Eric Patel21 said:I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up yet—but in the wild, aren't predators actually smarter than herbivores? I mean, how would a lion ever catch a gazelle if the gazelle were actually more intelligent than him?😕

Well, true... if she were smarter, perhaps she'd be better at hiding—or maybe she'd "learn" how to run faster.🙄

I honestly think some people have these silly prejudices about vegetarians and diet, and then they act like jerks—if you're going to ask people WHY they're vegetarian, why do you feel so threatened or attacked when you actually get an answer? People always ask me why I'm not eating meat when they see my plate is empty, or why I pass when offered, and then they start whining that I'm trying to lecture them just because I gave a straight answer! 😕 I mean, what's your deal? That kind of xenophobia isn't healthy. Nobody is stopping you from eating meat, but if you go looking for an explanation, don't get mad if you don't like the response. It's OUR life, OUR choice.

And just to clarify my take on plants vs. animals—I view animals as organisms much closer to me than plants are. Honestly, it almost feels like cannibalism to me. OF COURSE (!!!), that's just MY opinion and I'm not calling anyone else a cannibal; this is EXCLUSIVELY how I see things—just so there isn't a huge uproar.

Even with plants, certain parts are often meant to be eaten, especially fruits and seeds, so animals can spread them over wider areas through their waste. In some cases (only some, mind you), the plant doesn't even die—if I eat an apple, I haven't killed the tree. It would rot and fall off eventually to release the seeds anyway. It's actually better if an animal finds it and eats it, helping spread those indigestible seeds further.

This whole "witch hunt" feels just like the hatred toward gay people to me—it's like those old-fashioned busybodies gossiping and sticking their noses where they don't belong, which in this case is someone else's plate or bedroom. You guys are exhausting. Eat whatever you want, who's stopping you? Seriously, find a hobby that's more productive than obsessing over what other people eat.

Ahem... this thread is supposed to be about "VEGETARIANS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT." A few months ago, an artist had her van torched just because she swore by chicken.🙂

Facts. You ask them to draw a circle and they start spinning around, making a mess of everything.
Flipping through papers🤣 and whatever else...
And honestly, man being intelligent is just how Bog designed things.
It's simple.

Just kidding: Maybe a woman's brain isn't their weakest link... but it's definitely a link!

nothing to do with gender or what you eat. I know plenty of vegetarians, and honestly, none of them seem any sharper—if anything, they seem a bit slower. There are clear reasons why people gravitate toward those diets, yet there's this constant push to act like it somehow represents a higher stage of human evolution through "correct" choices. It’s like they think choosing certain foods makes them more advanced.
I personally know someone who stays quiet about it; they have their own lifestyle, respect what others choose, and don't use dietary habits as the primary way to divide the world into smart and foolish people.
Wouldn't that be a bit too obvious and pretentious?

Exactly, exactly, exactly!

Simple as that.

Just a little joke: Maybe the brain isn't a woman's weakest link... but it's definitely a link!

It's like you guys have those gray tumors, while over here, our heads are just filled with pure consciousness.

Actually, that van didn't even belong to Delmar—it belonged to the theater where she was performing.

The theater director himself mentioned he actually doubts PETA had anything to do with it; he thinks someone just took advantage of all the hype surrounding the situation to pin the blame on them.
You really need to read the articles more closely...

I mean, sure—or maybe if nature had just decided to be a little more "intelligent," it would have given her massive paws and razor-sharp teeth, and she’d probably be weighing an extra hundred pounds or so... Honestly, what a load of nonsense, I'm telling you...

driftingfox33 said:Maybe a gazelle could take down a lion if it actually ate meat, but it doesn't. And lions just pick off the slowest or sickest one in the herd, which is basically just nature doing its job by cleaning things up. Besides, females handle the hunting, which opens up a whole different debate about whether > holds any water here...
If lions are so brilliant, why don't they go after elephants? This is all just nonsense...

It's because lions and elephants don't share the same territory 😉 though tigers will hunt an elephant if they're hungry enough in a group 😉 And you really want to argue that the male lion isn't smarter than the female? He doesn't bother hunting; he just waits for her to do the work and then swoops in to steal the kill, which seems pretty calculated to me...

Maybe a gazelle could take down a lion if it actually ate meat, but it doesn't.

If she were a guy, her name would be Dave😕

I guess there's just no logic to why a lion can't catch me, yet I’m not exactly looking to make a meal out of him either... 😕 I guess it's just one of those things that doesn't quite add up... why a monkey wouldn't be able to catch it... 😕

Honestly—with that much consciousness, we'd probably need a spare head on standby just to handle it all.

Eric Patel21 said:Well, it really just comes down to the fact that a lion isn't exactly going to be hanging out in the same spots an elephant does... they just have totally different lifestyles, you know? 😉 So, you know how tigers work... like, if they’re out in the wild and a whole pride is hungry at once, they might actually go after an elephant... it's pretty wild to think about, really... 😉 So, what are you actually getting at here—that a male lion isn't any smarter than a female? I mean, look at the reality of it... he’s not even out there doing the actual hunting most of the time! He just hangs around waiting for her to do all the hard work, and then, once she finally bags the kill, he swoops in to claim it all for himself. If you ask me, that sounds like a pretty clever way to play the game, doesn't it?...

Lions live in the exact same habitats as elephants—I’ve honestly never even heard of this whole thing with tigers... Sure, elephant calves are definitely at risk, but it's pretty widely known that greedy predators don't really go after elephants. It's written right there in the books... loot....

Quentin:
If that grandma were a guy, he’d probably be going by Duško... 😕
🙄

There’s an old saying that really sticks with me—it’s basically like saying what makes Grandma happy is exactly what makes the little guy feel like royalty... it's all about that special kind of comfort, you know? It’s funny how those little things work... how someone can be perfectly content just because they're being treated with a bit of extra sweetness... turns out, a little bit of indulgence goes a long way for everyone involved...So—is this conversation finally up to your standards now? Is it actually hitting the right note for you...

tough luck, tough luck

you all act just like that cunning Odysseus
throwing Helen... (this whole topic)
yet here you are, puffing out your chests,
total King Kong syndrome,

Who says you couldn't catch a lion or a monkey?
Just head out into their natural habitats—maybe somewhere deep in the Everglades or a jungle in Florida—and try to race them... I'll be praying for your safety! Please, do post your results when you get back... you might actually convince me if you pull it off...

The Executioner said:According to some researchers out of Oxford, smart kids tend to go vegetarian once they hit adulthood. Their data suggests vegetarians boast an average IQ of 106, while non-vegetarians sit at 101—plus, vegetarian women averaged 104 compared to just 99 for those eating meat.

What’s everyone’s take on this?

I’ve always had my suspicions about this kind of thing—but I honestly didn't expect the gap to be this massive or statistically significant.

And when you bundle them all together, they make for one pretty dim-witted crowd.😁

Yeah, exactly—it's that whole thing where you try to tell someone, "Hey, just step into their shoes for a second and see things from their perspective," and then they just stare at you with absolutely nothing behind their eyes... I honestly think if we tried to run a brain scan on some of these folks, the equipment would probably just short-circuit—their internal "processor" is way too weak to handle that kind of complex processing...
