So I heard about this absolute creep running ads online who claims he only gives loans exclusively to women or girls... a friend of mine stumbled right into his trap, and I’ll have to ask her to send me the link just so I can see how ridiculous this is... basically, from everything she told me, the guy starts out by demanding all this personal info to "verify creditworthiness" and marital status, then moves on to asking for photos, and before you know it, he's pivoting into these twisted sexual schemes while pretending to be some kind of high-brow intellectual... in reality, he almost never actually hands out any money unless there's a sexual component involved... oh, and get this, the photo has to be a full-body shot... honestly, what a joke... 😵🤦

Give me a break🤣

Why does he have to make things so damn complicated instead of just paying the woman and calling it a day? 🙂

Honestly, I have no idea... maybe he’s actually a decent guy, or more likely, he’s such an eyesore that even a desperate woman wouldn't look his way... or perhaps the guy is just completely broke and uses charm to lure women in, and if things go south, he might actually get violent...

Some guy needs to step up and coordinate with a female friend to give him a serious reality check and beat some sense into him...

Yes, there's an ad on Craigslist for it. The guy is completely bizarre; honestly, I don't think he's all there. Everything points to the fact that he's just bartering sex for money, even if he won't say it outright. An unbelievable individual. 😵

And at the end of this whole ordeal, we’re still left staring at a blank wall because nobody can name a single soul who would actually lend money on a short-term basis with reasonable interest rates?

I feel like I’ve already covered this a few times.

The bottom line is that banks are the ones lending the money.
If a bank decides you're a credit risk, it simply means you haven't proven you can actually pay them back.
Why on earth would anyone take that gamble and hand you cash when the bank won't touch you?
And you think they'd do it at standard interest rates? Not a chance.

If you’re still looking for a way to scrape something together—say, if you have some assets you can put up as collateral—you might want to look into a pawn shop over in Oakland.

It's on Golden Gate, Neno1966, or Alexander Thompson.
They both satisfy A & B 😉

Wait, did you actually double-check with all three of them? I don't really recall you mentioning that... 🤔

Look, it doesn't necessarily have to be a standard interest rate. What I’m really trying to figure out are the other avenues available to me—you know, those "famous" interest rates people talk about when you're looking to borrow money? I want to know what the actual terms and conditions look like for pulling off a loan like that...
Of course, if anyone actually knows the answer here.

Oh, really? I know someone.😠
Actually, some people seem to harbor this peculiar delusion—that I’m just sitting on a mountain of cash waiting to hand out a few thousand dollars... 😠 interest-free and for just a couple of weeks... which inevitably stretches into several months...😠

Banks lend money.
Period.
If a bank (or any legitimate lender) won't give you the cash, there is usually a very obvious reason for that...

I'm looking for a personal loan, $10 with a six-month repayment window.
I'm currently employed, but since I switched jobs just last month, the big banks won't touch me. My salary is well above average, plus I bring in extra income through various freelance gigs.
To secure the deal, I can provide a notarized agreement along with a reasonable interest rate and a promissory note.
If anyone has any advice or leads...

The only reason I tagged you was because you had the last post on this thread.

Everyone’s forgetting that what he's doing is actually illegal, but he's trying to spin it as some kind of barter system or service exchange 😍, which I guess is his way of 'dodging' the law 😍

and btw, I think he thinks getting paid in trade is some kind of safety net for making sure he actually gets what he wants 😍

Here’s my deal:

I’m 25 and I just landed a gig on a cruise ship here in the States. Passed the Skype interview, and the company is covering my flight and hotel to get to the ship. The catch? I gotta front the cash for my visa ($383), my passport renewal—not sure if the fees stayed the same, honestly ($150), and my medical exam ($433).

The thing is, I'm unemployed, totally broke, and don't have anything to pawn. I’d ask friends or family, but right now, nobody's got it to spare.

If anyone knows someone who could lend me some cash—we can make it official with a contract and a set interest rate.

I’d pay it back literally two weeks after I head out, since they pay us every two weeks on the ship.
I'm even down to have someone pay the bills directly instead of giving me the cash, just so everyone knows I'm not trying to scam anyone...

So, I’ve got a bit of a situation and was hoping someone might have some insight... I'm looking to get a loan from $3.25. I'm only 19, but I actually managed to land a job with a permanent contract, and I've been getting my paychecks consistently for the last three months now. The thing is, I’ve already tried a few different big banks—like Chase or Wells Fargo—but they keep turning me down because I haven't hit that six-month mark of steady income yet. It feels like such a Catch-22, you know? Does anyone know of a specific bank or maybe a credit union that might be a bit more flexible and actually approve a loan for someone in my shoes?

If you can just hang in there for another three months, you'll finally be able to 😉... honestly, it won't feel like nearly as long as it sounds right now.

Nah, it’s not that... he basically just blew his cash on legal fees just for the hell of it. What's the problem? The problem is they aren't paying him back.😬

....and nope, still no cash in sight, even after dragging things through the courts for seven years.☕

So, are you personally handing out loans? Because I could really use some $6.75. And frankly, what you're saying about contracts being invalid isn't quite right; an executed contract or a promissory note filed with a local agency carries real weight. If they actually pay up or settle, once you get a judgment, they can garnish wages or seize assets, which effectively freezes their accounts until you finally get your money.

Still, maybe try calling those numbers another ten or fifteen times... who knows, maybe they'll finally approve your credit application. If that fails, you might have better luck finding some sucker willing to swap cold hard cash for nothing but a pinky swear and a signed paper...

Or, since you clearly know the ropes here, why don't you start lending money to people who promise to pay you back based on nothing but their word? They'll offer huge interest rates just to get the cash, so the profit margins could be pretty massive... You could even do something like $33, where you get 120 back in just a month... That's where the real money is made, I guess...

I mean, honestly, I think he’s just some twisted individual who doesn't actually have any genuine affection to offer anyone; it feels more like he's just feeding off the situation to satisfy his own perverse little whims, if you know what I mean.

Which numbers am I supposed to call, exactly? And what do you mean by me starting a lending business? A contract and a promissory note notarized by a local official isn't exactly based on someone's "word," is it? As far as I know, a legally binding promissory note is definitely valid in court.
