@Edward Evans7
I went ahead and asked them just to be absolutely certain... and yeah—the m-token should be the fix we need.

Thinking about an M-credit up to 50k $0.00 through the mobile app—anyone been there? Any issues getting approved if they already sent the offer? Also, should I count that in my total debt load if I’m just a co-signer on someone else's loan and not actually paying it? Thanks.

Hey there,
I’ve got a bit of a (weird?) situation going on. I’ve been using my bank's mobile wallet for ages—back since they first rolled it out—using my debit card.
But honestly, I'm over it. I want to switch over to Apple Pay instead, so I added a different card to that. Everything seems set up right, the card is linked and Apple Pay is all active... everything looks good on paper. It feels like I've successfully turned off all the settings in my banking app, but whenever I open it, the phone asks if I want to set the bank's wallet as my default for contactless payments. Every single time, I hit "No"—well, I just tap "No," but I'm a polite person, so I imagine myself saying "thanks anyway" while I do it 😬 )
The thing is, every time I try to pay with my phone, it fails. I just get this annoying error message popping up along the lines of "Tap one card" or "Only one card allowed" or something like that 🤷
Is it possible that both my bank app and Apple Pay are trying to trigger at the exact same time, and the terminal just rejects them both? How can I stop the bank app from trying to use my old card now that I'm done with it, without having to just delete the whole app? Is there some way in iOS (just so we're clear, I'm on iOS) to specifically block that app from accessing the NFC chip if nothing else works? 😕

Just dive into your NFC settings, toggle on the contactless payment option, and make sure you select Apple Pay as your primary provider.

Yeah, I actually forgot to mention—I checked, and it’s definitely Apple Pay that was selected 🤷

Are you using the Chase mobile app?
If you are, try logging in and generating some new mobile payment codes, but do yourself a favor and reinstall the app first—it might actually work properly.
By the way, which specific Chase POS terminals are giving you trouble with Apple Pay? And which card do you have set as the default in your Apple Pay settings?

I’ve got my Revolut-like card loaded up in Google Pay, so I’m honestly not sure how to answer your question about where it might fail... so far, it’s worked fine at the pharmacy, at Walmart, and even at one Chase ATM (I mostly just went there to test it out)
I have the Chase app, so I'll give that trick you suggested a shot. For now, I went into my Chase settings on Android and set NFC access to "deny," but now I'm too lazy to actually walk down to the store just to see if it works :lijenost: I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow 😁

Alright.
If a pharmacy is still relying on a Chase POS terminal, then it’s no wonder they can't get things running smoothly. Personally, I had zero issues at Walmart this week; I just tapped through with Apple Pay using my Curve MASTERCARD.
The problem is that Chase contactless ATMs simply don't play nice with Google Pay.

Alright, just gonna answer my own question here—mostly because if anyone else runs into this later, they might actually find it useful: all you had to do was head into your Android settings and just block the Chase app from accessing NFC. Everything is working perfectly now, exactly how it should... 🙂

Down in the box—chat.
@mistycyclist68, here is
I forgot to mention... about a week ago, I set up my mobile authentication service without any issues—simple as that.
I haven't actually tested it for online payments yet, but I'm fairly certain it works just fine.
Thanks again.

Why am I not seeing transactions that I know for a fact are there?
Literally none of them. It just keeps telling me no transactions found.😕
It’s always been a bit glitchy, I guess, but now I’m honestly just fed up—I can't even see my own deposits.

Everything works fine on my end. Where exactly are you looking, and what are you even trying to find?
#235 ·
Well, I finally tracked it down myself.
Whenever I log into the app to check my balance, I always head straight over to cards, but under transactions, there’s absolutely nothing showing up. It's weird—my standard USD checking account shows zero activity, yet strangely enough, my foreign currency account actually has data there.🤔
I eventually found everything by logging into online banking, then navigating through balances and activity.

I wonder why it's no longer possible to activate the mobile banking app through the online portal?

Yeah, they've basically sidelined the online portal—you can't even adjust your transfer limits through it anymore... useless.
