I’m completely lost here; how am I supposed to actually see those funds when the guy doesn't even have an Aircasha account to begin with?
Next time, maybe just snap a photo of a payment code you generate yourself and have him pay you through a service like Western Union if he doesn't have PayPal.

ENC and PayPal
I just realized yesterday that you can actually link your ENC device directly to PayPal to check your balance and top up whenever you want.
In my book, this is such a fantastic feature! It’s like having a quick way to check your fuel account mid-trip and add funds on the fly if you're running low. Honestly, it's a shame they don't promote this more often.

Yeah, I use that too. Honestly, it's a top-tier feature.

Checking your balance is fine and all, but if you didn't know, you can actually go into a negative balance on your ENC. One single trip through the toll plaza and you could end up in the red. 🙂

Fair enough, but can you tell me what the actual limit is for going into the red? I’ve dipped into my overdraft a few times myself—I think I hit about $3.25 at most—but I haven't been able to find any clear info on where the hard ceiling actually is.

There isn't really a limit on the total amount, though there is one per transaction, and I guess you just have to settle up within 30 days.

So, analogjackal11 cleared that up for us. Thanks.
Basically, when things get busy, you don't have to freeze up and scramble to top off your account or rush to open PayPal. Might be useful info for someone

Is it actually possible to fund a Binance account using PayPal? I mean, does anyone here actually do that?

Card activation question: can I just shove it into an ATM to get things moving, or does it actually require me to make a purchase at a terminal—and does that work with contactless, or am I stuck physically inserting the card or pulling some cash out of an ATM first?
#511 ·
You think I actually activated contactless? I tried setting it up by checking my balance at an ATM. Or, well, I think I did... I haven't actually tested it yet, but that notification in the app finally disappeared.

If my memory serves me right, you should be able to just pop your card into an ATM, punch in your PIN, and check your balance—you don't necessarily have to actually withdraw any cash. Once you’ve done that, or if you just use it for a physical swipe at a shop for the first time, the card should be fully activated. After that, you can pretty much rely on contactless payments, though I suppose they might still prompt you for a PIN every few transactions, much like how you'd handle a Chase Visa or any other
standard credit card.

Hey, can anyone help me out? I just got PayPal set up and saw that I could top up my balance using my Diners Club card. So, I went through the whole process—JP Morgan asked for authorization, and I definitely have enough room on my Diners Club credit limit—but right at the very last step when I hit continue, everything just crashed! It kicked me back and gave me this message saying I need to contact my bank. What on earth is going on?

Quick question regarding PayPal
So, looking ahead to the beginning of next year when we finally make the switch to USD—will any funds sitting in my PayPal account just automatically convert over to USD? Or am I going to have to deal with the headache of withdrawing my cash in the old currency and then trekking down to a local bank to swap it all out?
I ask because, as of right now, I’m checking the app and I don't see both currencies listed side-by-side yet—just the current one.

Is it actually possible to link this card to a PayPal account for transfers? Basically, I’m wondering if I could connect it to PayPal, send funds from my PayPal balance directly onto this card, and then use those funds to buy some Bitcoin?
#517 ·
Has anyone here actually tried dropping a massive amount of cash at a terminal? I’ve been reading that the limit is $1667 max.
Is there any chance PayPal might flag the transaction and freeze my funds—kind of like how Chime can be such a headache—or will the merchant just start complaining about the amount?

I think the limit per transaction at the register is $667, but you can technically make multiple deposits throughout the day. Personally, though, I probably wouldn't rely on doing that more than twice. I'm pretty sure there are monthly limits too, so I wouldn't suggest trying to push large sums through Cash App. You do you.
