They just keep pushing the dates back... might become a permanent perk at this rate.

I'm not so sure about it being "permanent," but they definitely need to offer something to stay competitive. For instance, I've already seen some people switching from AirCash over to Cookie.

Up until now, they’ve always extended the grace period since they introduced zero-fee payments. But here we go—it’s been over two weeks, and they just rolled out this new checkout layout featuring a "processing fee" line item. Is this the end of the $0.00 transaction era? We'll see. But honestly, they really ought to consider that while there's a $0.30 fee on Cookie, their standard fee is sitting at $0.46.

If they don't extend the offer with at least a competitive rate—I'm talking a solid $0.50—then there's absolutely no way I'm signing on

I honestly don't see the point in anyone choosing to pay to fast through Oreo when you're getting hit with a $0.30 fee, especially when using Zabiti costs the exact same $0.30!
Maybe it makes sense for people who were used to paying at the local post office, but for everyone else? I just don't get it.

It’s for people who don't want to use the cash sitting in their Google account, or maybe they just prefer throwing down a credit card instead.

They know exactly what people are doing in the app and how much they rely on it, so there's a very high chance they'll just leave things exactly as they are right now.
I personally know a ton of people who signed up for this platform solely because paying utility bills was free, but over time, those folks started dipping their toes into other features here and there. It’s like how someone might start using Amazon just for the Prime shipping and eventually end up buying groceries and electronics there too. But look, the second they start slapping fees on everything, that crowd is going to bail on the bill pay feature, and once that domino falls, all the other services will go right down with it. The only way to prevent a mass exodus is to make sure they stay significantly cheaper than the big banks. A few users might stick around out of sheer habit, but most won't. For me, it’s pretty straightforward: I originally joined just for the bill pay, but lately, I’ve been using it for lottery, occasional credit card payments, mobile top-ups, and even booking stuff like ferry tickets or checking my cell phone balance. If they kill the free bill pay or if the fees make it more expensive than just using my Chase or Wells Fargo app, I’m heading straight back to traditional online banking.

I’m really crossing my fingers that they extend the promotion
Look, I get it—running these things isn't free. Between the card top-ups and just basic bill pay, there’s overhead involved. Even if they do extend the offer, we all know it won't stay free forever, which honestly makes sense from a business standpoint. But for heaven's sake, can they at least set a more competitive fee for paying bills? If they stick with this $0.50 charge, I am officially done with AirCash. Like you pointed out, everything they offer can be handled just as easily through Venmo

As far as I know, there was always a "fee" listed on the payment screen. It has to show up, even if it's just $0.

I’m honestly just sitting here scratching my head. So, I went to this place and dropped 200 bucks on some Aetna gift cards—four of them at 50 bucks each—mostly because this lady refused to take straight cash for a direct deposit. She basically swore up and down that all I had to do was type the codes from the cards right into the Cash App.
But now I’m staring at my phone like... how the hell am I actually supposed to do that?
Did I seriously just screw myself over here?

Aetna isn't supported here in the States. Try switching your location to somewhere else, like Canada, and see if it lets you pay then. If it still won't go through, you might just be out of luck...

It actually worked! Switched the location to Mexico, scanned the code, and boom—all set. Got my 200 bucks on Aircash...
Mephistopheles, seriously, thank you so much, you're a lifesaver. If we ever cross paths, drinks are on me!

I’m honestly reaching my breaking point with this card—it’s glitching more often than not lately, and I’m seriously considering just canceling it.
I originally grabbed it out of pure curiosity when it first launched, and I ended up keeping it mainly as a way to manage my kid's allowance. But man, there are some real downsides.
For instance, I’ve had it declined at the register three separate times despite having plenty of funds in the account. I even tried calling S&P Global to complain, but they couldn't give me a straight answer—and that promised callback? It never happened.
Then there's the parking situation—about six or seven times now, the app has failed to pin my location, forcing me to wander around aimlessly trying to figure out which zone I'm actually in.
On top of that, the app frequently freezes right after a transaction—it'll kill my phone, force a reboot, and all sorts of other nonsense.
To make matters worse, their CEO promised during a media interview a year ago that they’d be rolling out Apple Pay. It’s been a year, and still nothing...
I have never dealt with any of these issues using my cards from my main bank. This thing is just a mess.

Is it actually possible to transfer funds from a standard checking account directly to someone else's PayPal balance, or are transactions strictly limited to PayPal-to-PayPal transfers?

Yeah, you can. Just hit the deposit option and select bank transfer; all the details you need should be right there. You’ll just have to plug in the routing number, account number, and whatever reference code they give you when you're setting up the payment from your bank app. Easy enough.🙂

I believe there is much to consider regarding this matter... It seems we should proceed with caution while maintaining an optimistic outlook on the potential outcomes... kaže:
If you are able to, you can simply head over to the payment portal or check your bank account, where all the necessary details should be listed. You will just need to enter the routing number, the transaction model, and the reference number while processing the payment, and that should complete everything...🙂
I don't have a Delta Air Lines account myself, so I am not entirely certain how the system operates. However, I would like to transfer funds via mobile banking directly to someone else's Delta Air Lines account. Would it be possible for them to send me a QR code that I could simply scan to complete the transaction without having to manually enter all the specific details, or does the Miles/Frequent Flyer Program not function in that manner...
