Art appraisals/valuations?

So, I’ve got this piece—it's housed in a gold frame, but there's this odd quality to it, almost as if it were crafted from porcelain. It has this incredibly crisp, hyper-realistic depth, sort of like those high-end 3D renders you see nowadays. The work is titled "PORCELLANE PRINCIPE," and the artist—or perhaps just the master craftsman behind it—is listed as G. CAZZOTA. Does anyone here happen to know anything about this?

Since I don't know the first thing about this kind of stuff, I'm asking for some help.

I decided to buy a print from Lackovic as a wedding gift for a friend, so now I'm trying to wrap my head around all these different markings you find on artwork.

Specifically, this piece has an "EA" mark—which people told me refers to the edition number—there's a watermark claiming it's authentic, and then there's some purple stamp on the edge.
Is that enough to prove it's the real deal?

On top of that, the artist's signature looks a little weird to me, though I did a quick search online and saw that it seems legitimate.
It looks like it says "Latkovic" instead of "Lackovic."
Is it actually common practice for artists to misspell their own names, or is this just a weird fluke with this specific guy?

So yeah, please help me out and hurry up because the wedding is this Saturday!😁 .

Regarding your question, "E.A." stands for the artist's edition. However, a word of advice: be extremely careful when buying Lackovic prints—or any fine art—online. There are a massive amount of reproductions out there, and it can be incredibly difficult to distinguish an original from a high-quality copy. Personally, I'd recommend sticking to established galleries; it might cost a bit more, but at least you'll have peace of mind. My gallery carries quite a reasonable selection if you're interested. As for the picture, it’s a high-quality canvas replica. It’s numbered, too. It says:
D/827—Pieter Bruegel the Younger—Adoration of the Magi.
Since it’s numbered, it has to be worth something. Usually, when you see limited editions like this, the originals end up tucked away in places like the British Museum or private estates under the care of families like the d'Este lineage—that's all I know for sure. If it’s a limited series, there’s definitely some substance there. Can anyone give me a better idea of what we're looking at? I'd love some insight on the image itself, what the actual market value might be, and exactly what that edition number signifies.😉😁Please.

Greetings, everyone! So, I recently came into possession of a painting—a gift from an older gentleman who’s actually held onto this particular piece for about thirty years now. It’s a landscape depicting some quaint little houses, and tucked away in the corner, there's a signature that looks like "I T" or perhaps "J T," though the frame makes it a bit of a puzzle to decipher the exact letters. Now, truth be told, art isn't exactly my specialty—I wouldn't know a masterpiece from a grocery list if it hit me in the face—so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding who I might contact to identify the artist or get some kind of appraisal? To add a little more detail to the mystery, the work itself is painted on what appears to be a type of linen canvas. Thank you all so much in advance for any help you can provide!

So, this picture’s been hanging around our family for over 80 years now. Honestly? I haven't a clue what it actually is or if it’s worth anything at all. The framing is pretty terrible, too—it’s actually messed up the artist's signature. It’s an oval piece, roughly 90x50 cm. So, I'm curious—does anyone here know who buys antiques in the States? I have a German typewriter at home, over a century old. It’s one of only nine ever produced. It's in great shape, still has the original metal serial number plate on the back.
I checked with some contacts in Germany, and they mentioned certain auction houses would snap it up instantly. However, given the headaches involved with shipping high-value antiques across international borders, I'm hesitant to go that route.

First off—I’m curious about the inscription at the top of this image (it's part of a piece by Lacković—I've actually owned it for ages, but suddenly I'm dying to know exactly what it says!) 🙂.

Also, regarding that white pastel signature at the bottom—does anyone recognize it? It's likely from an American painter, if anyone happens to know off the top of their head, or could perhaps point me toward the right place to ask. 👍

I would describe it as an old painting we recently discovered in the attic while renovating the family home. It looks like it was done in pastels, tempera, or something similar... unfortunately, my computer is acting up, so I can't upload the image right now. I'm curious about the title and if it holds any actual value, just so I know what I'm dealing with. If it turns out to be worth something, I might consider restoring it a bit.

There is also a signature, if that helps decipher what it means...

Maybe I’ll try my luck getting a little help here—I have a picture depicting central London, somewhere toward the end of the 19th century. I'm wondering how one actually goes about determining the appraisal value for a piece like that.
