If you’ve got an ad blocker running, kill it or just uninstall the thing entirely. Then try again.

Ugh, I’m having such a headache with my mobile wallet! >I've got an iOS device—specifically an iPhone 12, which definitely has NFC built-in—but for some reason, the option just isn't showing up in my wallet app. Like, why won't it work?!

Head into your NFC settings and select m-wallet. From there, navigate to the card section and pick the specific card you want to use for contactless payments—just keep in mind this works for your debit Maestro or credit Mastercard, but Visa cards won't cut it here.

Before they actually activate your account, you have to give the app permission to manage your phone calls. In plain English, that means they’re listening to your conversations.

No, no, no... 🤣
What you're actually consenting to here is allowing the app to pull directly from your contact list to dial Zabine numbers—things like their general info line, business services, or the credit department, and so on.

btw merry Christmas

What exactly does it say?

Grant permission for mzaba to handle phone calls.

Is anyone mentioning contact numbers for Chase or anything regarding phone calls in general around here?
It's obvious we're talking about ALL phone calls.

Where exactly does it say it can eavesdrop? There isn't an Android permission that would even allow an app to listen in on you (and there never will be).
Maybe do a little digging before you start spouting nonsense...

@kripto

"to make"

Just tap on "contacts," then select something like "customer service center," hit that red call button, and you'll see a prompt saying "connecting you to your personal banker." The app will then hand the call off to Google, where you'll see the number you're dialing—in this case, 1-800-555-0199—and all you have to do is hit dial right there in the Google app on your phone.

Honestly, what you just said was complete nonsense 🤦👎

Why don't JPMorgan Chase or RF Bank require phone call verification through their apps???

Hello there.
I hope I’ve landed in the right thread here.

I have a protected account debit card—a Maestro from Bernstein Bank—and I'm wondering if it's actually possible to use it for online shopping. When I try to enter my payment details, the site asks for some kind of security code that I simply don't have. Is that something I can pick up at a local branch, or would setting up a mobile banking app solve this problem entirely?
Basically, I want to buy some items from a website using this card, so if anyone knows whether this is even doable—and what the actual process looks like—I’d appreciate the insight.
Thanks in advance.

Look, I already gave you my answer in a different thread. 🤷
Basically, you just head over to Chase, set up a mobile banking account, and then use that to generate a code for paying via Maestro on any site that supports it.

No—you weren't actually sure if I could even have a Chase mobile account if I'm currently blocked.
You were the one who suggested I go ask in the chat—just take a look back at your own post in this thread.
That’s why I’m asking here now; maybe someone else actually knows the answer for certain.

Exactly.
The monthly fee isn't even more than about a dollar or two.
btw, I’m not entirely sure if you'll even be able to access your Chase account if you've been flagged—you might want to just ask someone in the site's live chat.

That’s the exact comment you threw at me in that thread.

Well, if you were so unsure, why didn't you just ask in the chat?

Hey everyone... I noticed they just added a "request a loan through the mobile app" feature to the Chase app... Has anyone actually pulled the trigger on this yet? I'm curious how the whole process plays out. I've been banking with the Federal Reserve since 2019, and before that, I was a client over at Goldman Sachs for more than a decade. If anyone has any insight, please let me know.

It works. I managed to get mine scheduled without any hiccups at all.
It really comes down to whether they roll out an online booking system. If you aren't drawing a paycheck from Goldman Sachs anymore, things might get a bit complicated.
Just give it a shot; you aren't going to break anything by trying.

Thanks for the heads-up. Since I don't have any active income coming from Goldman Sachs anymore, I'm assuming this isn't going to be feasible.
I’m curious about what the next steps look like once all the debt information has been entered into the system.

Sorry, but I have no idea which chat you mean.
The forum chat here—or the Chase Bank chat?
