I’ve got both a Visa and a Mastercard linked to my PayPal. It used to default to my Maui card automatically, but ever since they killed the free tier, I’ve been avoiding those 5 euro fees—so now I just keep my cash sitting in my PayPal balance and pay directly from there. As for refunds, they just go right back to whatever card was originally charged.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question for the group. Since I've recently opened a checking account, I really ought to get the mobile app set up on my phone. I know you typically log in using a PIN, but there is one specific thing weighing on my mind.
Once I'm actually logged into the app, is there an option to hide or perhaps "mask" certain details—like my foreign currency balance or my Mastercard info—so they aren't immediately visible the moment I open the interface? I'm hoping you all can follow what I'm getting at here.

Are you trying to hide your bank balance from yourself?

Haha. Not exactly about me, though. But then again, I don't think your better half needs to be privy to absolutely everything, do they?

No way. I mean, seriously... why on earth would she even need the PIN you use to log into the app in the first place?

Does anyone happen to know if it's actually possible to run two separate Chase mobile apps on two different phones? For instance, if I wanted an authorized user and myself to both have our own access on our respective devices.

You can give it a shot if you've got online banking set up. You’ll have the option to redistribute funds right there through the app, so you don't even have to deal with the hassle of heading down to a Chase branch.

I don't think that's even an option—once you activate the app with a new code, the old one just dies. When I set mine up on my iPhone 7, the one on my iPhone 5 stopped working immediately, even though I used the exact same PIN. Plus, every time you trigger a new code, the token generates a different number, so there’s no way they can run simultaneously. Honestly, your only real shot might be talking to someone at Chase or Wells Fargo to see if they can somehow link two separate tokens to a single account or something like that.

Hey everyone, I’ve been having some trouble with the Chase mobile app lately; every time I try to enter my PIN to log in, I just get this weird "null" error message popping up.
I thought maybe it was just a temporary glitch, so I tried all the usual troubleshooting steps—restarting the app, rebooting my phone, trying a few more times—but nothing seems to work, and honestly, sometimes the app won't even stay open before it just crashes completely.

Has anyone else dealt with this kind of technical headache recently, and if so, did you manage to find a fix?

A factory reset usually does the trick... but what's killing me since the last update is this "Invalid PIN. You have 2 attempts remaining" error whenever I try to make a purchase. It doesn't matter if I use Apple Pay, transfer funds between accounts, or use my credit card...
I have to attempt the same transaction three times before it finally goes through.

Exactly! I got locked out of my account tonight, and I don't even have my physical security key on me right now—so tomorrow, I am going down to the bank and giving them a piece of my mind... those incompetent fools. Who on earth messes with features that were working perfectly fine in the first place? It's pure stupidity.😠

Some guy was already whining about this on the Facebook page. Honestly, they’re acting like they haven't seen this before. This whole mess started right after the last update. And don't even get me started on that "incorrect PIN" nonsense when you know for a fact you typed it in perfectly.

So, I just started using this mobile banking app—it was free for the first six months, but now they're hitting my account with $20 fees. I'm currently on one of those premium checking packages where the fee is $20.
Honestly, if I had the option, I’d just switch back to a standard checking account because these $20 monthly fees are getting ridiculous. If I drop the premium package and go back to basic checking, can I still keep using the mobile app, or am I stuck with just old-school SMS alerts?

Does anyone happen to know what kind of fee they slap on you if I'm just moving money from my own account over to someone else's—assuming we both use Chase Bank—via their mobile app?

Tried using that mobile wallet at Walmart yesterday and it failed me... Now I'm reading it was originally limited to just debit cards. Is that still the case? Doesn't make much sense how anyone is supposed to pay with other cards now that they've scrapped the scanning feature...

I used to be on it all the time—scanning everything, pulling funds from maestro, though I never even bothered with Go. Honestly, I haven’t touched it since they changed things up, and I can't tell if the issue is with my bank account or just Walmart being difficult lately. It seems like every time you go in, someone's card fails or it takes three tries just to get it to register. The contactless feature is acting up, too—I heard people at Applebee's had their transactions not even show up in the system. It feels like there's a line delay at the register every other trip because some random card won't work.

Only for Go! cards.
Here’s the checklist:

• An Android smartphone running version 4.4 or higher, plus an NFC chip so you can actually tap at POS terminals or ATMs

• A fully set up and active mobile banking app along with your activated go!card Mastercard.

We'll be adding support for other Mastercard and Visa cards soon!

(and "soon" still hasn't happened 🙂 )
