I'm pretty new here, so I'm not sure if this has been asked before...
hm...

Is it actually possible for a pregnancy test to give a false negative when someone is already four months along? A friend of mine is definitely not pregnant—she just has light periods and they’ve always been irregular. But she's taken three different tests over the last two weeks and all were negative... We've heard that you can have lighter bleeding during pregnancy, but for it to happen four separate times like this? It seems wild.

What are the odds she's actually... pregnant? Come on, math geeks, help me out!

Four months pregnant and somehow three different tests are all giving me the wrong results 😂
No, this definitely wasn't the question I was asking 🤣

There is absolutely no way she's pregnant. Just tell her straight up. If she actually was, she'd have pregnancy hormones showing up in a urine test—and we all know how that works.

No. Home tests pick up about 25 units of hCG in a certain amount of urine, and those levels skyrocket so fast that by the fourth month, you're talking thousands of units. There isn't a single test on the market that won't catch that. Your friend should just call her OB-GYN and schedule an appointment if she's worried. Since our servers are down, we can't exactly perform a pelvic exam here...

So, I went ahead and ran the test... and well—it’s looking like absolutely nothing is surfacing this time around. Not even a hint of a pattern—I guess you could say there isn't even a shadow of an outline appearing yet. Maybe that's just how it goes sometimes? It’s hard to tell.👎 Zero points... absolutely nothing from those little brats.😢 Sigh... my dear is currently in the hospital—it’s been quite a struggle—and he told me that when he gets discharged in a few couple of days, I should be ready to welcome him back with some good news. Honestly? I just don't have the heart to tell him that there isn't any good news coming... nothing at all. I feel just terribly sad about it.😢

I’m really sorry, Jeremy Nelson3! Honestly, time didn't just stop—it’s more likely your body just decided, for reasons known only to itself, that it wasn't quite ready to go yet.
I’m hoping your guy is on the mend and recovering well 😘

I feel for you, Jeremy Nelson3, but please don't lose hope. This baby will make their appearance whenever they’re ready. Just try to relax and focus on enjoying each other's company—you might just find yourselves pleasantly surprised by when it all happens.

I truly hope your husband is doing alright.

I'm hoping the little guy makes a smooth recovery 😘

Thanks, magic😘 he'll be fine—he's being a bit dramatic (well, he is a man, so drama is expected)—but once he's back on his feet, we'll get right back to work.🙂
I know the baby will arrive whenever she decides she's ready.🙏
Anyway, I'll stick around here for a little longer, and maybe I'll join you all properly soon. Take care of those little ones—give them plenty of attention, stay safe, and look after yourselves too, of course.😘

Sending a huge hug your way,😘 everything is going to work out👍 dear—we’ll have our little guy ready for his wedding duties before we know it.🤣

He told me he hopes I'll have some good news waiting for him when he gets home, but man, I don't have the heart to tell him it's not happening. I'm just so heartbroken😢

I am so sorry. But honestly, everything the girls say is true—it usually happens right when you stop expecting it🙂 (I'm living proof of that😬).

Sending you all the good vibes! It really hurts my heart to hear this because I can see how much you want this baby and how hard you're working to make it happen🙂

Hang in there! Honestly, it's really touching to see someone trying so hard and wanting a baby this much 🙂

Thanks!!😍 It always seems to work out that way—the baby shows up right when you stop obsessing over it, rather than when you're working yourself into a frenzy. I guess we'll just take things easy from here on out and see what happens.🙂

Jeremy Nelson3, you totally misread the room—he’s coming at you, you start getting all worked up, and then he just douses you in sarcasm to shut it down. That’s pretty much how this goes. 😬

Linda Hernandez15 said:Jeremy Nelson3, I think you've got the dynamic all wrong—it's more like he strikes first, you get fired up, and then he just douses you with sarcasm, and that's how the whole thing plays out. 😬

😂 If only... in my experience, it usually goes like this: I take the initiative, he gets worked up, I try to cool things down a bit—just enough to de-escalate—and then he lunges back at me, and well, the chaos just keeps spraying everywhere. 🤣

Fine, we can go in that order if you want—as long as we end by dousing all that enthusiasm with a little bit of cold water. 👍
