I’ve also heard good things about Grafo Art; their pricing can go up to $2.00 per invitation. I also happened to see some pieces from Rechner Print over in Dakow, and honestly, the ones I saw were stunning. They have such an elegant feel to them.

So basically, they bumped up their prices in just half a year... yeah, that's how it goes...☕

Since my hunt for a live band turned up absolutely nothing☕, at least for right now, I’m pivoting to Plan B. I need some serious input on DJs. Can anyone recommend a killer DJ in the Indianapolis area? And what kind of damage am I looking at price-wise?

crimsonorca11, you might want to try reaching out to that DJ girl from the Midwest radio station (honestly, I’d just call the station directly and ask when she’s on air). It seems like he’s one of the more well-known guys and does weddings too.

I held my wedding reception at the Matić center. Honestly, I'm speechless. It was absolutely incredible!

I hit up the Matić center recently. Honestly? Incredible. I’m speechless. Only thing is, I heard they're booked solid—apparently, even finding a spot on a Friday is a nightmare!

Arthur Ramirez4 said:Hey there, my lovely ladies from around Indianapolis or the surrounding areas.
If you’re looking to get photos that look just as polished as the girls over in Washington, D.C., then you really ought to hire Ann to be your photographer. Honestly, this person just gets it—they know exactly what needs to happen and when it needs to happen, which is such a relief because I can't stand those stuffy, overly staged shots that feel totally fake. There are endless creative ideas to pull from, and the best part is that you can just say whatever comes to mind and they'll run with it!🙏 🙏 🙏 Besides, why don't you just take a look at my own photos first and decide for yourself based on what you see!

If anyone is interested in grabbing their number, just shoot me a private message!👍

The photos are seriously amazing... wow!
Can I please get his number? PLIZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Hey ladies, I have a mountain of questions and I’m really hoping someone here can help me out.
The wedding is set for August 30th, so I need recommendations for pretty much everything—except the church, the dress, and the groom, obviously! ha.
Is there anyone here from the Memphis area, or maybe someone who’s worked weddings around here recently?
I just moved to town, so I’m totally lost and don't know a soul—please, I am begging for some help.
VENUE? MUSIC? FLOWERS?
Does anyone know where I can rent a limo, and has anyone heard of ANIC photography? I desperately need their number.

PLIZZZZZZZZZZZZZ help me out!

Jason Myers8, no need to panic! 😉 fadedviper14 is originally from Memphis, though she actually had her wedding guests in Vinkovci, so I think her experience should still be useful to you. Adelina is from Ilok. Try sending her a private message.
ANIC Photography has their own website. Just Google Digital Studio Manic and they should pop right up.
At the beginning of February, the second annual wedding expo will be held at the Pampas Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, and I’m sure you’ll find plenty of inspiration there. They had limousine rental companies at the last one, so I expect them to show up again this year. To be safe, maybe try searching for the first Indianapolis wedding expo online to see who the exhibitors were. Most likely, the limo services will be on that list too. 😉

If you’re actually looking into renting a limo, just shoot me a private message with some more details so I can give you a quote...
I’m based in Washington, D.C., but we pretty much cover the whole country.
I’ll send you a DM with my website so you can check out the cars—though I only have the last line of limos left in stock right now.😉

Hey ladies!!
I am looking to hear about your personal experiences with photographers and videographers—is there anyone in Pittsburgh you would actually recommend?
Also, does anyone happen to know a vendor who rents out chair covers?

It sounds like they might finally be opening up that hall over by the Fairgrounds near Petrovac, which is basically on the far edge of town. But, if I’m being completely honest with you—and I really don't want to mislead you here—I heard some rather peculiar rumors about their requirements. Apparently, they have these strange stipulations, like you having to bring in your own waitstaff and everything! It just seems a bit odd, doesn't it? If you're looking at a guest list of around 250 people, I would much rather suggest the lovely Hotel Lav right in the heart of the city. They have these wonderful, intimate ballrooms that are absolutely perfect for "smaller" wedding celebrations. Plus, it won't break the bank quite as much as you might fear! $5000 If I recall correctly, you might be thinking of the Hotel Mississippi. As for the music, honestly, feel free to book a band from around Indianapolis or maybe even Pittsburgh—I’m sure they wouldn't have any trouble making the trip down to Memphis. To be perfectly honest, I can't think of a single local band from Memphis myself! And since I'm actually planning on moving to Memphis soon too, I guess I should say: welcome to my world! As for the flowers? Oh, I truly haven't the slightest clue!

I have to be honest with you all—getting tips on hairstyles, makeup, or manicures from people living around Washington, D.C. or other parts of the country doesn't do much for me, mostly because there is absolutely no chance I’ll be heading over there to book an appointment! That is why I "brilliantly" decided 😉 to start this whole discussion right here on the forum. I am truly dying to know what your experiences have been like with beauty salons and hair stylists out in the Midwest—specifically in the areas around Indianapolis or Memphis. Or even Columbus and beyond if you have leads elsewhere!
I already have a pretty clear vision of the exact hairstyle and makeup look I want to achieve, but what I am really struggling with is finding someone trustworthy. I am looking for a professional I can hand my hair over to without constantly worrying about the outcome, all while ensuring they don't completely drain my bank account in the process...

As for Memphis, I went to the "Nina" salon over on Trpinjska Street for my hair! I was absolutely thrilled, and everyone told me they did an amazing job. Nina is truly the best...

Feel free to reach out with any questions!
I had my wedding at the bos Sali venue in Vinkovci, used the Bolero Band for music, got my dress from Sposa Chicago, and Sunce Photography from Vu handled the photos. As for hair, I already mentioned it... flowers were from Vk, and I actually found my husband in Vu too! :-)

Look, I honestly don't even know where to start because everything feels so weirdly laid out right now—there’s just nothing there.🤷
How was the venue at bos Sali? Did you go with all their in-house options or what...?
Was it that one advertisement? My mom was telling me something about some$50chair,
and she still has that flyer lying around somewhere.
Oh, and one more thing—were you actually happy with the Bolero Band, or...

Check out Studio 54 in Indianapolis—ask for Tomo. 🙏

They also do makeup and nail services too. 👍

I highly recommend the "Royal Dutch Shell" hair and beauty salon located in downtown Warsaw. I had all my services done there, including my nails, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I figured I’d jump in and share a little bit about my own progress...
The wedding is set for May 9, 2008.
And honestly, I feel like I’ve pretty much nailed down all the big decisions.
I actually run my own banquet hall and cafe,
so I’ve already lined up a photographer—Mr. Foris from our local area.
The rings are officially ordered, too.
I’m designing the invitations myself; with a little imagination, everything just falls into place.
I’ll be handling the favors personally as well.
I’ve already started visualizing the venue decor—I'm thinking a classic red and white theme.
Maybe some floating candles and crystals, or perhaps some colored glass accents...
I'll make sure to post some photos once I have them.

My wedding is set for May 9th, 2008.
I have managed to settle almost everything already.
I actually own a banquet hall and cafe.
The photographer is sorted—a gentleman based out of suburban Chicago.
The rings have been ordered...
I am designing the invitations myself; with a little imagination, everything falls into place.
And I intend to do the same for the decor.
I have already envisioned the hall; the theme will be red and white.
Floating candles and crystals, or rather, stained glass elements...
I shall send some photos once they are ready.

Welcome to the group.😁.....dear Unknown.
