God, I have no clue what I'd even do... I'd probably just drag a bunch of reporters into this mess, swear to God...

She’s making threats? Seriously? Tell her to bring some guy along next time so he can do the intimidating for her...
I'd probably just call up some battle-hardened buddy with a killer stare to ride with me. 😁 Okay, I'm kidding.

I just got off the phone with Ms. Baboon... nothing is happening before Monday.

I told her exactly where I stand, and I’ve made my decision: I’m showing up on Monday with a group of reporters in tow.

The second I get that official paperwork in hand, I am moving every cent to a different bank.

Protecting the clients is the only thing that matters here...🙄

Gotta protect my clients...🙄

So how did she take the news?

I have absolutely no intention of adding fuel to the fire here. It’s just 😘 - Kenneth Hernandez67, and honestly, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. You're just looking for a fight—you know you are. Don't waste your energy on something so utterly trivial 😉

I’m reading through these threads from people in the banking sector and 😠 grrrrr

But honestly, Kenneth Hernandez67, you are such a powerhouse 🙂

One really needs to have the grit—and the sheer stamina—to fight through all of this, especially when dealing with the suffocating bureaucracy at places like JP Morgan Chase... not to mention their blatant greed for every cent. It’s as if consumer protection is an afterthought to them, isn't it? 🙂

Even without having a fighter by your side, I am certain you'll claw that money back. 🙂

Hang in thereeeee 🙂

Listen, girl,

if they don't get it sorted by Monday, let me know—I guess a few DMs would be enough to get a small but mighty group together outside the JP Morgan Chase office on Tuesday.
We could see how they handle things when dealing with a hand-picked group of clients. 😉
😁 😁

The heavy hitter we're discussing here is JP Morgan Chase. ☕

Oh, they're just wonderful. I remember one time I sat there for over an hour and a half just waiting for them to reset my online banking PIN. They kept insisting the old one was correct—which I had honestly forgotten anyway, mostly because the woman behind the counter couldn't explain a single thing about their digital platform, so I hadn't even bothered trying it at first. By the time I finally lost my patience with those endless lines, I ended up stuck there for nearly two hours just to get one simple thing sorted.🙄

Hopefully, you can get everything squared away sooner rather than later.🙂

If it were me, I’d ask a tough friend with a mean stare to tag along.😁 Just kidding.

I once had $15,000 at JP Morgan Chase, and the teller kept asking me to sign pension withdrawal forms five different times. He claimed the signatures didn't match. I’ve always been pretty tech-savvy with tablets, so I lost my cool a bit. I told him straight up that I have all my documentation right here and that I've been banking with them for 35 years, not just five.
I told him if he didn't give me my money immediately, things were going to get ugly... I even reached into my coat pocket. He gave me the cash right then, and I thought that was the end of it.
Then I went into another shop, and as I was leaving, six security guards and two cops were waiting for me.
When I asked what the fuss was about, they said I looked physically imposing and
dangerous. To make a long story short, I ended up in court for making threats. The judge actually said he might have done the same thing himself, as long as I hadn't threatened to kill him. He fined me $150, but those people at the bank were ruthless—that same night, they put my checks, paperwork, and a termination letter in the mail. Since I happened to be taking out the trash, I saw them do it; someone could have easily stolen my info.

It’s not a good idea. That’s just my experience with being a little too blunt and aggressive.

All the best, Kenneth Hernandez67

🙂 😘

Get this... I walk into work and find a fax waiting for me from JP Morgan Chase, and they actually HANDWROTE instructions on how a power of attorney should look—which is supposed to be issued by the Department of Social Services.

So now I’m calling this "delightful" lady over at the Department of Social Services, and she tells me I have to submit the request ALL OVER AGAIN (by the way, last time I submitted paperwork, I waited two months just for a decision) so it can be reviewed by some committee.

I’m trying to explain to her that we are talking about the EXACT same account, the EXACT same amount, and the EXACT same bill that was already approved, and she just SHOUTS AT ME TO SUBMIT THE REQUEST! and slams the phone down.

Honestly, guys, I'm heading home. I am done for the day. 😵

I’ve been sitting here reading through this whole thread, just trying to catch up on everything I missed over the last two weeks.

Kudos to Kenneth Hernandez67🙏

As for Barb, I can only lean on that old saying about it being darkest just before the dawn...
I truly believe that everything he’s had to carry inside has to be purged first—all those waves of illness need to wash out to make room for a fresh start.

A friend of mine from college actually has a sister who struggled with early-onset schizophrenia.
She’s doing well now; she finished her degree and has a job... she stays on her medication, but she’s stabilized.

It took a long time, a lot of nerves, endless therapy, and quite a bit of money, but they finally got her treatment plan solidified, so she's okay now.

But man, it was a brutal road. There was so much misunderstanding at home, a father who just couldn't bring himself to admit she was sick, stints in psychiatric wards, heavy sedation, and times when she wouldn't even eat on her own. She was hearing voices; she wasn't sleeping.

There were moments where it felt completely hopeless. It was heartbreaking to watch—sometimes she was heavily sedated, other times she just seemed to be losing her grip on reality...

But they pulled through. They fought, and they won. Through all of that, the most vital thing was having someone to lean on. Her mother and sister acted as her compass and her safe harbor, much like you have been for Barb.

Not once did they ever label her as "crazy." They always just said she was ill and that she would get better...

It honestly pains me how small-minded some people can be. In many communities, people care more about appearances than anything else—they want the neighbors to think everything is fine and avoid any gossip, even if it means ignoring the suffering of those closest to them.😢

And that whole mess with the bureaucracy? I have no words.😠
The worst kind of people are those petty individuals who hide behind rulebooks and red tape just to mask their own lack of humanity.

HANG IN THERE!!!

Don't even give those comments the time of day. People just blurt that stuff out when they run out of things to say... they don't matter at all. Hang in there.😘
