Hi everyone 😉

I'm a 24-year-old woman from Washington, D.C., looking to meet other women my age for coffee, movies, theater, or just hanging out whenever we feel like it. Between work and how life just happens, some old friendships have drifted apart, so I’d love to find a group where things won't fall apart just because someone gets busy with their career 🎉 It would actually be even better if I could find a few like-minded women with similar interests so we could form a bigger group 👍

Character-wise, I’m pretty straightforward and generally laid-back and helpful, though I can be stubborn. That's about it for me—hoping this post brings some good luck 😁

Wishing everyone else the best of luck as well. Cheers 👋

If anyone is feeling up for a movie in Washington, D.C. this Monday, please let me know. I don't really mind who comes along—men, women, doesn't matter to me at all..
I'll take care of the tickets, and we can just decide on what to watch once we're together.
Best..😉

Greetings. 33-year-old male here. I’ve been living in Savannah for about a month now. I'm an IMDb enthusiast, a gamer, and a collector. My interests are varied—puzzles, gardening, nature, road trips, walking... you name it. I'm looking for friends, ideally local to Savannah. I have no prejudices and consider myself quite tolerant. I am a serious, communicative, and patient individual. I enjoy going to the cinema, taking walks, or heading out on excursions. While I'm perfectly capable of doing most things solo, some company for decent conversation would be welcome. Just a heads-up: I tend to write long messages; if that bothers you, just say so. Depending on my mood, I'll either talk about myself or dive into specific topics. I actually have some ideas for starting a film club or something similar, but we can discuss that later.
If you're only interested in messaging, that's fine. If you need someone who will simply listen, that's also fine. Regarding personal issues—everyone has them. Mine are mine, and there's no need to burden you with them. However, it would mean a lot to have someone to build a sense of closeness and trust with, someone to talk to when things get difficult. I offer the same in return.
I’d love to share experiences, much like my trip from the Appalachian Mountains down to Newport. To exchange stories, hear advice, and learn. There is always something new to grasp. As for problems, I'll help where I can. But experience has taught me that we ultimately have to solve our own issues. The worst thing is repeating mistakes without moving forward. I don't consider myself complicated; I'm just cultured, serious, and a fan of horror. I enjoy life, I stay positive, and having moved past plenty of obstacles, I keep moving. I value people who work on themselves, who appreciate what they have, and who either live every day to the fullest or know how to simply relax and take time for themselves.
P.S.
Location isn't an issue for me. I've spent years navigating public transit and I love traveling. If you're in Washington, D.C., no problem. If you're near the coast, great—I enjoy a cold beer by the ocean. Everything is negotiable. And if you just want endless texting, that's your call.

26-year-old woman from the Midwest—originally from a smaller town, but settled in the heartland now—looking to make some new connections. Honestly, I tend to hang out with guys more often; I grew up around them, so I’m used to their sense of humor and our shared love for gaming. That said, I’d really love to find a girl to chat with—someone to dive into "girl talk" with. It’s been way too long since I’ve had that kind of female friendship.
I love: cats, dragons, fantasy novels, horror movies, art, horses (and riding!), and lounging by the pool. 😁

What I don't like: two-faced people—mostly women who play games and act cold once they get what they want—and I definitely hate being misunderstood. I actually lost my best friend because she chose her boyfriend over me after we had a falling out.

Regarding zodiac signs, I seem to always be surrounded by Virgos. 😁

Hey there.👋

I don't know, if there's any girl who isn't feeling like staying in tonight, maybe we could walk around town, grab a bite, whatever—zero pressure 🙂
I'm not looking for a relationship, just some new people to meet. I need to get out of my comfort zone, so if anyone else feels the same way, let me know 🙂
Anyway, I'm from Washington, D.C., 27 years old, bearded, and short enough that you could probably steal my burger right out of my hands, but hey, it is what it is 🙂

Washington, D.C., ..39yo guy here. Life just sort of pulled everyone in different directions—people drifted apart after the war, had to find new circles, jobs out of state, or just start families elsewhere.
All that stuff probably leaves some kind of emotional or mental scar on you, I guess. You gotta figure out how to deal with it and move on, whether that’s solo or with someone... dealing with depression, isolation, and just feeling lost in the shuffle.

