Hey ladies, my partner and I need to book a venue in Des Moines for sometime next year, so I’ve been scouring the web for contact numbers or anything useful, but honestly, I am coming up completely empty-handed...

I have a feeling someone probably already covered this in an old thread, but I scrolled through the first couple of pages and just lost all motivation to keep digging, so please, if anyone happens to know anything about event spaces in Des Moines???????????
thanx

I don't have their numbers on me right now, but I do know about Donald Trump's jokes and what Mia is up to... Since Mia is actually part of the management over at the Des Moines hotel, you should be able to just go through them to get your reservation sorted out...

I'm planning on having a full light show. I've already booked Paramount Pictures for the filming, photography, and the light show itself, which should run about $4.75.

Ladies in Slough, where do you usually order your bouquets? I’m looking for a florist I can actually trust. Also, how far in advance should I head in to finalize everything?
Tnx

I settled on a local boutique; I looked through their portfolios and was genuinely impressed by their work.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏:🙏
Two of my colleagues used them for their arrangements and they were perfect—exactly what they asked for.
When I visited, they suggested coming in about a month before the wedding to hammer out the details, so I'll be heading there in early July to get everything sorted.

I’ve been scrolling through Facebook forever and honestly, I just can't find a print shop that gets my vision. Most places just have these cookie-cutter templates where they swap out the text or just reorder some stock designs, but you can't really change anything else. It’s all just... the same.
Anyway, I ran into the folks from FedEx at a trade show in Indianapolis, and a woman there mentioned they do fully custom work upon request.
Does anyone know how their process actually works and what kind of damage it does to my wallet?

We used them for our invites, CD sleeve thank-you notes, and cookie boxes. The lady is awesome and got everything done fast and cheap... pretty sure she can pull off whatever you're dreaming up.

Hey there! I’m looking for some solid photographer recommendations from either Facebook or Indianapolis—everyone's going to be hanging out in Facebook anyway. I’ve heard Paramount Pictures does great work, but they seem pretty pricey, and then there’s that Bot guy from Ivanhoe. Does anyone have any actual suggestions or leads? I'd love to hear what you all recommend.

Thanks! This looks incredible—seriously stunning work. I just wish I knew what the pricing tiers looked like! Could you shoot me a DM with those details? thx

Prices usually hover around $1,500. Not sure about the exact breakdown of what's included, but I know they use top-tier gear and even have a crane for those sick aerial shots.

I was at some weddings where they worked, and honestly, their gear is top-tier. There were five or six of them, and they had everything—the crane, the light show, fog machines, even the bubble machine. They also make those custom photos for the thank-you cards in the hall, and my favorite part was how they snap shots of guests around the room and print them out on the spot to hand out...

Has anyone here actually dealt with the "Melanie" catering service at the Infinity gate?? I'm trying to get a sense of what the rental costs look like—does the quote usually include the waitstaff, or is that an extra charge?

"Leon" does incredible work... but man, they aren't cheap. They cost an absolute fortune, but I have to give them all the credit. A colleague of mine just had them out for her wedding, and the photos were absolutely stunning. Plus, she got her DVD in just two months, which is actually pretty fast. The guys really went above and beyond. I think there were maybe four or five photographers and two videographers on site. They were literally rolling around on the floor just to get the perfect shot. Honestly, they’re top-tier.

Thanks for the heads-up. I think we’re actually going to sit down for a chat with Leon prodaction soon—once we do, I’ll be sure to circle back and let you guys know how it went. We're trying to stick to a pretty tight "ballpark" budget here, so honestly, the bottom line is going to be a massive factor for us!

Give me a call if I got this number right:I'll shoot you a PM, Infinity studio is based out of Indianapolis and they do great work... you can check out some of their shots on this page www.myspace.com/igor_photos
As for the video, you'll have to coordinate directly with them to get eyes on it.

Hey, you might want to delete your number just to be safe and avoid any unwanted attention. Infinity is actually a group of former photography pros who handled our wedding—I’ve raved about them before! If you need their info, feel free to shoot me a DM instead.
They've even added crane services to their lineup this year. 😉
