I honestly wasn't expecting much given how the box office numbers looked, but man, this movie actually surprised me! It’s such a blast—just your classic, fun popcorn flick. My favorite part had to be that final half hour when the Birds of Prey finally team up. There was also this one hilarious scene with Harley Quinn right around then that had the whole theater cracking up. If I had one gripe, it's that Black Canary and especially Huntress barely get any backstory, even though they were super interesting additions to the mix. Most of the focus stays on Harley Quinn and Cassandra Cain. Heck, even that cop Renee (if I remember her name right?) ended up getting more screen time than Canary or Huntress. But overall? Definitely worth the watch! 7/10

I mean, you've gotta admit she was stunning in that Tarzan movie.

So, the movie decided to "emancipate" itself from its own title because apparently, that was too much work. Now it's just being called Birds of Prey. Warner Bros. is probably banking on this little tweak to squeeze out more cash by making it crystal clear to audiences who they’re actually watching. Or maybe they aren't. Who knows? Honestly, I doubt it'll make a lick of difference.

They can blame anyone and everyone except themselves, I guess. Honestly, I’ve put myself on a self-imposed cinema embargo this year, and nothing worth seeing has actually made the trip to the big screen.
But if I hadn't, I definitely would've gone to see it—even if I am just some "chauvinistic male pig."

I’m honestly curious to see what people think about Black Widow; I don't see it flopping, especially since the core audience is likely going to be mostly men anyway.🙄

In my view, there are really just two main reasons why a movie fails. The first one is this situation where they’re actually changing the title after it’s already been released, 🤦
but the second—and probably most important factor—is that nobody actually wanted this movie in the first place. From the moment it was announced, there just wasn't any hype or genuine interest surrounding it.

Oh man, how can you even compare her to Margot Robbie? Margot Robbie is stunning. She has this incredibly sweet smile and such a feminine face... plus, she's an amazing actress who seems to be leveling up her skills so fast.
Eva Green actually left me with a pretty bad impression—her acting felt off when I watched Penny Dreadful
. She just has this specific bone structure and those eyebrows 🤦 that make her look a bit gaunt and, well, kind of distorted to my eyes. 🕺

He’s basically describing Harley Quinn as this pop icon—sort of like if Taylor Swift decided to ditch the polished image and go full-on rebel for her own emancipation.
Honestly, he was being so incredibly positive about the whole thing that I’m actually feeling the urge to go watch it now.

She’s psychotic in the third part. But let's be real, Harley is a blast throughout the whole flick.

It was an okay movie, pretty entertaining. Personally, I thought it was better than Aquaman.