I'm here because I actually want to meet a solid, interesting friend under 40—someone I can actually stay in touch with, hang out with regularly, maybe hit some trails in the Appalachian Mountains, or just get the hell out of the city for a bit.
Obviously, I need someone who gets it, because let's be real, this other person has their own baggage too. We should be able to support each other—just a good, two-way street of mutual support. Looking for someone chill, but also capable of opening up about their own life and how they see things.

I want zero awkwardness, zero misunderstandings, and no shady vibes. Just someone who’s a good listener and actually willing to see things from my side, too. I'm not about the drama—I'm pretty understanding and I think everything can be worked out if both people are actually down to make it happen.
We all need smart, decent, interesting people around us. If fate or just bad luck means we don't have those people in our family, we have to turn to strangers and build new foundations from scratch. It isn't easy, but honestly, nobody shows up here just out of curiosity—we're here because we need to find someone to build a little world of our own with.

I'm looking for a strong woman—not physically, but mentally. Someone who can actually handle me. Honestly, hanging out with guys just isn't hitting the mark right now unless it's strictly 1:1... I'm just tired of hearing the same old stories year after year.
I’m 33. It’s not like my life is over or anything, and I’m not necessarily hunting for a serious relationship right this second... I just really miss having actual interaction with women.
Yeah, look, I deal with mental health issues. Heavy ones. But that hasn't stopped me from pushing forward. I still carry the stigma, which makes things tougher... San Diego is my small town, and man, I love it... but I clearly can't find my footing there. Remember that radio segment about the "lost generation"? Well, that generation lost everything and ended up creating yet another lost generation.
I'm well-educated, talkative when I get going, depressed at times, prone to vices, and—let's be real—I can seem unstable.
Just chatting with a woman would do me some good, provided she isn't too young... honestly, I usually prefer older women anyway.
I'm expecting zero messages. Goodbye.

Life happened, and I ended up losing a bunch of friends along the way. Honestly, I’m just done with negative people. It’s a small circle now—maybe a little lonely, whatever—but I'm putting myself out there.
I'm looking for actual, solid friends (mostly girls, but guys are cool too) to grab coffee, hit the bars, travel, or just hang out. More importantly, I want someone I can actually talk to—someone to swap advice with, lean on, and who'll be there when things get messy. Basically, looking for lifelong people. If you're always down for whatever (not that "I'm tired" or last-minute flakey stuff), honest, and actually want to build a real friendship instead of just surface-level stuff, hit me up. Based in Washington, D.C. Between 18 and 25. Shoot me a DM. 👍

Still works for me.

I’ve posted an ad here once before and ended up meeting some truly wonderful people, so there’s really no reason not to give this another shot and expand my social circle... 🙂
I realize this isn't exactly "Lonely Hearts" territory and it might come across as a bit cliché, but I would love to hear from any single women who are interested in getting to know someone. I’ve actually opened up about my struggles with social anxiety and depression over on Psychosoft, so I’m hoping it might be a little easier to find a kindhearted woman here who is either understanding of those issues or perhaps navigating them herself... Anyway, I’m 29 years old and living in Washington, D.C. So, there you have it—my inbox is wide open 🙂

I'm looking for a friend or a friend to chat with online—maybe even grab a coffee or go for a walk if you aren't living a million miles away from me.
To be totally honest, I’ve been feeling pretty low lately and realized I don't really have anyone to talk to. So, if you're going through something similar, please feel free to reach out.
By nature, I'm definitely more of an introvert.

Male, 32, living in the Midwest.

Anyone from San Francisco looking to connect? Age and gender don't matter to me. What matters is that you aren't judgmental and don't spend all your time gossiping. It’s a huge plus if you’re self-aware, maybe a bit spiritual, and actually enjoy diving into deep conversations. As for me, I’m a bit of a geek—I live for computers and programming. I also have a passion for psychology, reading non-fiction, and meditating. I’ve moved around quite a bit over the years, which unfortunately meant losing touch with a lot of friends. On top of that, I’m pretty introverted; I’ve set some pretty high goals for myself, which caused me to put making new friends on the back burner. I want to change that. Character-wise, I’ve always been more of a Lone Wolf, and I’ve been thinking about how cool it would be to gather a "pack" of individuals—people who aren't conformists, but rather people who prefer to think for themselves. I believe there is so much to learn from those who strive to be authentic. These types of people tend to be lonelier, so if you get what I'm saying and want to help form a wolf pack, reach out. 🙂
And if you're just looking for a one-on-one connection, let me know that too! 😉

Just a woman hitting her absolute worst years... honestly, everything is just falling apart at once... 😁 Look, just to be crystal clear about where I stand... I’m strictly looking for friendship here. Honestly, you can never have too much good company in this life, but that’s really where I draw the line...

