I actually hosted a wedding party back in Glacier (Stroussmayer) over in Indianapolis. Honestly, the amount they ripped us off was enough to drive anyone insane.
After the reception wrapped up, we were still sitting on a mountain of leftover cake and food. Then, some relatives dropped by for lunch the next day. If even one or two more people had shown up, we would have actually had enough to feed everyone.
They managed to swipe 10 to 15 liters of bourbon—not to mention all the wine... I mean, the whole thing was just an embarrassment for the hostess. To top it off, she didn't even turn on the AC like we specifically agreed upon. It was a complete disaster from start to finish.
Just a word of advice if you're planning a wedding: get everything in writing. Don't just assume things will work out for $167$300
. Make sure every single detail is settled beforehand, otherwise, you're going to end up paying way too much for everything.
