The movie is just a cheap scam. This lady's cult is being promoted so sneakily. She talked about it constantly in the film, and now I found out SHE is actually the leader of this whole sect (with a few thousand followers). She channels some warrior from Atlantis or whatever and hawks it all at $1,000 seminars. No wonder the film got trashed at festivals like total garbage. Even the scientist featured in it publicly distanced himself, trashing their "quantum physics interpretations" as nothing more than playground nonsense.

Still, this forum is a great thing. It’s made a few things clearer regarding the movie. I think I'll just copy what Anthony Perez9 wrote and hand it to anyone who asks me about the film—mostly just to save my own gray cells from committing suicide trying to make sense of this nonsense. 👍

A few months back, a good friend "blessed" me by suggesting this movie.
And honestly, I really tried to be polite for the first five or six minutes because she's dear to me and is a spiritual person (spent about 15 years meditating in an ashram in India), but then I slowly but surely started cursing her out for everything under the sun—we actually had to stop the vibe after about 15 or 20 minutes.

A few weeks later, another close friend reached out (another Indian connection, but through Anandamaya)—praise the Lord, guess what? The exact same movie. (Who knows, maybe there's a virus in India that makes people absolutely incapable of being critical about this kind of stupidity?)
Luckily, this time I was informed and prepared. 😈 😬

Nah... but honestly, now that I think about it... I kind of want to watch it even more, just so I can properly tear it apart if it really is that bad.

Right. A joint raises your consciousness—or so people think. It's just cheap weed that has a weak effect. Plus, kids love it because it's illegal, so it feels like rebelling against the law. And honestly, who knows what those kids are actually smoking when they buy "weed." Most likely just dried grass or birdseed.

They had rented out the entire hall across the street. Don't be lazy; they even approached me. I figured, why not take a look...
I went to check it out. It was an exhibition, larger than anything ever held in Washington, D.C., but it didn't particularly interest me. That E-machine, or whatever it's called... I tried it. I won't comment: it's just a device that measures resistance, nothing special.

So, that's it.

Look, it isn't technically impressive or even particularly "artistic." It’s no wonder they turned it down...
It isn't particularly provocative or controversial... I'm not saying the underlying idea couldn't be seen that way by most people, but it just isn't presented like that. It's more about the skill involved... 😬So that it ends up getting rejected again...
Just an average B-movie in terms of performance...

There were plenty of scientists involved behind the scenes... It makes sense to make a movie and try to turn something complex into something the general public can actually wrap their heads around...
It isn't that simple...
That movie wasn't exactly made for scientists...
It’s perfectly valid to try something like that. What matters is the core concept—offering a different way to look at the world. There's nothing wrong with that... quite the opposite...
So, what exactly isn't working for you in a concept like this?...

There were moments that were just really hard to stomach... like that tacky wedding and all the gossip surrounding it... I mean... WTF...🤣 Election season always seems to coincide with these kinds of side stories... A little sweetness here and there, though it's more like salt than sugar, but I'm glad I watched it...
Just about ready to download that other guy's DVD... I've only managed to get half of it so far...😬I guess I'll take a look at that too...

A lot of people watching this for the first time will be introduced to quantum physics and some pretty big ideas. That's the point.
How else would you design that first encounter?
And what's wrong with them being excited?

So, I wonder why nobody thought to title the documentary "Who the hell
actually knows!?" It’s the kind of question—or rather, statement—that people who film things tend to make, implying
they're somehow shielding themselves from criticism regarding any mistakes or vague spots in
the film, because after all, who the hell would they know about quantum physics or other phenomena, right? =)

But setting aside that somewhat cynical observation, the documentary does feature several
intriguing concepts that can spark some thought, whether by expanding
one's horizons based on the direction the work takes, or perhaps by
denying those very same ideas to develop solid counter-arguments,
which might ultimately serve to strengthen whatever opposing viewpoints an
individual happens to hold.

In any case, things turn out fine.

I actually liked the movie.
Maybe it’s just because I’m blissfully ignorant when it comes to quantum physics—no idea what's actually going on there 😁

The breakdown of how emotions work was interesting, as was the concept that our thoughts can actually shape our surroundings. Some parts felt a bit over the top—a little too much for my taste—but overall, I think they made a solid attempt at bridging the gap between science and spirituality.
