There was some talk about how if you take on too many weddings at once, things get rushed—like neighbors stepping in to help finish up. I've also heard rumors that sometimes the venue setup doesn't quite match what was originally agreed upon, but honestly, I can't say for sure if those stories are actually about her!

As for Iris, she’s wonderful... check out her Facebook profile, there are tons of photos there. 🙂

Oof, okay... you definitely helped me make my decision. Thanks so much for the heads-up!😍

I used Mozaik once... I was super happy! Everything turned out absolutely perfect, exactly how I pictured it...

Does anyone have a ballpark idea of what the pricing looks like at Mozaik (I realize it’s highly subjective and depends on what you're after)? Also, how far in advance should one ideally book an appointment?

graniteridge6, my wedding is on September 20th, and I'm actually heading in to meet them next week. The lady told me to come in early—not just for the flowers, but because of the decor, the vases, and the candle holders I want. She wants to make sure they're reserved for our date.

I’m also wondering about the general price range.

Thanks for the heads-up. My timeline is slightly ahead of yours, though I don't plan on diving into the deep end of this planning process for another ten days or so—once I get through a few busy stretches at work. 😁

Hey, does anyone have any decent recommendations for local florists? I need some solid suggestions. 😁

Hey everyone, does anyone have any info on renting a wedding dress from Nikolin in Đakov? I heard rumors they’re filing for bankruptcy and clearing out their inventory. It really has me worried about those of us who already rented dresses and paid our deposits. What happens to us now?

I find it hard to believe they’re actually filing for bankruptcy... It just doesn't pass the smell test to me that Nikolin would be going under while others stay afloat. I was actually there just the other day for a fitting, and the woman I spoke with mentioned how they're constantly running these sales because the competition has become so fierce now that brides are doing all their searching online instead of walking into shops. Back in October, they held this big clearance on wedding gowns, though most of them were just outdated styles that weren't particularly impressive to begin with. They have another decent discount running right now, but it’s always tied to a specific deadline—once that window closes, they just pivot and launch another "big sale" to keep people coming in. On top of those seasonal clearances, they also have a selection of dresses in the showroom that they charge quite a hefty rental fee for.

Where on earth did you hear that they were heading toward bankruptcy?

I think I heard something about it on the radio... anyway, I'm heading over there tomorrow so I'll find out exactly what's going on.🙂

Wait, aren't all of Nicole's companies owned by the same person? I was just scrolling through some news on a site earlier, and while they didn't explicitly mention bankruptcy, it definitely sounds like they're liquidating those apartment complexes "to cover debts."

I honestly think if they file for bankruptcy, it’s going to be a domino effect for all the dealerships, not just this one shop... I mean, surely the guys at the dealership would give me a heads-up if things were actually going south. But hey, we'll see what happens tomorrow... who knows, maybe I'll score a killer deal on a wedding venue while I'm at it... haha

That sale isn't happening at all the Nicole dealerships—it's strictly limited to the single retail location in Vinkovci at the Midwest Orlando Magic store.

Hi everyone—does anyone have any experience or recommendations for a civil wedding venue in Indianapolis or the surrounding areas? Right now, we’re considering the courtyard at the Archaeological Museum in Indy, but since they haven't finalized their exhibition schedule yet, we really need a solid Plan B just in case. Honestly, the local Clerk's Office in Indy is a complete nightmare to deal with, so I'd truly appreciate any creative ideas you might have. Thanks!

Just some info regarding the bridal shop in Đakovo if anyone’s actually looking for stuff... The lady at the shop told me their business isn't connected to that one in Indianapolis that's liquidating wedding dresses because of all their debts. So, no need to worry about this one.😁

It feels like it's been forever since we heard anything about the photo Zoom from Savannah, or the Focus from Little Rock... anyone have any updates?
What about Smith from Indianapolis?

So, I ended up booking Zoom... and honestly, the people they photographed are saying they’re great. They get the job done professionally and the shots aren't bad at all. Though, if I'm being real, Andrej Car is way better for photos. He works with them sometimes, but unfortunately, he was already booked for my date, so I just went with Zoom without him... I'll know more after May 24th...🙂

In my opinion, Focus is easily the most reliable option in our area, especially since they don't go hiking with their prices every other week. Though, I can't say for certain if they've started acting a bit more high-maintenance over the last few months... 😁 I honestly feel terrible that I wasn't able to book them; I would have been more than happy to cover their travel expenses, but I suppose they just weren't looking for more work at the time. 🙄 These shots are absolutely stunning—truly top-tier concepts! 😍

Krizmanić is quite professional! I attended a wedding back in October where they were the photographers, and they were so discreet throughout the whole event; they followed every single instruction perfectly, and the final gallery was simply excellent.

That was fast! 🙂
So, here's the deal: Krizmanić's $5,500 package includes 3 DVDs, about 300 to 400 photos, an intro slideshow featuring childhood shots, a few larger prints, one extra-large print, and thank-you cards at $2.25 each (which feels like a bit much). I think the wedding book would be an additional $667. Meanwhile, the basic Focus package is also $5,500 and includes the thank-you cards (I sent them a message to confirm the exact details).
I reached out to Zoom as well, so once they get back to me, I'll post their info here. That way, anyone else looking for video options will know who offers what!

The Zoom fee is $4,000. That covers about 400 4x6 prints, 15 large 8x12 prints, a photo album, and three DVD sets... plus travel expenses at $0.67 per mile... that's what's laid out in my contract...🙂...I just have no clue what the thank-you gifts should cost...

I finally heard back from Zoom... they're offering 3 video highlights, a leather photo album, 400 prints (4x6), 15 large prints (8x12), 10 square prints (6x6), 10 small prints (5x7), 5 DVD sets (running about 4 hours), plus a DVD containing all 1,500 photos for $4,000 + thank-you cards ranging from $3 to $2.00!

Medo Photography got back to me too—their packages range from $167 to 15 $0.00... For the mid-range option, the standard package includes roughly 500 photos in an exclusive leather album (which Medo Photography throws in as a gift), a DVD with absolutely every single shot including the pre- or post-wedding shoot (around 2,000 fully edited photos total). It also covers Full HD video with 3 highlight clips and a standard edit of the ceremony lasting 3 to 4 hours max, 5 DVD sets, and a USB drive with everything. If you want all the raw footage transferred to a disc, that's an option too. Prices run from $6,000 up to maybe $7 $0.00 (depending on extra perks, which I can clarify if anyone's interested). They aren't asking for deposits yet, but you have to meet in person to lock in the date and hammer out the specific details and wishes to create a custom package just for you...
Thank-you cards go from $4 to $4.00, depending on the size and whether you just want the photo or the actual mount. They also have a really great selection of invitations starting from $1.25 that are definitely worth checking out... Once I have more specifics, I could probably give a better estimate (maybe $7,500 for the whole thing, or less), but I really need more info on the wedding vibe and what we're looking for regarding photo and video..

Waiting to hear from Focus 😁
