Honestly, I think some of you have these really silly prejudices regarding vegetarians and dietary choices, and then you go and act all aggressive—like, if you ask people WHY they are vegetarian, why do you feel so threatened or attacked when you actually get an answer? People always want to grill me about why I'm not eating meat when they see my plate is empty, or when I turn down a serving, and then they start whining that I'm "forcing my lifestyle" on them just because I gave them a straight answer!! 😕 I mean, what's your deal? That level of xenophobia isn't healthy. No one is stopping you from eating steak, but if you're going to hunt for explanations, don't lose it when the response isn't what you wanted to hear. It's OUR life, and OUR decision.
And just to clarify my take on the whole plant vs. animal thing—I view animals as organisms much more closely related to me than plants are. In fact, it almost feels like cannibalism to me. OF COURSE (!!!), that's just MY opinion and I'm not calling anyone else a cannibal, this is EXCLUSIVELY how I see things—just so we don't start a riot here.
Even with plants, certain parts are basically designed to be eaten, especially fruits and seeds, so that animals can spread them over wider areas through their waste. In some cases (and I emphasize *some*), you aren't even killing the plant—if I eat an apple, I haven't killed the tree. It was going to rot and fall off anyway to release the seeds. It's actually better if an animal comes along and eats it, because they'll spread those seeds further since they won't digest them.
This whole "witch hunt" vibe feels just like the hatred directed at the LGBTQ+ community—it's like those old-fashioned busybodies who spend all day gossiping and sticking their noses where they don't belong—except in this case, it's someone else's plate or bedroom. You guys are exhausting. Eat whatever you want; who's stopping you? Seriously, find a hobby that's more productive than obsessing over what other people put in their mouths.
Maybe insulin is synthetic now, but for decades it was harvested from pigs. Fine, forget insulin, there are still a million medications being tested on animals or derived from them today...
And as for being "annoying," you're definitely the ones being annoying here! As far as I'm concerned, you could be cannibals or omnivores for all I care—I truly don't mind. But you guys are constantly acting up—lecturing people on what they should eat, or acting disgusted by meat, feeling victimized, or organizing protests...
don't mess around
