I honestly thought that after having that talk with my husband last night and settling things internallyβ€”my period would just show up.
We’ve been so stressed about this instead of just enjoying life... we're acting like total hens.😬
Dana Cooper6 β€” wishing us both luck with our future attempts.😘

And it really should work out that way.πŸ™

I was actually telling you that...πŸ‘Ž πŸ‘Ž Well, I'm sorry, but maybe this is just a lesson for us moving forward. I hope everything turns out fine and that we'll be celebrating something similar soon. I even found myself spiraling a bit at the mall earlier when I walked past a baby boutique seeing all the strollers and stuff. But, hey, no more tears.
My husband confirmed he'll be back on the 20th. 😍 😍 😍
Emic, vElikjaaaaa Cmokaaaaaaaa, and me too, sending love.😘
Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Just stay relaxed.

Everything happens for a reason, and things will work out just as they should. Instead of crying, just relax, stay positive, and keep things πŸ™‚
gentle and passionate.

"Gentle and passionate," right... lol. Honestly, πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
I'm done crying about it. Seriously, I won't. 😬 I'm still young and have plenty of time. Besides, once I finally wrap up my degree, the baby will show up. Unknown.

Big 😘 thanks for the support...😁

As for me, I’m still totally in the dark. I’m taking a test tomorrow and have a checkup on Monday, so we’ll see. I really hope this is itβ€”I already paid for my ski tripβ€”but even if not, at least I’ll get to walk through the snow in the fresh mountain air. Honestly, this uncertainty is brutal. Just waiting!!!!!πŸ™‚ If not, then we start all over again πŸ™‚

Sending you all the good vibes I can muster 😁 😁 πŸ‘ , but if it’s a no, don't sweat it... You, ema1, and I will keep pushing forward...
Just take it easy πŸ™ex: and then once more πŸ™ex: , just stay relaxed and try not to pressure yourself too much 😍

😘 GOOD LUCK!!!

To be clear, this post was actually meant for Anna Oxu... My bad, haha

evangelinlilly said:hey Dana Cooper6.... I know exactly how you feel, so let me try to comfort you if I can. My period was about 10 days late for the first time, and when I took a test, it was positive. To be honest, I wasn't really planning a pregnancy any more than you were, so it caught me off guard, but we realized we wanted it and were so happy... unfortunately, about 12-13 days after my period was due, I started spotting. I panicked and rushed straight to my doctor. He did an ultrasound and told me there was no pregnancy, saying today's tests are just super sensitive and detect early pregnancies too easily... he also mentioned that those delays of 10 days or more are exactly thatβ€”the start of a pregnancy, but the body somehow realizes something isn't right and rejects it... I was a mess, honestly, and I felt so bad that we decided to just keep trying... what can I say, the next month we succeeded and here I am at 20 weeks... so don't get discouraged...

Well, thank god I have you girls to talk to. You're such a sweetheart, 😘 😁, and thank you for the kind words. I really needed to hear that. 😁
I'm genuinely so happy for you that you're already this far along... Wishing you the easiest pregnancy and an even easier delivery! 😘 😍

BTW, my hormones are still absolutely wild. The headaches, the morning sickness... for the first time ever, even the smell of grapes made me nauseous enough to almost gag, ugh. I'm still eating like a pig, still incredibly moody, sweating all the time, the whole thing. I was feeling so small and angry and sad (for no real reason) that I actually bought three >> snacks, hahaha, just to comfort myself...
Honestly, none of this makes sense. I'm acting like I'm pregnantβ€”well, my body certainly isβ€”but there's no baby, hahahahahahahahahahahahaa...

pocahontas said:Hi....

I’ve been stressing out for days and I still can't settle my nerves... I would really appreciate some help here....
I am terrified of getting pregnant... especially an unplanned one....

About two months ago, I hooked up with this guy... without protection... he didn't finish inside, but we all know that isn't exactly reliable.... That was September 1st, then on September 25th, I had my period normally.... but I haven't had the next one since. In other words, I'm about 10 days late now....
I feel bloated... my stomach feels hard... and I'm running to the bathroom constantly....
And I read that these could be early pregnancy symptoms... and that having a normal period last month doesn't necessarily mean anything....
I was on birth control until six months ago... ever since then my cycles have been a mess, but this feels like too much even for me....
I took a test this morning and it was negative.....
But I am freaking out.....
Is it possible to be pregnant despite having my period last month?

If that were the case, I'd be two months along by now..... is it possible for a test to be negative if I'm actually pregnant????

Please... help..................
Is it just stress?!?!?

There isn't a single test that wouldn't pick up a pregnancy if you've truly been pregnant for that long. Plus, you'd definitely be feeling more symptoms by now. Besides, if I recall correctly 😍 😍 , you should be well past two months along by now, making it impossible for nothing to be happening with your body. You admitted your cycles are irregular, and being 10 days late isn't a huge deal. Sure, bleeding can happen during pregnancy, but it's rare, and usually only happens right around the time of intercourse near your periodβ€”but from what I gather, yours happened way before that.
Still, it might be best to see your OB-GYN. You really should, and you should probably talk to them about the pill. You can't just take it for five months and then stop for another five. Maybe they just aren't the right fit for you.

Second, birth control is only effective if you're certain your partner isn't cheating and you're in a committed relationship. I don't want to lecture you on fidelity, but if you aren't in a serious relationship, you should probably start using condomsβ€”not just for pregnancy prevention, but for STIs. A baby is the least of your worries then. (To me, a baby is always a blessing, never a problem 😍)!
No matter how hard you try, I just can't wrap my head around being so irresponsible with your own body. Once it happens, it's done.
Sorry if I'm being blunt, I don't mean to be, but...
Go see your doctor regardless; you can't go wrong there. Honestly, I think every woman should go regularlyβ€”even before seeing a dentistβ€”if she plans on having kids and being happy down the road...
Unknown!πŸ™‚ And let this be a lesson learned.
Keep us posted!πŸ™‚

P.S.: Honestly, I don't think you're pregnant. A test would have caught it by now...

