Hey there!

Since life has been feeling like a total drag lately, I decided to dust off this old account in hopes of finding a little spark!

To be honest, things have been pretty incredibly dull on my end, and when I say pretty, I really mean it’s borderline soul-crushing. My daily routine basically just revolves around heading to work, blasting some music, and paying for a gym membership that I definitely don't use nearly enough.👍 And chasing the Sun. 😳

I wouldn't call myself someone with a ton of flashy hobbies, and I'm probably not the most high-energy person to hang out with. I don't play any instruments, and I haven't even had the energy to sit through a movie or a series lately.

Major props to anyone who actually made it through reading all of this, because you're clearly just as bored as I am.

I've got a soft spot for sarcasm, indie and rock music, smoking, and having a drink now and then. Every so often I'll dive into a book, take the dog for a walk, or finally wipe the dust off my bike. Honestly, the absolute highlight of my day is usually just tripping over something and getting a tiny little rush of adrenaline from the stumble.

I'm not much of a fan of the super religious types.

So, yeah.

I'm a 27-year-old guy, and I'd say I'm easy on the eyes. For those wondering about location, I'm living out in the Midwest.

I'm really just looking for someone to chat with, though if you're looking for something more serious, you'll probably need to be a professional model. Sorry about that! 🕺

Look, if you’re out there struggling to find your footing after getting tangled up in some toxic nightmare with an emotional abuser, please, just reach out to me. Seriously, don't hesitate. I’ve been through the absolute wringer myself, so I actually get it. If enough of us end up connecting, maybe we could even grab coffee or meet up in person to vent, swap stories, and actually back each other up because, let’s be real, people around here just don't get it. Most of the time, your friends or family won't wrap their heads around how messed up those relationships really are or the wreckage they leave behind in your head—at least, that’s how it went for me. Honestly, unless you’ve lived through that specific kind of hell, you can't truly understand. I'm really hoping this reaches someone who needs it and that at least one person hits me up. Thanks.

I'm a 24-year-old woman who basically lives on caffeine, loves getting a little high, and stays up way too late having those deep, existential conversations. I also find myself talking endlessly about my mental health struggles and various disorders (so if there's a therapist type out there, feel free to chime in) 😁 I'm looking for someone to vibe with and get elevated with—someone curious, maybe a bit eccentric, because honestly, I just love weirdos. So, if that sounds like you... hit my inbox 🕺

If there are any girls or women here in their 20s or 30s who feel like they’re unattractive and struggling because of it, hit me up. Maybe we can swap stories and make things feel a little less heavy. 🙂

And to anyone feeling themselves: please spare me the "it's not that bad" or "someone will love you for who you are" pep talks. Seriously, just keep it to yourself—I dealt with enough of that last time I posted here.

I’m really hoping there’s an actual woman on this forum willing to reach out, and not some guy hiding behind a female profile just to troll people online. Those types wouldn't have the guts to say this to my face anyway.

briskbadger20 said:Hi everyone 😉

I'm a 24-year-old woman from Washington, D.C., looking to meet other women my age for coffee, movies, theater, or just hanging out whenever we feel like it. Between work and how life just happens, some old friendships have drifted apart, so I’d love to find a group where things won't fall apart just because someone gets busy with their career 🎉 It would actually be even better if I could find a few like-minded women with similar interests so we could form a bigger group 👍

Character-wise, I’m pretty straightforward and generally laid-back and helpful, though I can be stubborn. That's about it for me—hoping this post brings some good luck 😁

Wishing everyone else the best of luck as well. Cheers 👋

P.S. I don't have any mental health diagnoses and would prefer to meet people who don't have an F-code diagnosis either 🙂

If anyone else is looking to head out somewhere for a drink but doesn't have anyone to go with, please reach out! Maybe we could put a little group together, or even just grab a beer somewhere nearby? 🙂

I'm in my twenties, by the way.

Look, not everyone on here has a formal diagnosis, but let's be real—most people are dealing with *something*. I can't really say if it makes much of a difference to you whether someone has a medical paper proving their struggles or if they're just dealing with the same stuff without the paperwork. But seeing your post made me think you might want to try posting over here too -> Disney - Taylor - Classifieds: Wash

Good luck 🙂

I figured I’d drop a little something about myself here, so if anyone feels a vibe, just reach out (and don't wait too long).

If it matters, I'm 27—personally, I don't care, and I’d hope you don't either.

I'm really looking for a deep connection, someone who shares my thoughts, my actions, and my feelings. Sometimes my ego gets way too loud and takes over everything else until I finally realize what's happening and ground myself again, which is what I call getting "back into the feeling."

I've always had a thing for words and how they fit together; there used to be this intense poetic imagery in my head, but nowadays, everything feels poetic, even just being on this forum. I find joy in expressing myself. I'd love to write both long and short pieces, though honestly, I struggle to find the energy for it sometimes.

It seems like I used to be prone to creating these heavy mental images, like objectifying women—kind of like how certain movies do it—but once I realized I was doing that, I worked hard to tear those views down and move past them. Luckily, I'm also at the other extreme, being very grounded and observant, so breaking those habits wasn't foreign to me. I deal with these weirdly opposing extremes within myself quite often.

I tend to get pretty obsessive about looking at what’s actually "behind" things, trying to figure out how everything is put together.

Socializing isn't really my thing; most of the time, I just don't click with people.

I love being captivated by life. I love the little moments.

I love watching the Sun rise and set, and seeing the colors shift in the clouds.

I'm into history and poetry, and I often feel this obsessive urge to talk about those things with people, though I rarely do because it feels like most people aren't interested in that level of intensity.

