Hey everyone, I am reaching out because I’m in desperate need of some guidance! Could someone please recommend a reliable photographer located in the Midwest? I have spent quite a bit of time scrolling through all the previous posts here, and I realized there isn't much discussion on this specific topic... which is a bit of a dilemma for me. So, to all my fellow married women out there—please, I am begging for your expertise! Help a girl out! You can also send me a private message if that's easier. Thank you all so very much in advance! 👋

Sure thing, I just need to check with my mom first to get the info since she handled all of that for me🙂, then I'll shoot you a DM tomorrow.

Hey ladies living around the Midwest, I could really use some advice... does anyone know where I can find some really pretty, high-quality lingerie to wear under a wedding dress?

We finally tracked down a photographer and a videographer... 😁 I am seriously over the moon!!!! This was my absolute worst nightmare. The guy is young and actually loves all my crazy ideas—thank God, because I honestly don't know who else would have put up with me—like wanting shots with our dogs (all three of them!), posing with horses, jumping from one spot to another... you name it. Anyway, I’m thrilled with him, and most importantly, he didn't break the bank! You have to hand it to big cities like Chicago or NYC; they have these incredible photographers, but man, sometimes the prices out there are just absolutely insane.
As for the cake, a woman gave me her number, and I'm meeting her this week to finalize things. Everyone says she's wonderful—that her cakes are stunning and taste even better.
The fiancé and I are working on the invitations right now, and I think they are just precious. We’re doing the thank-you notes the same way. My sweet 😍 Tomorrow I'm heading out to put a deposit down on the dress (fingers crossed I can actually make a decision). Basically, all that's left is the flowers, and then we are pretty much set!!!! Hallelujah

I really need a hand here, and I need it fast! Does anyone know where I can buy some traditional woven Midwest towels? If nobody has any to sell, would anyone be willing to rent mine out or let me borrow some? Thanks so much in advance!

Does anyone have any actual experience working with Grafoart for invitations and thank-you cards? Please help me out, I'm in a serious rush...

I used Grafoart for all our wedding stationery—invitations, thank-you notes, table numbers, and menus. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Susan was absolutely wonderful to work with. Huge thumbs up and a massive recommendation for Grafoart

The hotel hosting my wedding (Admiral, VK) actually recommended I reach out to Jack from Cherokee. She handles all their wedding decor work, so they say she knows the venue inside and out—exactly how much floral arrangements we'll need and all those little details. I gave her a call, and she mentioned it would be fine if I just dropped by about a month before the big day. Has anyone here worked with her? I'd love to see some photos of her work. She seemed incredibly sweet and helpful over the phone...
I had a wedding at Admiral just two months ago. Jack did all the flowers, and honestly, I couldn't have been happier. Shoot me a private message and I'll send over some pictures. If you have any other questions, just ask.

I think you might find some over in the county, specifically in Indianapolis at that local handmade goods shop.

Can't you just find those at any old farmers market near your grandma's place?🤷

I’m actually having mine done by them right now and honestly, I’m loving it.
The lady there really knows her stuff—I basically just showed up with a vague vision in my head, and she actually helped me bring it to life. It’s not like those other places where they just give you a handful of cookie-cutter templates where all you can do is swap out the text.
She told me once I make my final call, she can have everything printed in like 2 or 3 days, which is insanely fast if you ask me!
Now I just need to scramble, figure out the wording, and get the order in before she heads out on vacation!
Good luck with the invites—if you end up going with them, I really don't think you'll regret it.

Anyone ever heard of The Beach Boys from out by the Mississippi River? Wondering how they actually sound live.

They’re great for country music, but personally, they aren't really my thing. Just too many keyboards and the same repetitive rhythm...

Hey my Midwest girls, my maid of honor suggested we head to VFX Studio 54 for hair and makeup. Has anyone actually used them before? I’m looking for someone with professional kits, high-end gear, and real experience..
The main thing is that I don't want some basic daily look that won't hold up against 😁 whatever weather we deal with during an outdoor wedding..
So now I'm diving into research, hunting for the right makeup artists and stylists..
My friends went to Blaž's salon in Memphis for their looks and they were happy, but I haven't personally tried them out yet.. 🤷

Ladies from Cleveland, where have you been ordering your boutonnieres? What’s the going rate per piece, and could someone DM me a few photos?
Thanks
Thanks

So which ones did you end up picking, and are they gonna bleed you dry?
