Kenneth Hernandez67 said:Man, what kind of gynecologist charges an annual fee like they’re the only clinic in town?

It’s probably just a yeast infection, but yeah, go see the doctor, obviously.

But did you actually read what she wrote?
Megan Wright9 said:My skin cracked in 3 or 4 spots around my vagina and uuuuuuugh, it HURTS so bad. 🙂

So, it’s not a yeast infection. Her skin literally cracked. It hurts—it’s not itchy, it *hurts*... and this is actually happening...
Don't tell me you've never had skin cracking before 😁 (and I don't mean from giving birth)

See, for me, it wasn't even about sex... it was actually from hair removal. Just pulling that thin layer of skin around my lips too hard. It only happened because I had no clue what I was doing back then, you know? And it wasn't like anything bloody or intense, just those tiny little slits where the skin stretched too far.

So, I'm guessing it's basically the same thing—just the skin cracking easily—but for Megan Wright9, it happened in more spots and maybe even went a bit deeper? Am I getting that right?
It’s really not a huge deal.

Megan Wright9, right?
Let us know how you end up fixing it.

Ugh, I haven't even dealt with this yet because it still hurts way too much to even move.
Seriously, when I was peeing this morning, it felt like someone was literally slicing me open with a scalpel. 🙂
So, I went ahead and grabbed some hemorrhoid cream, so we'll see how that goes... I mean, it can't hurt, right? Even if it doesn't actually work.
Honestly, regarding the OBGYN situation, I’d honestly just prefer a quick phone consultation. There's no way an exam is going to fix what's going on here anyway.😕

Megan Wright9 said:Still haven't dealt with it. My head is still spinning... honestly, I just feel like passing out.
So, I’m in the bathroom this morning, you know, just doing my business, and suddenly—bam. It felt like someone took a freaking scalpel to me. Like, seriously, a surgical blade right there. Anyone else ever deal with that kind of sharp, localized agony out of nowhere? Just... absolute madness. 🙂
So, I finally bit the bullet and picked up some hemorrhoid cream. We'll see how it goes, I guess... honestly, it’s hard to imagine it making things any worse, even if it ends up being a total dud.
Anyway, regarding the OB-GYN situation... I’d probably just settle for some advice over the phone. I mean, there's no way they could actually examine me, right? 😕

So, you asking if he’s more like what I described... or if he’s actually even more intense than that? Honestly, who knows? Sometimes things are just way heavier than you expect them to be when you're sitting there picturing it. Is he going full throttle or just hitting those levels I mentioned? Hard to say, right?

Watch out with that hemorrhoid cream, seriously. There's a chance it might mess with your natural flora down there... I mean, I don't actually know if that stuff would have a bad effect on that area or not. Maybe do some digging first? Personally, I wouldn't put anything on myself until I’d had a real talk with my OB-GYN. Just call the substitute doctor and get an appointment lined up. Tell them exactly what’s going on—and if you can't or won't explain it over the phone, just insist on coming in. Honestly, it's better to just have someone give you a physical exam and chat about it in person where it's private.

Quick, get that phone in your hands. 🙂

There’s absolutely no way I’m scheduling an exam when they can’t even actually examine me...
Honestly, it's becoming a total nightmare just thinking about lying down on that table and spreading my legs... I'm pretty sure I'd just pass out from the pain.
The only coverage I have is through Social Security, so I'm gonna give her a call now.... I'll check back in later.

Look, stop being such a critic whenever I have to be blunt with you.

I’ve actually been examined by medical professionals; when things were getting critical, they didn't shy away from me.

You’ve posted on five different threads about how sick and miserable you feel. If what you’re writing here is truly causing you that much physical distress, pack a bag and go see a doctor already.

I honestly, TRULY will never understand how some women can be so incredibly foolish.

You’ve got cracks, wounds, and issues in your most private areas, yet you refuse to seek medical help just because you’re too embarrassed to be examined.🙄

God, you are just so damn smart, aren't you?
If you don't actually have some useful advice to offer, then just stay out of it.
Seriously, how is a doctor even supposed to examine me when just sitting up or standing back up is such a massive struggle? And don't even get me started on having to unbutton everything on that exam table!!!!!!!

Megan Wright9 said:Well, aren't you just a regular Einstein? Absolute genius over here. Honestly, I'm stunned by that level of intellect. Truly.
If you don't have any actual advice to offer, then don't bother showing up.
As if I’d actually agree to go in for an exam when just getting up from my chair or sitting back down feels like a marathon! And don't even get me started on the thought of having to unbutton everything while hunched over one of those tiny little medical stools... absolutely not.

🤣

Just stay away from the table... then maybe things will actually improve. 👍

So, how exactly do you think a doctor, a herbalist, some wound specialist, or anyone else can actually help if you don't even think you can see the issue yourself? I mean, seriously... how were you even supposed to know it was a skin fissure in the first place?

If you aren't looking for actual advice, don't bother posting.
How is a doctor supposed to examine me when even sitting up and standing is exhausting, let alone having to spread my legs on some exam table!!!!!!!

No, you're the genius here.

Stop opening threads on every other forum instead of finally taking your ass to a doctor.

No sane person reading about skin fissures around the vaginal area is going to suggest anything other than seeing a physician.

And honestly, what’s the deal with the gynecologist? How can you even claim an "exam is impossible"?

I mean, they don't have to go running a colposcopy on you, for crying out loud, but they actually need to see what's going on down there...

Has anyone actually dealt with this before? I’m looking for some real advice. What should I be picking up at the drugstore? Give me your best recommendations.
What’s there to even look at? It’s just like a hemorrhoid, only bigger. Period.
Look, I know how to handle my own business and walk away when I need to. I don't need some "genius" coming at me with unsolicited advice. Honestly? I didn't even ask for it!!!!!😠

Clearly you don't even know what a hemorrhoid is. ☕

Are you even sure that's near the vaginal area to begin with?

And I don't need to go to an OBGYN myself, I don't need any "experts" giving me unsolicited advice... besides, I didn't even ask for it!!!!!😠

Based on how you're typing, sounds like you've got some major issues with seeing a doctor—which is probably why those "experts" told you to stop messing around.

And honestly, the whole bit about whether a doctor should actually *look* at a patient during an exam? You're killing me here.

It’s like going to the dentist—cavities are cavities, what else is there to "examine" while they're drilling away? 😁

Skin cracking (or, uh, I guess the mucosa) around the vaginal area is NOT a normal thing that just happens to girls... you could have a yeast infection or something, and when it comes to stuff like that, figuring out the actual cause is HUGE.