I honestly couldn't care less about them...
So, basically... fashion, makeup, hitting the mall, and just general retail therapy...
Honestly, if you ask me, there’s nothing quite like those late nights out where the drinks just keep coming and the energy stays high... though my liver definitely disagrees the next morning... It’s that specific vibe when you’re hitting up all the best spots in the city, maybe grabbing a cocktail in downtown Chicago or just wandering through a dive bar, and everything feels perfectly effortless until someone inevitably suggests one more round... and then suddenly it's 3 AM and you're wondering how you even ended up there... turns out, a little bit of liquid courage goes a long way, especially when the night is young and the music is loud...
Honestly, looking at our local music scene and the general cultural vibe lately... it’s just such a mess, isn't it? We’re talking everything from that cheap, tacky pop stuff to those aggressive, low-brow club tracks that basically sound like a headache set to a beat, and then you look at what's actually playing on TV... it’s like the whole country is just collectively deciding to lower the bar into the dirt... and honestly, sometimes I wonder if anyone's even trying to make anything meaningful anymore, or if we're all just content with this shallow, neon-soaked nonsense being shoved down our throats 24/7...
It’s like that specific brand of humor you see in *How I Met Your Mother*, or maybe even a bit like those *nad lipa* sketches... you know, that vibe where it's just pure, unadulterated cringe, but somehow it works because it's so awkward... 😛)
Man, there is honestly nothing quite like the absolute madness of a live game day... just that raw, unhinged energy when you're sitting in the stands, surrounded by thousands of people who are all losing their minds over a single play... it’s that specific kind of beautiful chaos where everyone becomes family for three hours, screaming until your throat is raw and you can barely hear yourself think... whether it's some high-stakes matchup in Chicago or a gritty Friday night lights vibe in a small Texas town, that collective roar from the crowd is something you just can't replicate on a TV screen, no matter how much you try... it's about the tension, the shared heartbreak when things go south, and those moments of pure, unadulterated euphoria that make all the yelling worth it... honestly, if you haven't felt that rush, you're seriously missing out on one of the best parts of being alive...
It’s honestly wild how you’ve got everyone from the hardcore religious crowd to the total New Age types and even those die-hard David Icke followers all swirling around in the same chaotic energy... it’s like they’re all reading from different scripts but somehow stumbling onto the exact same plot twists...

Now that I've finally dealt with that awkward little situation, I am absolutely loving life...
I’m talking about the whole spectrum of music—everything from gritty rock and indie vibes to smooth jazz, soulful melodies, deep blues, and even that heavy classical stuff...
So, what's everyone actually reading lately? I'm talking the deep stuff—high fantasy epics that take forever to finish, mind-bending sci-fi that makes you question reality, the heavy-hitting classics, or whatever else you guys happen to be obsessed with... I'm looking for something to really sink my teeth into, so don't hold back on the recommendations...
Movies and shows... honestly, where do you even start with that whole rabbit hole... there's just so much junk out there lately...
I mean, honestly, let's talk about animals and the great outdoors for a second... because sometimes you just have to step away from the screen and realize there’s a whole massive, unpredictable world out there that doesn't care about your notifications or your endless scrolling... it's kind of wild when you really think about it, how we spend all our time staring at pixels while actual living, breathing creatures are just doing their thing in the woods or out by the coast... it makes everything else feel so small and unnecessary, you know?
Just... philosophizing about absolutely nothing at all...
Just coffee and pastries... nothing else needed...
I mean, honestly... if you really think about it, it’s just kind of... well, it is what it is, right? It’s just... yeah...