I don't really fit in with crowds where the whole point is just constant joking around. I'd much rather be focused on more serious stuff I'm working on than constantly cracking jokes or trying to be funny; I just don't act that way, and I don't really want to. That doesn't mean I don't have a sense of humor, obviously.

A bit of a trivia nerd.

I have a tendency toward being sentimental, even reaching that cheesy level you see in a Duke movie.

It makes me uncomfortable to gossip about people or talk about what they're doing when they aren't around, especially if I don't fully trust the person I'm talking to. Live and let live.

I went through some heavy OCD, and I still feel the fallout from it today in the form of anxiety, depression, and some pretty intense trouble concentrating.

I've experienced derealization and depersonalization, and I even leaned into them at times while exploring consciousness and existence. It was vital for me to see what lay beneath the surface—that's just one of my traits, always looking behind the curtain. Those states weren't pleasant, but they actually helped me work through my OCD.

I have an interest in neuroscience and math, though I haven't really studied them formally (I only feel a pull toward them when I think about potentially diving in), and I have a philosophical approach to life (which might not be appropriate for everyone).

There's a constant swirl of sensations in me, like a palimpsest of thoughts, feelings, memories, and external stimuli. I'm quite sensitive to physical things; for instance, autumn always triggers a very specific feeling in me.

I'd love to live in the Canary Islands (not like I'm running away from the Hague with any worries)🤣 because it's always warm and sunny there, making you feel like you're on a permanent afternoon vacation.

Sometimes I expressed my joy through tears—like how I used to cry just because we were alive.

Anyway, that should be enough. This post stays up, but I might not respond immediately since I'm not online all the time.

I'm looking for someone to go to small shows with, maybe hit up a club in the Swamp to dance to psytrance, smoke, be a cuddle buddy (I'm big on touch and cuddling), or just talk about history, global injustices, poetry, art, Lego bricks, have some spicy conversations, bake weed brownies, shoot some low-budget movies, and stuff like that.

Introverted woman in her thirties looking to meet some new people. I don't really care about specific personality types as long as you're actually a decent, positive human being. I already have my core group of friends who I love, but I'm feeling like expanding my circle with some interesting 😉

I spend a lot of time overthinking everything from the deep stuff to the trivialities, and I'm big on nature, staying active... grabbing coffee and just chatting with girlfriends, spontaneous outings and all that... if this sounds like your vibe, feel free to reach out 🙂

I’m a guy, turning 24 soon, and I deal with some social phobia, social anxiety, and a touch of mild depression.
I live just outside of Pittsburgh. Primarily, I’m looking to meet someone in person, but if there isn't anyone nearby, I'm more than happy to chat online via Facebook, Instagram, Skype, Viber, or whatever works best for you.
As for who I am, I really gravitate toward deep, meaningful conversations. I'm a big fan of documentaries and science, and I enjoy catching a movie every now and then. I'm not much of a party person—I actually find long walks much more my speed.
I don't mind at all if the people I get close to are dealing with their own struggles, and I'm a huge animal lover.

Someone who’s unstable yet thinks they’re stable. Shaq. D.C. As if they should just be playing board games and sipping lattes. Preferably lost somewhere in their late 20s.

College student, 22 years old, living in San Francisco.

I’m really into photography and film—basically anything involving software, production, shooting, and editing. I also have a deep appreciation for poetry, exclusively foreign music, and getting lost in those late-night, philosophical, dreamy conversations. To be honest, I can't stand the club scene, getting wasted, or smoking excessively. I deal with depression, but I don't intend on burdening anyone with that unless they express an interest in hearing about it...

I am looking strictly for friendship with people around my age (+/- 3 years). I'm open to grabbing coffee too.

Hey everyone. I'm a 27-year-old guy living in Washington, D.C. I deal with social anxiety, and over the years, I've kind of withdrawn into myself and struggled with depression. Sometimes it’s hard to just relax when I'm around people; I get sweaty, turn red, and panic hits,
but I guess it really depends on the situation and how my confidence is feeling that day.
I'm not much of a talker, mostly because I struggle to find things to say—I don't always have topics to bring up. If anyone else feels the same way and wants to chat, let me know.
Maybe we could even meet up in person sometime.
It doesn't matter where you're from, what you look like, or even how old you are.

Hey, I'm 35 and looking for a girl or a new female friend around the Cleveland area to chat with. If we hit it off, maybe we can turn this into a real friendship, grab drinks, hang out, and see where things go.🙂

If there are any other hypersensitive individuals on this forum, I’d appreciate it if you reached out. Your lived experience and perspective on navigating life would be incredibly valuable to me. Specifically, I’m looking for practical advice on managing stress and finding ways to unwind... Send me a private message. Thanks.

Since I’m running a bit low on friends lately, and honestly, things have been pretty boring, I’m looking to connect with someone—even if it just starts as a virtual friendship. Though, if we actually find we have plenty to talk about, I wouldn't mind meeting up in person too :P
I'm a guy in my mid-twenties, currently based in Washington, D.C. or the surrounding areas, though I suppose location isn't strictly everything.

I don't have any official diagnoses (at least nothing confirmed 😁), but I'm more than willing to be a listening ear for anyone dealing with their own struggles. Sometimes it's just easier to open up to a stranger, you know? I know firsthand how much it helps to just have a shoulder to lean on when things get heavy.

We can discuss everything else via private message.

Looking for someone who’s finally found their voice—someone who wasn't always this talkative but is ready to dive in now. I'm down for some deep virtual chats about that, or honestly, just whatever is on your mind. If you're feeling it, hit me up. Let's kill some boredom and maybe help each other out along the way.
