When it comes to fees, they’ve dropped significantly since we switched over to the dollar. Incoming transfer fees for dollar transactions have to be uniform, whether it’s a domestic wire or an international one (I'm not entirely sure if that applies to third-party countries, but for the US, it holds up)

But really, the real question I find myself pondering is whether this actually holds water for businesses too—you know, specifically regarding those incoming transfers hitting a corporate checking account?

Go ahead, cheer us up. Give us something to look forward to.

I'm with them on this one,

I’ve been trying to run everything through PayPal whenever possible because, honestly, they really do provide solid service.

The routing and account numbers stay exactly the same, so you just copy them over once into your saved payees and you're set! All you have to do is type in the amount from your statement each month. Or, better yet—and this is the real pro tip—if the bill is a fixed amount, like your Verizon wireless plan or your trash collection, just set up an autopay. Then you never have to lift a finger again!
Here is a quick look at how I set mine up:

That’s just not true. The payment info isn't always identical; they change the specific transaction details every single month alongside the base info.

Maybe you could actually be specific for once? How long have you been dealing with this, and which specific services are we even talking about?

During the first month, they changed the dial code because of the switch to the dollar. Customer service told me I could still use the old number and that the payment would go through just fine.

It definitely works. I can speak from experience on that one.

I’m dying to know who actually runs PayPal? Like, when I go through the registration process, who am I really handing all my private data over to?

What I'm actually wondering about is...
who decides if:
the reference number equals the invoice number

the bank where the account is held,
automatically converts that reference into an invoice number
so the account holder doesn't even have to deal with the reference itself...

or if the user has to manually "convert" the reference into an invoice number themselves...

I've been working with some local contractors who still struggle with basic math, like comparing apples to oranges...
trying to convert dollars to cents...

so I'm a "BIT" skeptical about how they would handle a "reference" number.
😁

Yeah, sure, but honestly? That info doesn't really tell me much at all. 😬

So, what kind of data actually moves the needle for you?

CNN wrote an article about them the other day. Some guy I don't recognize, just some local reporter.☕

I’m not even sure what you’re actually asking here. You can dig up the owner's name from corporate filings in two seconds, but honestly, would that even matter to you?

Look, you’re giving the data to PayPal. They’ve got the official license from the Federal Reserve to handle electronic money. 🙂

Is it actually possible to pick up some Bitcoin using their debit card or bank account?

Quick heads-up for the folks over at Cash App if you're reading this—please, just add your card to Apple Pay already! Otherwise, I’m officially done using the app; there is simply no way I'm lugging around a bulky wallet just to accommodate your card.

I’ve been sitting around for a week waiting on a payment confirmation from JP Morgan Chase. Their excuse? They're apparently "swamped" with emails.
Bottom line: if you actually need a receipt right away, don't bother using Cash App. Go ahead, save a couple of bucks on fees just to deal with this headache later. 😁
