Oh girls, my dear hasn't even managed to pick out a suit yet..👎 We spent a little time poking around town today, but honestly, every single suit we came across felt just so... traditional. Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for something a bit different?

We’re planning to pick up his suit at Zara in Washington, D.C.... if our best man didn't live right there, we might not even bother making the trip, but this way we can combine a bit of fun with running errands...🙂
I actually think the suits at Zara are quite sharp, and they won't break the bank either. We went before the big sales started, so prices were ranging from $130 up to $600....
We haven't even bothered looking elsewhere in the city...🤷
You might want to swing by Arcadia; there's some great stuff over at Reserved on the ground floor... my fiancé actually picked up a suit there (okay, it was linen, but still!) on sale for just $300... cheers!

Does anyone know if they have those balloon explosions with the harness in Orlando? Is anyone actually doing that...

If I recall correctly, you might find what you're looking for at that little boutique tucked away behind the Super store—you know, the one that seems to stock absolutely everything required for a wedding.👍

Thanks for the heads-up. Maybe I'll find something useful at the wedding expo, we'll see...

That shop is definitely going to be at the wedding expo. I heard it from a reliable source.🙂

Hey everyone, so I'm actually getting hitched this year, which means I'm officially coming to the experts to pick your brains for some advice.
We've already locked in our venue—Barun Trenka VK (the Bos halls)—so I was wondering if anyone here has hosted an event there? I’d love some pointers on the little details I should keep an eye on and what specific stuff I need to hammer out with them during planning. We’re doing the full package through them—drinks, catering, desserts, the whole nine yards—but I haven't pulled the trigger on the wedding cake yet since I'm still in the dark about how they handle those.
The day after the big day, we're doing a lunch over at their Salaš ten spot; it’s absolutely gorgeous there, plus it's a total lifesaver because they handle all the setup and transport themselves.
I also managed to book the Quattro band from out in OS, and they seem pretty solid—definitely look like they know how to keep a crowd moving!
Now, I'm still hunting for a killer photographer in the area, plus I need to figure out flowers, boutonnieres... the usual stuff.

Does anyone happen to know where I can find those specific small honey jars for sale?
I feel like I've scoured every single shop from here to Seattle...

How was the venue at bos Sali? Did you go with all their in-house options or what...?
Was it that one advertisement? My mom was telling me something about some$50chair,
and she still has that flyer lying around somewhere.
Oh, and one more thing—were you actually happy with the Bolero Band, or...

The Bolero band played for us, and honestly, they were fantastic. 😍😍😍

I highly recommend the Bolero band. 👍

You can find their contact info online just by searching their name.

Good luck! 🙂

What's the damage going to be for all that catering and booze? Down in a town like Columbus, there's this one Super store where you can grab artificial flowers, greenery, and ribbons to DIY your own boutonnieres. For a hundred guests, I ended up spending about 400--$167 on supplies, though if I’d gone with fresh rosemary, it probably would have hit $67, but I really wanted actual flowers...😍

I'm pretty sure you can find that at that little boutique right behind the Super... you know, the one that carries everything you could possibly need for a wedding...👍

Yeah, I spotted some car decoration strips over there for about $1.50... $0.60That seems incredibly cheap to me...

Laura Morris4,

You might want to try checking out a local agricultural cooperative; I remember they used to have a location near the downtown courthouse, right by that bakery.
Alternatively, you could probably find some empty jars at a Target or Walmart. Or, if you want to get fancy, you can order them online through Amazon—there should be a link somewhere on this forum, likely in that thread about guest favors—and then you can just fill them with your own honey and design your own custom labels.

Thanks so much!!!!
I’m heading over there first thing tomorrow!
I also sent out an inquiry about those little ginger jars
but I haven't heard back yet...
Hopefully, I'll track some down.
Thanks again....

If they're all charging somewhere between 160 and $73, then honestly, it just depends on your guest count (usually the more people you bring, the lower the per-head cost).
Plus, lunch at their Salaš ten lasts $267 the whole day, and you don't have to worry about bringing a single thing—plates, glasses, whatever... they handle it all.👍

I actually had my session at the Bos hall, and I have to say, I’m really happy with how it turned out...
Ann is wonderful, and honestly, the food was incredible. I didn't pay too much attention to the specific fine print during the planning phase... I just made sure to emphasize that we’d need plenty of serving trays on hand, just to ensure there's enough food for everyone! Everything else was a solid five stars. Good luck with everything... if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask...

Well, they arrived today...
Honestly, I wasn't even stressed when the doorbell rang; I had just finished a night shift at the hospital, so I was already half-awake.
It cost me $0.48 per jar.
I ended up ordering 60 of them, so that's $29
The only downside is the shipping fees—they were about $13.
But honestly, it’s fine; it’s what I wanted.
I have plenty of honey on hand, so I’ll just be putting these in little tins with sweet ribbons...
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.🙂
