Art appraisals/valuations?

I’d really appreciate any thoughts or professional takes you guys might have on this. 🙂

So, hanging on my living room wall right now is this tapestry signed by Mersad Berber.
I've attached a photo of the piece itself, along with a shot of the metal plaque showing his signature and the serial number.

@ crimsontiger21 : I’ve got a feeling those first three prints are probably copperplate or woodcut engravings... either way, they're pretty killer visuals... though if you're looking for someone who'd actually appreciate them, you should probably run them by Mr. Sterling first, he'd likely be the most into them.

Hey there.
So, I was digging around in the attic and stumbled upon this ancient painting wrapped up in some old newspapers.
From chatting with my granddad, it sounds like that date on there—1921—could actually be legit, because his own father picked this thing up ages ago... he still remembers seeing it hanging in the hallway back when he was just a kid, and now the old man is already 78.

After doing a little digging online, I figured out it’s a depiction of the execution of Matthias Gupc, which means the signed artist should be Oton Iveković.
But honestly, that's about as far as my knowledge goes; I’m half-expecting it to be some cheap replica, so tell me what you guys think is possible here and what isn't.
Also, can I actually get anything for this, and if so, where and how much are we talking?
And seriously, where do you even go to verify if a painting is the real deal or just old, and how do they estimate what these things are worth?

I was wondering how much I could realistically get for a little bit of vintage oil from that old Vasilija Jordan collection—you know, the 50x30 set? It’s actually something I inherited, so it's just sitting here.

Look, I’ve been a serious collector for about 20 years now, and I’ve got plenty of friends running high-end galleries across the States. Honestly, with the economy being what it is right now, trying to offload anything is a massive headache, but that doesn’t mean you just hand over fine art for free, right? So yeah, that’s your price point. Depending on the year it was produced—if it’s an older piece, you might actually be able to squeeze a bit more out of them.

No worries at all, I can totally wait! There’s absolutely no rush on my end, though I gotta admit, the photo you sent isn't exactly blowing my mind right now... it's just okay, you know?

Regarding those Djamonj sculptures...
Look, if that thing isn't some cheap knockoff—meaning, if the sculpture is 100% authentic and you can prove where it came from—then you’re sitting on something pretty damn valuable.
Moving forward, you should definitely go out of your way to ask around for a more solid appraisal.

As for me, I’ve got a few old wristwatches lying around.
One of them is actually pretty special; the design really jumps out at you and it looks killer, and the brand is "Fossil." I have a feeling it might actually be worth something.
So, here’s what I’m wondering:
Where should I even go to get an appraisal? I know there are probably watch repair shops that buy old watches just to strip them for parts, but honestly, that sounds like absolute peanuts, and I’d much rather just keep it for myself than hand it over for next to nothing...
Keep in mind I’m living in Phoenix, and there aren't many places around here that specialize in this kind of thing, so my mind is going blank.
Anyway, tell me what you guys would do so I can compare notes...

I have these old pictures from my late grandmother. They’re carved out of oak and they are absolutely massive. One shows a cathedral in Chicago and the other depicts a church in Savannah. I wonder where I might be able to take them to get an appraisal

Hello. I have these two images here—one of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and one of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I found them tucked away in an old house I recently purchased, and now I’m curious about what they might actually be worth. I was wondering if anyone could provide a rough estimate of both the minimum baseline value and a more realistic market price, if you wouldn't mind taking a look.

They’re pretty much worthless as they are, but the frame might actually be worth something, especially if that gold plating is still intact.

Since I don't know the first thing about this kind of stuff, I'm asking for some help.

I decided to buy a print from Lackovic as a wedding gift for a friend, so now I'm trying to wrap my head around all these different markings you find on artwork.

Specifically, this piece has an "EA" mark—which people told me refers to the edition number—there's a watermark claiming it's authentic, and then there's some purple stamp on the edge.
Is that enough to prove it's the real deal?

On top of that, the artist's signature looks a little weird to me, though I did a quick search online and saw that it seems legitimate.
It looks like it says "Latkovic" instead of "Lackovic."
Is it actually common practice for artists to misspell their own names, or is this just a weird fluke with this specific guy?

So yeah, please help me out and hurry up because the wedding is this Saturday!😁 .

Ladies and gentlemen, I find myself in need of a professional appraisal regarding two specific pieces from the 1920–1925 period, which my grandfather actually received as personal gifts directly from the artist himself. The works are by PETAR ŠAINA, measuring 80x60 cm and executed in mixed media. One belongs to his "SEA" series, depicting a fisherman mending a net, while the other falls under his "CONVERSATIONS OVER A COFFEE" series, featuring a portrait of a rural farmer in traditional attire, seated and smoking. They are currently framed, and I am looking for a realistic valuation. Furthermore, I wonder if there is any genuine interest here in his work; he was certainly a master of his craft, though his roots lie in what we now consider the Midwest region rather than our local markets. I also possess a larger format piece by an artist hailing from the outskirts of a small town near Chicago—does anyone happen to have insight into the market value of his work? While his reputation remains quite high in his home territory, his pieces haven't really surfaced on the auction blocks here in the States.
