How much does a cookie from babin greda cost? And do they ever do any kind of discount at the trade show?

Honestly, they didn't do anything for me at the fair—even though they promised a discount. For our crowd of 400, between the cookies and the wedding cake, we ended up paying about $1167

The fair is looking pretty mediocre this year...

Unfortunately, I have to side with you on that one... 😢
As for my plans, we already put down the deposits for what we intended to secure. Regarding the desserts, you get a 10% discount if you register at the expo. For us, the cake and pastries for 300 guests will end up costing roughly $967.

It’s honestly pretty depressing. I find it hard to believe anyone could actually call this thing a trade show.
The whole experience was so draining that I couldn't even bring myself to sit through the fashion show 🙂

Maybe it's just because I'm used to the scale of things back in New York, but this was a massive letdown. I didn't find a single thing I was actually looking for 😲

The fair was a total letdown. There were hardly any exhibitors or anything to look at, and the discounts? Almost non-existent unless you dropped a huge deposit upfront. 😢

Luckily, we had already sorted out the big stuff before the show even started—the venue, the band, the photographer. We specifically went there looking for flowers from Mosaic. Honestly, the ladies there were amazing; they were so warm and had such great ideas.

Was the dessert selection really just three booths, or did I somehow miss something??

Not that I recall, but if my memory serves, they were from the babin greda area and Kolačić was based out of Indianapolis.
Ladies, I have a quick question regarding body care services in Indianapolis or the surrounding areas. Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a cosmetologist who specializes in treatments for the décolletage and back?

Either one works!:-)
Which one offers better quality, and which is cheaper? 😁
Thanks for the help!🙂

There was also the Slastine makaron crowd. Honestly, they’re the only ones who actually made an impression on me at the expo. I sampled some of their more delicate cookies—and while I really shouldn't be snacking on sweets during a lecture, I am seriously considering picking some up as a little side treat.
The rest? Pretty pathetic.

I gave the Slastine makaron (macarons) a shot, thinking I might put together a little dessert table. I picked up four of them—yellow, white, green, and red—for $8.25 each, and I have to admit, I wasn't exactly blown away. Since I haven't really had macarons before, I can't say for sure if the issue lies with the bakery itself, but in all four flavors, the taste of the actual "dough" kind of overpowered the cream that was supposed to give them character.
At first glance, they look different, but once you take a bite, you're just left with this singular flavor... just the taste of the cookie base.
I suppose I'll have to find some decent macarons somewhere else. Maybe that's just how they're supposed to be? I don't know, since I haven't tried others. But if that's truly the standard, then I'm pretty disappointed 😢 🙂 😁

Does anyone have any experience with mosaic and Dundo sweets? Looking for some feedback on their flower shop.

Hey there, where do you usually pick up your rosemary, and what kind of price range are we looking at these days?

I don't have any direct contact with Jack, but from what I've heard, she might be a bit overwhelmed. There was some talk about how if you take on too many weddings at once, things get rushed—like neighbors stepping in to help finish up. I've also heard rumors that sometimes the venue setup doesn't quite match what was originally agreed upon, but honestly, I can't say for sure if those stories are actually about her!

As for Iris, she’s wonderful... check out her Facebook profile, there are tons of photos there. 🙂

To be clear, I didn't try the fancy ones—just those tiny little bites sitting out on a platter near their service counter. 😁

Apple studio is definitely better for both hair and makeup services. However, you need to book immediately. I placed my order two weeks ago, and even though my wedding is on June 13th, there are only two spots left! (Note that you can reserve up to 5 spots).🙂

I hired General Mills for my big day, and honestly, I can't even begin to tell you how much we loved them. These guys are incredible. Go listen to them on YouTube; the lead singer has an amazing voice, they play absolutely everything, and they’ve actually won several major competitions. As for the price $600, it's worth noting that there is usually room to 🙂 negotiate
. They played at my place for three or four hours before the ceremony, greeted everyone afterward, and kept the party going while we were busy taking photos... It was worth every 😍 penny
.

Oh, absolutely. A close acquaintance of mine plays in Tiffany & Co., and I can tell you firsthand that I am beyond impressed. My husband? He’s just "meh" about them—he thinks everyone is just "okay," haha! But don't worry, I will make sure I book them myself. 😁 The price remains the same $600 🙂 though.

We’re heading over to Zlatar Bauman Emmeza to get our rings done. They’ll do whatever custom work you want at a fair price. Period. 🙂

I have no idea if you found what you were looking for or if you've already tied the knot, but if you haven't, I have tents available. Lately, they've even been stocking smaller base tents because the large ones are constantly sold out everywhere. You get a cooler and all the necessary containers included as well (but definitely ask to confirm). Here is the contact number: 0998 918 22 69 - Goran Kokić

Hey ladies... We’re all officially in that frantic pre-wedding warm-up phase, aren't we? Honestly, the bridal expo in Indianapolis this year was a total letdown. I mean, don't get me wrong, we actually managed to score our rings at a great price over at Sardoniks Jewelry—seriously, major props to them for the service and the deals! But everything else? Just depressing and underwhelming. We mostly showed up hoping to find some decent cakes and pastries since we've already checked most of the big stuff off our list, but man, it was a bust. The treats from Grandma's Ridge looked decent enough, but now I'm wondering—has anyone here actually ordered a wedding cake or dessert spread from them?
Oh, and while I have you, does anyone know anything about hall decor? I'm looking at hiring Iris from Ivankov for the floral arrangements, but I was wondering if any of you girls who used her recently—or maybe even before the rush started—know what she charges for candle rentals?