Apparently, those can be early signs of pregnancy..

Could also just be PMS (or even more likely, pregnancy)
As for the bathroom situation, what do you mean by "frequent": is it intense or just more often than usual?πŸ˜• 😲

Nope! You're pregnant, silly.
The fact that you only had one period is a dead giveaway that you're carrying twins.
One's gonna be a boy with red hair, and the other's a little girl who’ll probably marry young and live her absolute best life.
Warmly yours,
Mara Vracara

Dana Cooper6 said:I suppose there isn't a single pregnancy test out there that wouldn't have detected a pregnancy if you had truly been pregnant for this long. Beyond that, I imagine you would have noticed some physical symptoms by now. Furthermore, if I have researched this sufficiently 😍 😍, you should be well past the two-month mark by now, and it seems quite unlikely that nothing at all would be happening within your body. You mentioned your cycles have been irregular, and a ten-day delay doesn't necessarily mean anything specific. While I understand that spotting can occur during pregnancy, it is exceedingly rare, and usually only happens if intercourse occurred immediately before a period, though from what I gather, that was much earlier in your case.
Perhaps it would be best to visit your OB-GYN; that is certainly something you should do, along with seeking advice regarding your use of birth control. One cannot simply take pills for five months and then stop for another five months, for instance. It is also possible they aren't right for you at all.

Secondly, birth control is only effective if you are entirely certain your partner is being faithful and that you are in a committed relationship. I don't wish to lecture you on safety, but if you aren't in a steady relationship, I believe you should prioritize using condomsβ€”not just for the sake of preventing pregnancy, but for health reasons. In those instances, pregnancy is often the least of your concerns. (To me, a baby is never a problem, but rather a blessing 😍)!
No matter how hard one tries, I find it difficult to comprehend such a lack of responsibility toward one's own body. Once the consequences arrive, they are permanent.
Please forgive me if I sound too harsh; it is certainly not my intention, but...
You should definitely see your doctor; you won't make a mistake by doing so. I believe every woman and girl should undergo regular check-ups, even before seeing a dentist, if she intends to bear children and be happy someday...
Good Luck!πŸ™‚ And please, let this serve as a lesson.
Be sure to update us on what happens!πŸ™‚

P.S.: Honestly, I suspect you aren't pregnant! A test would have shown it by now...

First of all... THANK YOU for such an extensive response, thank you so much....πŸ™‚

Actually, I also think a test would show I am pregnant... if I had been pregnant for this long, but currently, I am just overwhelmed with fear, which is why I suspected it in the first place. Because of that anxiety, I have spent the last few days reading everything I can about pregnancy and early symptoms... but I haven't found anything concrete, which is why I am so worried... especially since most places I read say the early symptoms are almost identical to PMS... so I have probably just turned my PMS into pregnancy anxiety... or at least, I hope it's just PMS....
Though I am unsure when the initial symptoms begin, or when they transition into more distinct changes that would allow me to conclude how my body is altering... and how it is changing...
Regarding the pills, I took them for two years... and stopped six months ago, per my doctor's recommendation, because they were causing migraines... At that time, I was in a stable relationship.... And the guy I was with wasn't a stranger... we have known each other for years and are very close friends... we wanted to try a relationship, but we quickly realized our friendship worked much better πŸ™‚ I know that isn't an excuse for unprotected sex... but I am confident in his health....

I don't view this as a lecture, but rather as well-meaning advice, and I am grateful to you for it...

As for the gynecologist... I have intended to go for a check-up for some time now, but it has been difficult to organize, as I live commuting between two cities, and I am only in the city where my doctor is located on weekends....

To be perfectly honest... I am truly hoping that I'm not pregnant. I have such a deep affection for children and would love to have them someday, but I just don't feel like the timing is right. I suppose I simply lack the necessary stability at this moment, and perhaps I am not quite emotionally prepared either...

Thank you once again for your response... and for all of your advice...
I will let you know how things turn out πŸ‘

Best regards,
You're totally right, placidgardener19β€”that’s basically what my husband and I decided too. We're just going to enjoy life and not worry about having a baby unless it happens naturally😍
but honestly, those people starting to nag about how it gets harder once you hit 30 are really starting to get under my skin😠[/QUOTE

My period finally ended and I'm feeling a bit betterβ€”well, the sadness has mostly passed, anywayβ€”so I'm slowly getting back on my feet. I'm hoping things might work out this time, but even if they don't, there's still plenty of time... so please don't stress! And seriously, don't listen to all that noise people make. A relative of mine actually got pregnant at 37 after trying for four whole years, so don't let that nonsense get to you. I'm sure your little one will come along eventually; it's really just a matter of timing. It'll all work itself out, just try not to overthink it...........
In the meantime, we'll just keep waiting and hoping..........but I know that one day, we'll see that positive test........When? Just relax and try not to dwell on it..Honey, let's just dive into work and I'll start doing the same..........kiss
mandy said:If you were two months pregnant, a test would definitely show it. During pregnancy, those HCA Healthcare levels essentially double every single day, and tests work by detecting that specific hormone in your urine.
If you aren't certain, I suppose you should just see an OBGYN to get checked out.

Thank you for the response....
I am aware that the tests function by identifying HCA Healthcare in the urine... but I guess I am feeling a bit paranoid right now, so everything feels somewhat uncertain to me. πŸ˜•
