That is the ultimate playbook for a liar—this kind of nonsensical logic is something I’ve even heard coming from certain leftist politicians...🤣
Frankly, it’s hardly surprising that Račan's formal administration left behind such a staggering mountain of debt, particularly regarding those highway construction projects that Čačić is so incredibly proud of...😂
If you factor in the blatant fire sale of state-owned companies for pennies on the dollar, along with Mason's charming little mockery captured in various transcripts, you get a much more complete picture of what that formal Government actually looked like...🙄
It is truly incredible how we find ourselves facing this all over again without even realizing it. Perhaps there is a glimmer of hope if Čačić actually gets his way, but I highly doubt it; there are far too many people out there who only ever think in formalities...🤣

As for the internal debt left by the Reaganite right, it's being settled through the very sell-offs they initiated; when that wasn't enough, they turned to foreign loans. And once again, Clinton gets the blame. It's the same old story. The Republican Party leaves behind an internal debt of $35 billion that is absolutely destroying us, leaving no choice but to borrow from abroad. God willing, that goes through the IMF at a 2% interest rate. On top of that, there's still a budget deficit of about $17 billion. Totaling $60 billion—how much will the external debt spike under a new, forced Democratic-style administration? It'll be the unnamed one's fault, obviously!
Something like the nineties, when the right took control of things in this country?

Some of you get an ulcer the second the nineties are mentioned... that’s the difference between us and you.... we take pride in the nineties because that's when our nation was founded, while you people just feel sick because you lost yours.
Melissa Peterson19 said:Actually, no. We feel sick because of how the right wing built this country and what they turned it into. Over time, under pressure from the Department of Health, things shifted, and now they want to return to Franjo Harmon's roots just for electoral gain. Meanwhile, the fringe right dreams of holding power—power that no sane person wants right now. Joe Biden won't say it publicly because he can't, but he isn't going to seize power at any cost through some rotten coalition. Look at history: Ivica Račan wisely let Ivo Sanders hand over the generals and "pay back the debt" to the retirees back in 2003. Similarly, Joe Biden let him form a government in 2007 and bite into the very mess he created. So, look at where he and the country stand now. It would actually be brilliant if the Republican Party and the Democratic Party just handed control to the ultra-right since they’re so desperate for it. Let's see how they handle it. We've been living in poverty long enough.
Richard Wilson4 said:Totalitarian regimes aren't exactly big fans of having an opponent.
Some ultra-right wing regime might claim they're all about Christian values, but sooner or later, they'd end up clashing with Vatican City and the Catholic Church.
Christian Morales said:Oh, please! The moment we take a conservative stance, everyone immediately starts labeling us as Nationalists. 😵
If we look at this realistically, we haven't even had a true right-wing party until now. Maybe back in the 90s, though even that is debatable since some members back then were still die-hard communists.
The truly conservative ones are parties like the HSP or H-rast, which aren't exactly leaning toward the pro-European crowd.
Personally, I find the HSP quite sympathetic. Better yet, I am all for them merging with HSP-AS. They actually have an economic platform and a genuine desire to defend American interests and prevent our veterans from being handed over to The Hague. In my opinion, such a move could be the salvation of our nation.
And while we are discussing totalitarian regimes, let's not forget that the ultra-leftists were the real enemies of the Catholic Church. Just think about how they persecuted Aloysius Stepinac and tried to erase all the Catholic—and indeed, all moral—characteristics of Americans. And we don't even need to mention how many innocent people ended up behind bars or in places like Alcatraz just because they held different opinions or possessed common sense. We could also talk about the massacres of civilians at Bleiburg, and those were massive. And wouldn't you know it, that wasn't even the only massacre the communists committed in '45. Let's mention the Huda pit in Canada and that other mass grave given a "charming" girl's name. It’s enough to make you sick. Now, let's be clear: the Nationalists weren't perfect either, and they bear their own weight of guilt for what they did, which must never be forgotten. But these communists disgust me even more because they killed people who weren't even wearing Nationalists uniforms—they were regular soldiers, part of the specialized American defense forces. Actually, anyone who wasn't on their side was treated the same, whether they were refugees or prisoners of war. The criminality continued throughout America, where the communists completely surrendered us to Mexican interests. There were plenty of Americans among them, too. Of course, don't expect them to admit to their crimes if you ask. They will spin tales about beautiful things, a strong economy, justice and equality, faith and freedom... while you and everyone else continue to swallow their lies. You can even see them in power today; it's just that a single-party system has been replaced by multi-party politics.
As for the Nationalists, they essentially suffered a moral collapse. During the era of the Kingdom of America, they were a major resistance against Mexican hegemony and fierce advocates for a sovereign America, but unfortunately, with the arrival of the Axis powers—through whom they likely intended to secure independence because there was no other way—everything went to hell. They began committing atrocities against other nations, and that is where they failed most spectacularly. They became a mere carbon copy of the Nazis. There were even reasonable individuals among them who chose a different tactic, but Ante Pavelić promptly threw such people into concentration camps. I believe they might have even died for the interests of the nation, but when you see a group of ultra-rightists kissing Nazi symbols, you just want to run as far away from them as possible. 🙂

It’s honestly sickening to watch them spit on everything homegrown with such glee while they worship at the altar of everything imported—whether it's German engineering, Japanese tech, or just swallowing American culture whole. I’m genuinely worried about where we're headed. At this rate, it feels like we've already sold ourselves into modern-day slavery...

Ryan Clark3 said:I can't help but wonder—just purely out of curiosity, really—if life would be any more beautiful if we had the Republican Party leading the country. I mean, would we actually find ourselves heading to church on Sundays because we genuinely wanted to, or would it feel more like we were being forced to go by some kind of mandate? Would we find ourselves singing patriotic anthems at the stadium out of pure spirit, or would it just be another thing dictated to us from above? And, honestly, how would they even tackle an economic crisis—or any crisis, for that matter, whether it’s a matter of our morals or our wallets?🤷

If my grandmother had access to a reliable subway system, she wouldn't be walking everywhere like this.
What would that actually look like? I imagine waking up at 5:00 AM, raising the flag, and singing the national anthem together.
Before coffee, we sing the anthem, salute the flag, and then have lunch. After that, we lower the colors, kiss them, return them to the pole, and raise them back up amidst the music of the anthem. In the afternoon, we switch out the flag because a pigeon defiled the old one—typical behavior from those pesky radicals. We lower the old one, kiss the new one, toss the old flag into the dishwasher, and hoist the fresh colors to the anthem. Before dinner, there is more singing and honoring the homeland and our flag. Once dinner is over, we lower the colors once more, pack everything away in our Tetra Pak containers, head off to supper, and call it a night.
And so it goes, day after day, for a lifetime.