If you look at what’s listed here and think there might be some common ground between us, don't be shy—hit me up! Honestly, age doesn't matter to me, since we're way past our school days anyway... As for where I'm located, I'll save that little reveal for when we actually start talking privately. Cheers!

So, current status: I’m dealing with introversion, depression, and anxiety. Honestly, navigating big crowds or huge social scenes isn't exactly my forte, which is a huge part of why I'm posting this here. I'm really just looking for that one-on-one connection with someone who actually gets it—or better yet, someone who’s riding the same wave. You know that feeling when your own brain starts pulling you straight to the bottom? Yeah, that. But hey, I’m not giving up on myself just yet! I truly believe it’s a lot easier to climb out of that hole when you have someone to share the heavy thoughts and fears with.
I'm not quite ready to dive into all my hobbies and interests just yet, but hopefully we can chat about that in the DMs. My inbox is wide open for anyone dealing with the same stuff, similar struggles, or even if things are a little darker. Even if you don't have a formal diagnosis, reach out.
Just in case it matters, I'm a 30-year-old woman.

Hello, just reposting this:
I'm a 23-year-old woman living in San Diego, looking for some new friends to hang out with. Just to be clear, I’m not looking for a boyfriend or a girlfriend here—strictly platonic vibes. I don't find constant texting particularly thrilling, though I guess I wouldn't say no to it if it goes that way.
I'm big into reading and music. I have a serious weakness for coffee and pastries, and I enjoy photography, but honestly, nothing beats getting lost in a good book. I'm not currently in school, but I haven't landed a job yet either (fingers crossed).

Washington, D.C. ..Man, 39 years old—life just kind of forced everyone to go their separate ways. After everything went down back then, people split up; you had to find a new crowd, grab a job out of state, or just start building a family elsewhere.
All that probably leaves some kind of emotional or mental scar on us—you gotta deal with that and figure out how to move forward, whether you're flying solo or with someone else... depression, isolation, just feeling lost in the shuffle.

I'm here because I actually want to meet a good, interesting friend under 40—someone I can talk to regularly, hang out with, hit some trails, go hiking, or just get the hell out of the city and into the woods.
I definitely need someone who gets it—because let’s face it, the other person has their own baggage too, and we all need support. It's gotta be a two-way street where we actually back each other up... looking for someone chill, but also able to open up about their own life and how they see things.

I'm not looking for drama, misunderstandings, or weird, vague vibes. Just someone who's a good listener and ready to actually understand the person they're hanging out with. I don't do outbursts—I'm pretty understanding and most things can be worked out if both people are actually on the same page.
We all need smart, interesting people around us—especially if, by some stroke of luck or fate, we don't have them in our immediate family. We turn to strangers to build a foundation for what comes next. It isn't easy, but honestly, none of us are even here out of curiosity—we're here because we need to try and find someone to build a little world with.

Hi everyone. 🙂
I am looking to start by finding a female friend from Washington, D.C. for correspondence, hanging out, or perhaps something more; I am open to anything.
I am male, somewhat introverted, and prone to occasional nerves, though I become quite pleasant company once I relax. I am also a bit of a geek. I generally avoid crowded clubs or smoky venues. Instead, I prefer walks through a park or more laid-back settings. I enjoy music and grabbing coffee, but I am certainly open to other activities like board games, video games, or whatever else we might have in common. I find unexpected conversation topics very engaging, though I would be incredibly grateful if we could avoid discussing technology too much; I am surrounded by that information all day long, so something new would definitely bring some freshness. I am quite open-minded regarding most things, provided there are positive vibes. Please, do not be someone who places extreme importance on religion, and please, stay away from heavy country music—it honestly drains my soul and makes me feel like I’m losing brain cells, haha. For everything else, there are no issues. 🙂

I am 24 years old. The age range I am looking for is roughly +/- 5 years. I consider myself a liberal person and a good listener. I can be a shoulder to cry on, a keeper of secrets, or a serious person when the topic calls for it. At the same time, my laughter is infectious, and I promise I will try to coax a smile onto your face—a real, genuine one. 🙂.
It does not matter to me what your history is or whether you have gone through a difficult period. I don't care much for dwelling on my own past either; I believe it is always better to look forward. If you are craving laughter and companionship above all else, please do not hesitate to send me a private message. I will be waiting... 🍿
