I ran into some issues trying to pay the City Cemetery fees, but that went through fine. Getting my school meal plan cleared up was a total nightmare, though—Chase wouldn't process it at all.

That’s an interesting question... what’s the actual difference between this card and a standard Mastercard you can just pick up at a gas station? I get that I have to physically head down to a DraftKings location to grab this one, but other than that hassle, do they both work exactly the same way?

Does anyone know how to generate a 2D barcode for payments through Venmo? I’m trying to settle up my supplemental health insurance premiums, but their 2D barcode just won't scan properly on my end.

The Venmo card is set to USD.

If I have Euros on my Venmo account and I'm paying for something abroad, am I going to get hit with a double conversion? Basically, does the terminal take the Euros, convert them into Dollars via the card, and then convert them right back into the Euros in my wallet? Or will it just charge the Euros directly without all that extra math?

My card actually arrived today! I put the order in 13 days ago. It’s incredibly easy to activate, and I was able to grab that 2x bonus immediately.$17 👍 The card shows up right away in both the DraftKings app and Venmo. Interestingly, the initial card numbers are exactly the same as a standard Venmo Mastercard.

I wasn't really feeling it—I didn't see much of a reason to bother, and honestly, I don't have much use for it anyway—but fine, here we go.
So, I started the registration process.
And now, after uploading my ID and the video verification, it’s been stuck on "transferring data in progress" for over half an hour.
I just don't have the patience for this kind of nonsense. In my book, they're completely useless.

I ended up calling the NBA office, and the first time they told me the code had already expired. Then, when I called back, they said the exact same thing! It wasn't until the third attempt that I finally got through. Once that hurdle was cleared, though, everything else went smoothly.
It wasn't exactly a walk in the park, but hey, at least it was just a hiccup during the initial signup phase.

Correct me if I'm totally off base here, but wait—so this is the exact same card they usually charge you for $10 but now you're getting it for free through SportsClub?

Yeah, but that’s nothing new. The Scorecard was available way before Venmo started offering their own branded version, and it’s always been free...

So how did you handle the identity verification? Did you hit up a Chase branch or just do it all online?

As for me, I already set mine up a few months back. Honestly, I didn't even know the SportsClub card was a thing back then!

As for DraftKings, I actually went into a physical branch to verify my ID ages ago—back when they first started requiring it two or three years back. With Venmo, though, I just uploaded a photo of my driver's license online about three or four months ago. Since then, neither platform has asked me for any additional verification. So, which one was giving you trouble, DraftKings or Venmo?

DraftKings won't let me order a Scorecard until I confirm everything first.
