat after just one wear, leaving me looking like I'm wearing a diaper 🙂 )

I recently picked up a pair of Diesel jeans made from 100% cotton, and I must say, I’m not particularly impressed; they feel somewhat shapeless and loose... personally, I have always preferred denim with just a hint of stretch, as they tend to fit my curves much more flatteringly.
Besides, I usually gravitate toward Diesel, and I’ve honestly never had an issue with their quality... I don't mind paying the premium price when I know I'm investing in a truly high-quality piece of clothing.🥳

Honestly, you’ve just got to go out there and find the pair that feels right for you, because let's be real, we aren't going to be much help in picking the perfect fit for someone else!

But hey, if I can offer one little tip: don't be afraid to check out the men's denim section! I was actually super surprised at how much better they look on me—and honestly, even without any stretch in the fabric, the fit was incredible. I grabbed a pair of the Levi's bootcut 512s and they are just fantastic.

It's kind of funny looking back, because I remember when Replay used to have absolutely perfect styles, back in those good old days when I bought my very first pair of Replay jeans $167. They were seriously a hundred times better quality than what you see in stores today! I'm still wearing a pair I bought five years ago, and let me tell you, they are still absolute perfection.

I couldn't agree more. The sweet spot is definitely 98% cotton and 2% elastane. 🙂 Anything labeled as 100% heavy cotton tends to bag out, leaving you with no choice but to take them to a tailor just to make them wearable again. 😁

As for Diesel... 🙏 🙏 🙏 they are easily my favorite brand. Even though I have pieces from Replay, Benetton, Topshop, and Esprit—and I’m happy with all of them—Diesel is hands down the best at flattering my backside. 😍

I always shop at LTB. They’re seriously perfect.
There was one specific pair that stretched out on me immediately, but apparently, every other girl who bought that exact model had the same issue...

I’ve tried Replay jeans before, too, but they just didn't wow me.

Just wander around downtown for a bit, you'll definitely find something...

Check out Diesel, Hilfiger, Miss Selfridge, that little boutique over by the old department store, or maybe Jeg* over on the main strip...

Check out these ladies over at Friends Designhttp://www.friends-design.hr/flashin...p?id=index.htm>
They’ll basically act as your personal stylists, telling you exactly which denim to pick and tailoring the perfect pair right to your measurements. These women have actually engineered their own entire sizing system based on specific body types and physical builds.

Honestly, the best denim I’ve ever owned comes from Vero Moda. In the past, I used to cycle through everything—brands like LTB and Benetton, even some high-end lingerie brands—but it always felt like the same story: after wearing them just twice, the waist would stretch out right at the button and they'd lose all their shape. These, however, are absolutely fantastic. They have that flattering skinny jean vibe, yet they aren't suffocatingly tight around the ankles, which I personally prefer because it looks much more natural. They’re a beautiful dark wash with a low rise... and the price was only $70 😁
. I actually stumbled upon them by total accident while browsing online, and well...

Honestly, I’m most satisfied with my Mustangs.
I used to own these Wranglers—zero stretch, pure perfection. I couldn't find them anywhere in the States for the longest time, but even though they aren't quite what they used to be, two of my girlfriends swear by them.
Usually, I just buy pants if I like the color and if they actually fit my backside. I'm definitely not blessed in that department, so I almost always end up taking them to a tailor anyway. I have a thing for straight-leg cuts.

Hey, I was wondering—how much does it cost to switch from a trapezoid shape to a flat one?

So, I was wondering—where can I actually pick up some Calvin Klein jeans around here in the city, and honestly, what’s the deal with their quality lately? Is it actually worth the price tag, or am I just paying for the logo?
